How can you be sure you're active and on CC?

I installed CC yesterday and am in the process of running the updates, but from a couple of the videos I've seen I think products should be coming up as CC, not CS6, for instance DW has installed and updated to v12.2 Build 6006 but it still says CS6 all over it.
I'm presuming I'm running the full version as I have the deactivate option in the info menu, but I would like to know where in my AdobeID profile where I can see my status.

Okay - I found confirmation of subscription in "My products and services" at https://www.adobe.com/uk/account/ so I know that bits fine.

UIScrollBar Component can be attached to a dynamic text filed and the text field can be set to Render Text as HTML option which in turn can display both text & images(using <img> tags).

What does compress do? and how do you do it?

Compressing songs is exactly what it sounds like...making the song file smaller.
To do this, go to Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Importing. Change your settings to what you want (Apple says an average song is AAC at 128kbps encoding). The higher the bit rate, the better quality of the music. However, this dramatically increases the size of the files, so be careful.
So let's say you decide on AAC at 128kbps (what I suggest). Select a song (or multiple), and then go to Advanced>Convert Selection to AAC. Then you will have a duplicate copy in the Library. Go select one of the copies, right click it, go to Get Info, and see what type of file it is. If it is the old file format, you can remove it from the library. Be sure to keep the new one.

This issue can be caused by an old bitmap version of the Helvetica or Geneva font or (bitmap) fonts that Firefox can't display in that size.
Firefox can't display some old bitmap fonts in a larger size and displays gibberish instead.
You can test that by zooming out (View > Zoom > Zoom Out, Ctrl -) to make the text smaller.
Uninstall (remove) all variants of that not working font to make Firefox use another font or see if you can find a True type version that doesn't show the problem.
There have also been fonts with a Chinese name reported that identify themselves as Helvetica, so check that as well.
Use this test to see if the Helvetica font is causing it (Copy & Paste the code in the location bar and press Enter):

You should reset the network.http prefs that show user set on the about:config page. 
Not all websites support http pipelining and if they do not then you can have issues with images or other problems.

How can I be sure iMessage is sending and receiving via WiFi and not using my text message allotment?

My daughter has a new iPad Touch and I have a 3GS with 5.0.1. She wants to send and receive a million messages from me each day day with iMessage. Right now, I have Settings>Messages>Send As SMS - OFF. With this current setting, can I be assured I am using the WiFi only and not burning my SMS allotment from ATT? Am I safe to restore Send As SMS setting to ON? In other words, will the default method of transmission of text messages be through the internet, when that service is available?
Without waiting for a $1000 bill from ATT for text messages, can I ensure I'm sending and receiving iMessages through the WiFi only?

Well, I just noticed that a shaded iMessage appears in the enter text window when sending to her iPod Touch and my messages appear in a blue balloon, with her replies are in gray balloons. When sending to someone with another kind of phone, the text entry window says "Text Message" and my balloons are green. I guess this is an indication that the iMessage system is working and I'm not blowing through my SMS allotment from ATT.
With these indications, can I be sure I'm messaging through the iMessage system, or the carrier's SMS service?

It´s a on/off illuminating ssystem control. Shure the user will need a calendar programing tool to program weekdays, holidays, etc. on of functions.

As for FieldPoint, you can talk to it from Lookout in couple of ways -- either directly using the native FieldPoint object, or via OPC using the OPCFieldPoint object.
Based on the timers from above, you would turn On/Off the relays (on the RLY-420 module of your FieldPoint).

How can you share Contacts and use Family Sharing?

Still sharing 1apple ID & 1 iCloud from way back when. Kids were little, syncing was simple... turned off their device iClouds and synced apps, playlist, shows w/ iMac via usb. I loved having my contacts, bookmarks, notes synced via iCloud and it became VERY handy when kid1 got an iPhone (appointments, practices, friends #s w/ ease!) We've recently added a macbook and another iPhone to the mix, we've got music issues & iPads ringing.... so a potential overall may be due?
Now that Family Sharing is here, it's still missing features that we USE:
* Notes (grocery list, packing lists...)
* Contacts (each family member has a 'group' name, they add to their group and the family's master list is 'all contacts' for anyone to access incase of emergencies.... anyone keeping up w/ kids lately?!)
* And the ever present iCloud icon is a looming feature for anyone, any age in the shared-family to be too curious...
* CAN any of these features be added along w/ Family Sharing?
HOW do I set up a simple family sharing system w/o interfering w/ bookmarks, personal notes, FaceTime/msg crossovers :
share our purchases (apps, music from our iTunes/playlists, podcast),
share our calendar
share our contacts
share a family notes
msgs/facetime for each member

How Can You Share Music and Keep the Song Details?

I've done a bit of research on this and I'm hitting a wall. I'm trying to figure out how to:
1) Burn a playlist from my computer into an audio cd
2) Rip the audio cd on my friends computer with the song details still intact
These are personalized playlists, so CDDB wouldn't have the data. I want to be able to do this using audio cds, not data cds. I've tried to work with XML files to do it and just can't figure it out. If anyone out there can give me some steps to accomplish this, it would be infinately appreciated.

H.264 .mov problem how can you fix thumbnail and sound issue in Imovie08

Hi Experts,
So I used Dvdxdv to rip my personal DVD's to my mac. Since the files were 1.69gb each for a small amount of video, I used quicktime to compress them to H.264 the codecs is Integer(little Endian),H.264 to be exact. An 8 minute video is now 1.09g vs 1.69gb. for the record it is a 2channel total bitrate of 19519. The problem I have is when I load these into Imovie the Thumbnails all show the same picture (sometimes just gray & some show different every once and a while but mainly as described). This may not be a problem to me if the video matched the sound but it does not. It will when you play outside of Imovie using just the file in quicktime but not within I movie. Any thoughts? Is it the size? Please advise as I have used DV files and had no problem. I thought .mov as long as it was H264 would work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sharing photos from iphoto 11, why does the photo information not upload when I click with share via email? How can I make sure the photo information and location are shared when the photo (s) are shared.

How can you combine multiple PDF pages into one searchable PDF page?

I have scanned multiple business cards and now have a PDF file with over 500 pages (or cards). I would like to be able and create a page with 8 cards to a page and is still searchable for text. Right now, the text is searchable. Basically have 63 pages and not 500.
Example:
If I wanted to find Joe Smith's card, I could search for "Joe Smith" and it would search all of the text and bring me to the page(s). Right now, it will bring me to that page. Is there a way to create a page where I can have multiple cards and the text is still searchable?
I tried to create a page in Photoshop, made 8 different layers with 8 different cards, but when saved, not only was the file way too large, but no text, or font, was detected and there was nothing to search for.
Is there an option to create a page in Acrobat Professional and put 8 cards to a page?
I have InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional Pro.

How can you edit a form that you've already created?

I'm not referring to the form fields. I mean if you have a typo for example in the docuyment you created from InDesign and now you need to go back and correct it. How can you do that and maintain all the fields you've already created?
If you're not able to do this, that would be a huge flaw in the workflow.

I'll add my problem to this list as it sounds similar. First a little background. This is a problem I think we will see from a lot of long term users, so here is my story. When .Mac was first made available I signed up and was given a new apple ID [email protected] At this point I already had an Apple ID that I was using for just music purposes (apps didnt't exist yet) but was told by apple I would have to give it up. They could not merge IDs and would not change them. The end result was getting a new Apple ID and having to redownload all my purchased music over P2P or burn it and re-rip to remove the DRM. Fast forward a bit to a time when Gmail is getting bigger. I'm invited to try it out and I decide that I'm going to stop paying $100 for email, as I never really used he other features iDisk, photo sharing etc, and syncing contacts, calendars and mail was just as easy through gmail. Now years later we have iCloud. I have to sign in with my outdated .mac ID, at this point I have for too many apps/music/shows to drop that ID. When I sign in with that .mac Apple ID I get the automated iCloud message telling me my new email address is [email protected] However when I go to send email from my iCloud account it is using .mac as the sending address and the mail will not go through. I can't change it in the mail app or in settings. I'm kind of at a loss as to where to go next. I'm stuck with a defunct email address as a username that is more or less a key to thousands of dollars worth of content, and a new email address that won't function and nobody at Apple can press the right buttons to help clean it up. Some kind of system should be in place to change a user ID. Maybe once a year or once every other year. **** at this point I would even pay a one time fee just for my user name to be rid of that old .mac extension.

Sorry, I can't tell what it is you're trying to ask. What does the warranty have to do with your intention to return the iPad (to whomever) and get another one?
There's no way to deactivate a warranty.
The warranty transfers with the machine, has nothing to do with the owner.
Look around in the Support pages, you can figure out a way to type in your serial number and see what your current warranty status is.
