How can you activate find my iphone if you dont have the device you need to find
I wasnt aware that i had to activate find my iphone and Apple themselves are being useless in helping. Is there anyway i can activate it without having the device as i have obviously lost it. or is there anyway of displaying a message even though it isnt registerted?

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

How can i turn off find my iphone if i dont have the phone and its turned off
i lost my phone, so activated find my iphone and also put the lock on it. the battery died so the fone is now off. i ended up buying a new phone and im trying to restore the latest computer back up onto the new fone but it is saying that i need to turn off find my iphone. i went to icloud and removed the lost device but because it is turned off its not working . is there any way around this or at least getting my photos and contacts onto my new fone. and i dont have anything saved on icloud
after ive connected the phone to itunes and i click on restore backup a box pops u and says
Find my iphone must be turned off before 'My Iphone' can be restored.
Go to icloud settings on you iphone and turn off Find my Iphone before restoring your iphone.
the first time this came up i went into icloud on my computer and removed the old phone from there but from what ive read it will only be properly removed when the fone gets turned back on. -

I have a theory. You don’t want to controll your car, you want to controll somebody who is driving the car. Volvo XC 60 is a nice family car, usually used by married men between age of 35-45, probably with small children, so it’s very unlikely that you want to controll your teanage kid, mainly because probably even if you would give him/her to drive the car in the neighborhoud, I don’t think that he/she would be „several hundred miles away”… If your child is not young teneage anymore, and he/she has his/her own life, but you want to control him/her, that is sick… So I am convinced that you want to controll your husband who probably travelling often! The serial number will not help you locate it.
IF you turned on the find my iPhone feature on the iPhone itself, then go to iCloud.com

When I copy/paste a paragraph from a PDF doc (onto Facebook status bar, for example) it pastes with no spaces between words. I.e: "The manhadajugofcoolwaterand offeredmeadrink." How can I fix this? I can't speak about this occurring with FaceBook since I don't use FaceBook, but I see the same type of thing when I copy and pasted from websites. It doesn't always happen and I cannot find any particular set of circumstances under which it occurs or does not occur.
I am merely responding to let you know that it happens to me as well and I have seen no way to correct it. I'm not so sure that there is a way to correct in in that it may have something to do with how the original text is formatted in the PDF or on the website and how it eventually "fits" into the text field or the area in which it is pasted. -
