How can we unregister OID from R12 when OID has crashed

Our R12 Oracle Apps was registered with OID 10g. Somehow our OID has crashed.
Now we have installed a new OID 10g from same installer.
Now we want our R12 instance to deregister from old OID instance and register with new OID.
How can I deregister old OID from R12 fully when our OID is not running and there is no hope for us to restore it?

I did this with about 100 songs, and the problem is everytime I connect my iphone with itunes, It will automatically sync back every single song I did delete on the phone by swiping.
I did search on google and found out that serveral people has this problem. The songs wont delete from itunes library.
So why do they even make this function if it only deletes the songs for a short time?

1) delete the instance using dbca from any active nodes

2) delete listener
3) delete oracle_home from oracle user

Image Capture (in your Applications Folder) - In the preferences you can decide to 'Do Nothing' when a camera is connected.
Some versions also have this option in the iPhoto Preferences.

iOS has got Messages app, which uses iMessage to send and receive messages. iMessage can only be used in iPhones, iPads, iPods touch and Macs, not on your Samsung Galaxy phone.
You need an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac to remove your iPhone's phone number from Messages. After getting one, open Settings > Messages > Send and Receive, and remove your phone number. After doing this, when one of your contacts choose your phone number in Messages app, it will send a SMS instead of an iMessage

How can I prevent iPhoto from launching when I insert an SD card

I recently upgraded to a new iMac retina and am having trouble disabling iPhoto from launching when an SD card is inserted.
I have gone to iPhoto setting and disabled iPhoto from launching when a camera is connected.
I have also gone into image capture and selected no application as the hidden option for SD card actions when inserted.
Unfortunately the issue persists... two questions: can I do a terminal level disable to prevent iPhoto from launching or can I remove iPhoto from my computer?

Select your SD Card
Click the little widget in the bottom right corner of the window
Select the program to launch, or "No application"

How can I prevent Firefox from closing when it crashes?

So, I'm using a Windows 8 computer, & when it crashes, it closes altogether & it's really annoying having to reload my session, but when I was using a Windows 7 computer, Firefox hardly ever closed altogether when it crashed- all it did was freeze. How can I keep patterns from flashing when scrolling?

I am sensitive to flashing and strobing lights. They hurt. I have a lot of trouble with disorienting 'safety' lights, certain fluorescent lights, certain websites, et cetera. I also have trouble with disorienting noises. Elsewhere on this site, I had trouble with my screen flashing as I was scrolling. Apple had used a pattern of dots to create a medium grey, instead of using an even grey. It works fine on paper, but it flashes on the screen. Many patterns flash on the screen if I am scrolling.
Is there anything I can do about this?

When you first insert a CD your Mac comes up with a box saying
"You have inserted a CD" (duuh, Apple...)
Then you choose from a pop-up menu that offers "Open in Finder", "Open in iTunes", etc
At some point you (or someone) has chosen "Open in iTunes" then checked the little box that says "Make this the default from now on".
If you go into System Prefs (as already mentioned) you have a choice to reset what you want to do with a blank CD.

This has only become a problem recently. Whenever I disconnect -- not connect, disconnect -- my Bluetooth Bose SoundLink Mini speaker from my MacBook Pro iTunes will auto-launch. This problem has been an issue for a number of months and has led to frustration and public humiliation on countless occasions.
When disconnecting from my Bose Soundlink at home (playing nothing) in order to taking my laptop on the run I open my laptop to find that the entire contents of my iTunes playlist is being belted in public. The subway, the library, my classroom is not the time or place for my laptop to make the decision to begin playing my music without permission. When at home and my Soundlink goes on standby I have nearly had a heart attack when my laptop spontaneously begins blaring my music when I wasn't even touching the thing.
I love my Soundlink and I love my Mac but together the devices are causing no end of aggravation with no fix in sight. With each OS update I hope the problem is addressed but to no avail, it is getting tiresome that such a flaw isn't being fixed in a timely manner.
