How can you tell if a PDF is RGB or CMYK?

From the screeshto below I am finding the only way to tell if a PDF I receive is RGB or CMYK, is by the transparency blending space. Are there any other ways?
The drop shadow on the chip is showing cyan, along with the yellow arrow. The original files do not have cyan in these areas. Is this because the PDF is being saved as smallest file size, which converts CMYK to RGB, then in Acrobat we are coverting RGB values back to CMYK, and with those color conversions you cannot proof Smllest file size PDFs for CMYK breakdowns.
What are others using out there in proffing PDFs for color, smallest file size with color conversion set to no? Doing that makes our PDFs about 150% to 200% larger and they often wont fit in email then. Are there any secret ways of proofing a standard smallest file size PDFs for accurate CMYK breakdowns?

In Acrobat Pro 9:
Advanced Menu to Preflight
Upper Right corner of Preflight dialog box click on "Options"
then select "Create Inventory"
deselect everything except colors and click "OK"
it will analyze your document and return with the number of "plates" as well as the names of the plates...

What I mean is tagged a few faces, imported some more pics, checked a few and they dont show as named faces, but are faces that are in my Faces source list (ie identified and named)

It just means that even when i import and it doesnt name, I may have lots of pics that are of faces but not tagged and so not in my faces source list

How can you tell if a file in your bin is being used in your project or not? My director dragged hundreds of reference files into my project and only used a few of them. I'd like to do some house cleaning and delete the ones that are not in use. This project file has 100 sequences in it, so it would be a tough manual hunt to figure this out.
In Premiere Pro (or Flash for example), where all the information is in the Project Bin such as in/out times and duration, there is where it tells you how many times that piece of media has been used or if it hasn't been used yet.
Can FCP tell me this info?

Within FCP, there is a menu item called "Media Manager" (depending on what version you are in). This would be worth your while to look into. It basically organizes your project by moving/archiving any used assets of a project and leaving out un-used assets. It saves a ton of disk space.
For example, say you have a 5 minute clip with an in/out point that is just 30 seconds. Media Manager will "archive" just that 30 seconds, not the entire clip. There is even a setting that you can add additional "handles" time to the front andd back of the clip if you think you may need to add or change transition.
Do a google search. I was just watching a few Youtube videos on this myself.

I know ipad albums are more like tagging photos rather than putting them in folders. I just have a nagging feeling I missed some pics and I have too many to try to go figure out one by one. I don't look at my photos from the camera roll, only from albums I tagged just because I imported photos from different sources and the dates and order is really messed up. Yesterday I downloaded a podcast with the new Podcasts app on my iPhone. To play the podcast (while away from my WiFi), I tapped the episode in the Episodes list. I assumed I was playing the downloaded version. This morning, when I checked my data usage, it was 87MB more than it was yesterday! Does this mean that I inadvertently STREAMED the podcast instead? How can you tell?

You can make a PDF file out of you notes and handouts but using the Adobe PDF printer.
Open your PowerPoint Document then go to “File” “Print”
Select ‘Adobe PDF” Printer
Under slides, select which way you want to print. Note it will not print to a printer but to a PDF file.
After then go into printer Properties and Setup PDF properties, do the following: (see second image below)
Default: PDF/A 1-b
Adobe Security: none (change as needed)
Adobe Output folder: Prompt for Adobe file name
Adobe Page size: Letter (change as needed)
Check the following check boxes
View Adobe PDf Results,
Add Document Information,
Rely on system fonts only,
Delete Log files for successful jobs.
Select OK
A pop will ask you where you want to save the document. The file extension should be PDF. After giving the file name select okay and the file should popup as a PDF. Down side is if you want to speaker notes included then you will have to do another file, like wise with just screen shots then combine into one PDF document.
I used Acrobat IX Pro. So to do this you need Acrobat IX or X Pro.

As the title says, how can you tell once installed.
the reason i ask is where i live there is only the bt-pcp and the drl-fttc cabinet and no others.
from what i heard is that both BT and DRL occupy the same fttc cabinet, and this would suggest so based on other information received.
yet from other information i'm hearing is that they don't and we're probably wired all the way back to the exchange which i would have thought was a bit odd seeing with 3 miles from exchange (as the crow flies).
so is it possible that they use the same cabs?

yeh am on infinity now and so far working fine
had one disconnection but thing that was caused by outage as took router a few attempts to re-connect, but other than that my pppoe has only dropped when made a change on router which required it to restart.
now been connected for 8 days without dropping (usually dropped every weekend when on DR) so continuing to monitor.
the engineer advised was connected via the cabinet in street, but only cabinets are the bt-pcp and the dr-fttc cabinets, and AFAIK BT and DR share the cabinet from what I've been previously told, but then someone else has said they won't do that and the connection is probably one that is underground if there is no bt-pcp.
i'll send Dean a message just so i know for future as i know the bt-pcp cabinet my number is connected too.

Easiest way is to open the clip using QuickTime Player. Then click Command-I to open the inspector.
(Or click WINDOW/INSPECTOR)

Only way is by looking. Just look at the dislay at an angle, and if you see a reflection it's glossy.
