How can you have two link styles on one page?

I have one style (formatted link style) for internal links in
my footer but I want a different style for the external links in my
mainContent. Is it possible to have two different "styles" of links
on one page? I tried creating a new set for the mainContent links
and being positioned underneath my footer link's styles, the "new"
mainContent link styles overrode the footer link style. Is there
another way of going about this?
Thanks anyone, Julie

As long as you permit yourself to offer this argument, you
will struggle
with Dreamweaver. If you are serious and want to improve, you
will have to
overcome your code-phobia.
What is in these two files?

    Can you have two seperate acounts on one MAC and if so how do you do it?

    Can you have two Apple IDs on one IPAD? One for school and one for home?
    If so do you know how to do it?

    It depends on what you want to do.
    You could, for example, have one AppleID for iCloud backup [and therefore message syncing, notes syncing, etc] and a second one for iTunes [music, iBooks, etc].
    But if you are looking for a way to flip everything between different appleIDs, then no.

    How can I have two itunes accounts on one computer?

    Not sure what you mean.
    An account is a user name and password.
    Sign into whichever account you want to use for purchasing.
    Authorize the computer for both account to listen to the content.

  • Can you have two apple ids on one mac?

    Can you have two apple ids on one mac? We each have iPhones and want to utilize iCloud.  Is this possible?

    No, in this case the 2 user accounts with its own Apple IDs would be completely seperated.
    If you want to share this things like music and app purchases you will have to to something else.
    1. Create two user accounts on your Mac (user A and user B).
    2. Create two iCloud accounts just for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Photos, etc. (one for user A and one for user B):
    On your Mac (with Mac OS X Lion or Mountan Lion):
    Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > iCloud > Create an Apple ID (button in left corner)
    On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch (iOS 5 or later):
    Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > iCloud > Get a free @me.com address and create a new Apple ID
    3. It is not recommended because you shouldn't share your Apple ID account information with other people but you could set up your old Apple ID as an account just for store purchases (Apps, Music, ...) so that everyone of you can manage the purchases in their own library (Access is limited to 10 devices). Therefore you have to setup this "old" ID in Settings of your iOS devices (Settings > iTunes & App Store) and in iTunes on your Mac.

  • HT4972 Can you have two iPhones to the one iTunes account? I am overseas and using the old iPhone 4 here, but also have a current iPhone 5.

    I have two iPhones, a 5 which I currently use and an old 4 which I use as a second phone as I am overseas. I have connected both to iTunes. Does this cause any problems have two phones on the one iTune account, as far as updates, etc goes?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
    It won't cause any problem. Moreover, you will be able to share the purchases between both phones and have the same information by using iCloud, so you don't lose anything

  • How can I have two different styles of hyperlink text on one page?

    Hi
    I'm using an external css document to control the look of my site, and would like to have two differnet types of hyperlink.
    One for within the content text, which would be the same size and style as the content text, and one that is BIGGER and BOLDER for 'title' hyperlinks.
    At the minute I have one set up for the content text, which is:
    a:link {
    color: #0000CC;
    text-decoration: none;
    a:visited {
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #666666;
    a:hover {
    text-decoration: underline;
    color: #0000CC;
    a:active {
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #666666;
    How can I set another style up for the title links without affecting the look of the content links??

    Pseudo-classes & Descendant selectors is what you're after...
    From your example, I would leave those styles for your standard links and would create new rules for the content area and then follow similar for your 'titles' or you could use Headings <h1> are they are actually headings that you want styled.
    The following is assuming that you have used a Div or a container with an ID of mainContent.
    #mainContent a:link {
         text-decoration: underline;
         color: #66CC99;
    #mainContent a:visited {
         text-decoration: underline;
         color: #66CC99;
    #mainContent a:hover {
         text-decoration: none;
         color: #333333;
         background-color: #FFFFFF;
    #mainContent a:active {
         text-decoration: underline;
         color: #66CC99;
    For another area of the page, say a left sidebar and gave it an ID of #leftcolumn
    (I've used the same styles for easier copying pasting, but naturally, you would style then differently)
    #leftcolumn a:link {
         text-decoration: underline;
         color: #66CC99;
    #leftcolumn a:visited {
         text-decoration: underline;
         color: #66CC99;
    #leftcolumn a:hover {
         text-decoration: none;
         color: #333333;
         background-color: #FFFFFF;
    #leftcolumn a:active {
         text-decoration: underline;
         color: #66CC99;

  • Can you have two iTunes programs on one computer??

    Both me and my sister have ipods but mine is a nano and hers is a mini, we both have different tastes in music as well. Is it possible to have two different iTunes programs on my computer? Help

    Hello Karen,
    There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. Have a look at the article linked below. Method one is to have two Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you two completely separate libraries. Method two is to set your preferences so each iPod is updated with only certain playlists within one library. Have a look anyway and see what you think and go for whichever you feel suits your needs best: How To Use Multiple iPods with One Computer

    Yes you can... and it's not that hard

  • Can you have two "ipod" functions on one phone?

    I listen to self help audio (John Maxwell/Zig Ziglar type stuff) and sometimes I'd like to hop over to regular music and then be able to come back to my audio content without having to start over. Is there any way to have two ipod functions on the same phone? Any settings or apps from the app store that might let me have two ipod functions run on the same phone?

    Try to tag the self help audio in iTunes as an Audiobook instead. Then sync it as an audiobook.
    Audiobooks in the iPod player can remember last position so you don't have to start over.

  • Can You Have Two Separate Quizzes in One Captviate SCO?

    Greetings,
    Here is my problem:
    Ideally I would like this question addressed via the other problem I posted to the board just a moment ago (re: multi-SCO package freezing at the end of the first SCO).  HOWEVER, I would take this solution as well:
    We want two have three parts to our SCOS.
    1. Pre-Test
    2. Instructional video
    3. Post-Test
    The learner need not pass the pre-test to proceed to video, nor do they need to pass the pre-test to pass the course.  The pre-test is really just a knowledge check.  The video must be watched, and the post-test must be taken and passed.
    When I try to insert multiple quizzes in Captivate, it only lets me put in 1.  Even if I split the test w/ a video, it treats it as one test.  Even if I make the initial quiz questions suvey, it treats it as one test.  The reason just making them survey questions won't work is because if they want to re-take the post-test (which we want them to be able to do), they have to go back to the first slide.
    I'd like the pre-test scored as a quiz, then the video, then the post-test taken and scored as its own quiz.  It SEEMS like this ought to be possible, seeing as I am almost positive that you can have mutliple quizzes in a Presenter SCO (and that you can do that in Articulate and Lectora), but I am not seeing how.
    Thoughts??

    Hi there
    Sorry, but any given Captivate project is considered to be a single Quiz. If you want things to be different, please alert Adobe to it by submitting a Wish Form to ask for it in a future version. (Link to the Wish Form is in my sig)

  • How can I have two iTunes accounts on one mac?

    I have a late model iMac and am running Lion. I have an account for myself with admin privileges. I also have an iTunes account and a music and video library in iTunes. I sync my iPod and iPhone to the iTunes account regularly.
    I recently added my spouse as a "Standard" user. She has an iTunes account, an iPhone and an iPad. How do I get her iTunes configured to download her music and apps to sync with her devices without destroying my own music and apps in the process? We keep getting a warning that all my stuff will be deleted without the possibility of reinstatement for 90 days! What is up?

    I agree with Chris CA that this is the way I would *expect* iTunes to behave.
    When I look at iTunes from my account (my music is in ~/Music/iTunes/ and not available to my spouse's account), I can see in my music library all my rips and my purchases, just as I would expect. I can use Store>View My Account (<myAppleID>) and all is as expected. Home sharing is NOT on.
    Doing the same from the other account is not much different, actually. Nothing in the library yet, of course. Store>View My Account (<herAppleID>) also works. I CAN authorize my computer to play her music. I CAN view her iTunes purchases. When I attempt to download the purchases to HER library, though, I get the following dialog box:
    Now I interpret this to mean that this computer (mine) will not download from a different AppleID (also mine) for 90 days. Is that [interpretation] correct?

  • Can you have two address books on one icloud account?

    My wife and I want separate contact lists.  Is there any way to do this with 1 ICloud account?
    Thanks,

    No, you need separate iCloud accounts. If you want to maintain separate Address Books you and your wife should have separate user accounts on your Mac anyway.
    You can setup separate Address Book groups within a Address Book in a single Mac user account.
