The design property in Table properties should work for your requirement. Select "alternating" value for design.
Please see the API below:
design
Determines the appearance of the table. The property design can take the following values and is represented by enumeration type WDTableDesign.
alternating - The table rows are displayed alternately in a different color.
standard - The table background has one color. The individual table rows are displayed with grid net lines.
transparent - The table background is transparent. The individual table rows are displayed without grid net lines.
Check whether you have changed the right property or not? Also table should contain more than one rows to test this scenario.

How can I set the program to automaticaly send recieved email addresses to my address book?

As the question asks, how can I set the program to automatically add new email address from messages to my address book. Other email programs can be set up to do this. If this can't be done in Firefox, why not. It's the best email program otherwise.

First off Firefox is an Internet browser and does not deal with email addresses or have an address book to add them to. Secondly I cannot think of a good reason to add the address of each piece of spam to the Thunderbird address book.
There are addons that will pick out addresses from incoming email and add them to the Thunderbird address book. I suggest you search through the add on list for one that fits your needs.

is "where ROWNUM <= 10" the equivalent of "cStatement.setMaxRows(10);" because the ROWNUM as problem with the ORDER BY clause and the setMaxRows() as no problem...

I have let the Mac OS-X software update run (Java and a few other things), and now when I want a finder window by clicking on the smiling blue face or with command-N, I get a stripped window with only the volumes but no tool bar nor the folders short cuts. How can I restore the full window by default? I can still get the whole window set from the menu bar or with a 3 keys command, but I don't remember where I can set that to be the default window... thanks!

How can I enlarge the calendar section for full-time events?

Hi folks,
since the update to ios 5 the calendar section at the top of the daily view (with full-time events) is limited in size. If I enter more than two messages I have to scroll to see all events. This is annoying since I typically miss the birthdays I cannot see.
How can I change the behaviour to the "old" style: show me all full-time events and hide the bar that separates the full-tim events?

How can i set the order of my accounts in favourite folders compact view? the order of the accounts in this view is different from the original order :(

i set up the desired order of the accounts (tools/options/advanced/general/config editor/mail.accountmanager.accounts) and when i switch to favourite folders compact view (view/folders/favourite + compact view), the order is totally different, hence i dont have the desired order in this view, but i want to use tb in this view, because this is the most appropriate to manage multiple folders, thank you for your help in advance, Joe (win7)

I don't think manually changing things via config editor is a good idea. You may reverse those changes before trying the extension.

i got that. while creating the theme, in Complex Elements select the group element and set the primary group header colour to golden and secondary group Header colour to Green and in ur webdynpro application set the Group Design property as Primary Color for which group u want to set the Golden color and set the Group Design property as Secondary Color for which group u want to set the Green color.

How can I keep the cookie history for one website while not allowing it for others?

My privacy setting is set to clear history, cookies, etc whenever I close out of Firefox. As a result, one website I use frequently re-asks security questions after I log-in even though I tell it that it should remember and recognize my private computer. According to the web tech support, it is because my cookies are being deleted. She said in Windows Vista, she found a way around that. I have Windows 7, but have not figured it out yet.
I would like to be able to specify which websites I want to be able to keep cookies for my computer. How do I do that?

Make an Allow exception for the ones that you want to keep.

You can inspect and modify the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"

How can i change the account type for one of my email accounts

I set up an account as IMAP, but I don't see the benefit, and want to switch it to POP the same as all my other accounts. The thing is, there seems to be no way to do this without losing all my email messages in this account... is there?

Set up a new account for POP. Take the IMAP account offline for now.
The Mails will disappear from that IMAP account once the POP account wipes them off the Server though.
