I purchased songs from itunes using my PC at my office. The songs downloaded and I was able to listen to them from that computer. When I tried to sync them to my ipod, there was a message that using that computer would erase my library. So, I went home and thought I could sync the purchased songs to my ipod from my home computer, but the songs didn't show up in my library. Do I have to somehow transfer the songs downloaded at my office to my home computer where I originally set up my library? If so, how do I do that? Thank you in advance for your help.

The iTunes/iPod software isn't set up to let you sync songs from more than one libray, but if you manually manage the iPod you can add tracks from multiple computers without removing the existing content. Personnaly I think syncing with a library is a much better way to manage your iPod, so I'd suggest you just copy the stuff you bought at work onto a memory stick, then take it home and import it into your iTunes library there.

I bought a song on my ipod touch because It obviously has internet and I thought it wouldn't be a problem. I was able to download the song and listen to it on that ipod touch without any issues, however, I would like to be able to burn it to a cd, listen to it on my computer or otherwise be able to use it besides just on that ipod and I am unable to. I have even tried using outside software (Pod Revolution) which has worked in the past to back up music but it doesn't work this time because the song does not even show up on the device when I plug it in and open pod Revolution. You should be able to copy it over to your computer's iTunes by connecting the iPod to it and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases.
