How can X-UA-Compatible be set in APEX 4.2?

Problem
Columns that are styled with "white-space: pre" lose their style when the following statement is called:
$("#IRR_STATIC_ID").trigger("apexrefresh");
This happens when I use Internet Explorer 8 with Compatibility Mode enabled and when the page sets X-UA-Compatible to IE=edge.
Potential fix?
One fix is to use IE=8 so that IE8 doesn't use Compatibility Mode.
Is there a way to set X-UA-Compatible in APEX 4.2?
It looks like this can be done by editing the Page Template...

A column in an Interactive Report has some CSS like "white-space: pre" and the page displays properly when it's first loaded.
Why does it lose the pre-styling when $("#IRR_STATIC_ID").trigger("apexrefresh") is called?
Suggest you reproduce the problem on apex.oracle.com so we can try to find out.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

That has nothing to do with styles nor Pages, it is a System/Printer Driver setting.
You can experiment to see if the Printer Settings stick with your document, but in the past this has not worked.

Log into each device with your own Apple ID's in Settings > iCloud.
Then, so you can share preiously purchased apps, log into both devices using the Apple ID used to make those purchases, but ONLY in Settings > iTunes and Apps Stores.
Verify that each device uses your own Apple IDs in Settings > Facetime and Settings > Messages.

it is recommended to have only one active enhancement set per client.
For your businessrole you could use the role configuration key.
In our system each businessrole has it´s own role configuration key. But we implemented also a BADI if no configuration is found use our company default role configuration key and only if there is also no configuration use SAP .

how can i run unix script from my apex page and take the output of unix script as a hidden variable and display it on the report region of that page

I had a requirement to run a Fortran program against some data that woudl be extracted from the database after the user set up their filtering criteria and made some additional input. SInce the program was to complex to conver to PL/SQL, we decided to try and invoke it from Apex. This is how I did it.
1. I followed the steps in Tim Archer's excellent article "Oracle External Procedure to Run Host Commands" (http://www.timarcher.com/?q=node/9). If the link does nto work, google the article's title.
Using this steps I created a function which accepts any OS command, including calling my own shell scripts, and runs them. I called my PL/SQL function "shell" instead of "USF_RUN_HOST_CMD " as Tim did in his example (step 9).
2. In Apex,
a. I created a button to run my shell command. (I named it P2_RUN_SHELL)
b. I created a PL/SQL process whose source looks as follows:
shell('/home/ackness/scripts/cr_xcf_file.sh > /tmp/cr_scfp_file.log');
and which was conditioned on the the button P2_RUN_SHELL.
It works like a charm.
Note: since you can run your own scripts using this method, you can encapsulate a series of commands in a UNIX shell script and invoke that script from Apex. This allows you to be able to test or run you commands from the command line as well as Apex and makes it easier to develop/debug/enhance the scripts in the future.

I have a Dialog window that diaplays a table contating the information like student name, student id, student address etc. But the problem what i am facing now is i want ToolTip to be set to this table. i.e, when i move the cursor over this table, ToolTip must be set to the student name of the perticular Row to which the mouse is pointing.
I don't select the Row... but just move cursor over the table.
How can i achieve this?

probably best to add a mousemotionlistener to the table and by probing the generated mousevent (get the location of the mouse) on moving the mouse you can change either the tooltiptext or popup your own popup menu.
