How can you disable the alerts for find my phone app

I have one iPad and 3 iPhones on my account. 2 of those are my kids. When I Use the find my phone App, one of my kids gets an alert that say I just tracked her, the other 2 phones don't or the iPad. How can I disable this? And why is that happening? If a phone was stolen I wouldn't want to alert the thief I was tracking them..

It's possible you may be able to trick it by creating an Applications folder in your Home directory and moving Safari to it.
I can't test this but it might work. The problem is that you would miss Safari updates, so you'd have to keep an eye out for them. Another solution may be to download another Safari and install in yourname/Applications.

I researched but could not find the answer to this.
I did find the "Do not allow users to edit profile" but I could not find where you can take away the ability for a user to Register at the help desk.
Meaning I want to be the only one able to create "End User" accounts. I will then give them their information.

Hi, I've been using a mac for almost all my life but recently something has been really bothering me on my new macbook air.
The finder window has a category called 'favorites' which to a native of the UK is incredibly annoying.
This has been a slight issue before.. the last version of pages used US English as its preference but you could get round it and it has since been corrected in the the new version. Finder is a completely different story. British English is down as my preferred language in System Preferences..so how can I change Favorites to Favourites?!

Putting British English at the top of the list should make that the default spell check language, but will not change the menus and dialogues, except in an app where that has been especially provided for. I think iTunes may do it.

How can you use the Keyboard for a JComboBox within a JTable without F2

I am brand new to Java and I can't seem to figure this out. I have a JTable with 4 columns. The first column is a jCheckBox which is working fine. The other three are JComboBoxes. They work fine when you click them and select from the list, but our end users only want to navigate with the keyboard. They want to be able to tab to the column and just start typing the first letter of the item that they want to choose from the list and have that pop up the list and scroll to the first item in the list that starts with the letter the typed. Does anyone know how to do this? I have been playing with this for a week now and I can't seem to make it work. Please help. Below is the code for my table. Any help would be appreciated greatly. We would like to disable the log file for positive pay program (Positive Pay File with Additional Parameters) because the log contains the whole positive pay file including confidential financial data. Is there any way to disable this logging?

I do not think there is an option to disable it. However, you may log a SR and confirm this with Oracle support.

HT201493 How do you change the settings for find my friends to use my contacts. When I signed in I selected do not allow iPhone to use my contacts and now all the names are in e mail format.

When I opened the app I selected do not allow, to use my contacts, but now realise I should have allowed it. I have uninstalled and reloaded it, but it will not ask me to use my contacts again. Any ideas as now I see e mail names and not just the persons name.

If you go to Settings > Notes > Default Account you will see "On My iPhone" as the default account and the only choice if you have not enabled syncing Notes in Settings >iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. If you have enabled syncing you can still select "On My iPhone" as the default account. When you are in the Notes app you won't see any accounts listed if you have not enabled syncing because they are all in the On My iPhone account and that is the only place possible. It is not a folder that you create.

I thought I might like the pass code lock activated and I did do that, but now I wish to de-activate it and when I went in and turned off the passcode, and shut the down and turned it back on, it did not work,,my phone is an unlocked phone,,did I just turn it from and unlocked phone to a locked phone permently,,confussed!

Settings/general/passcode lock then enter passcode and then tap turn passcode off The fact that your phone is unlocked is not relevant. IF you do what I said and don't turn the phone off as you have done it should work

Can you disable the front buttons on Convoy phone

Even when phone is locked, when phone is bounced around in my pocket the keys on the front get pushed enough to dissable "lock" and people get multiple messages sent from me. I would like to totally turn off the buttons on the exterior part of phone.
