I already went to system preferences, lenguage and text, selected the lenguage, closed the box, and restarted the computer..... the lenguage didn't chenge.
You have to copy your entire iTunes folder (not just music) from your old computer to your new one using one of the methods outlined here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527, as well as any data you are syncing with iTunes such as contacts, calendars and/or any photos you may be syncing from your computer to your phone. You then have to authorize the new computer for all Apple ID(s) used to purchase media from the iTunes and App stores in Store>Authorize this Computer.
If you are not able to do this, follow this guide to sync with the new computer with minimal or no loss of data: Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive.

Noob ? How change computer name
I've Googled my brains out and can't find the answer, and I did RTFM. But still can't figure out how to change the name in name column of the computer list.
When I add them the name appears as the IP address on some, as the full DNS name on some, and as the regular text name (e.g. Bill's Computer) on others. For the life of me, I can't find any way to change the one's with IP address to names.
Anyone know how?The ones with IP address are users that probably don't even know they can name their machine, much less where top do it.
Shouldn't the IT department be the ones who name the computers, so as to keep them conformed to a standard naming convention? Are the systems not installed from a master image, all preconfigured? Sounds like bad computer management.
Regardless, changing the DNS name in the ARD admin app can be done by right clicking on any client and choosing Get Info.
However this will not change the DNS entry for the computer on your DNS server. -

I want to change the computer with which I normally sync from my old to my new computer. I have de-authorised my old computer in the hope that my new computer would become the new preferred one. It doesn't though. How can I change this successfully so that when I upgrade to new IOS all my pictures etc. are being saved in the back up?

How can I change the lenguage of my Subject Form widget on muse?
I recently had the problem with the application of forms of contact, I CAN RECIEVE EMAILS. Im not user of Business Catalyst, im hosting my website with other provider.
My hosting provider told me that is a problem with the subject of my form becouse the software used is not transformed the accent of the word "Submission" to ASCII code. (See the image )

There is no way to change the language in Palm Desktop that I am aware of once it is installed.
You may need to remove the current Palm desktop and then download an english version of PD.

You can use your backup copy of your computer to copy everything.
For the itunes portion, you can type "move itunes library" into the google search bar.
Windows should have a way to copy all doc/pics/files/contacts/calendars/etc. -

I have a table with 2 billion rows and need to compute a group-id for each row. As a simplified example, consider the following table.

The group-id is initially NULL and needs to be computed as follows. Order the table by year and value. The first row gets group id = 1. Then
(a) any time the year changes, that row is assigned the next higher group id.
(b) any time the year does not change but the value of the preceding row differs by more than 2 from the current row, then the current row is assigned the next higher group id.
(c) otherwise, the row is assigned the same group id as the preceding row.
I have a PL/SQL procedure with performs this computation. Works fine. But was unable to find a SQL command to do it. Looked for an analytic function to provide a group number similiar to how row_number works, and was unable to find such a function.
The first try was something like the following (to find the rowid and new group id prior to issuing the update). Nextval and currval were not allowed in this context, and moreover, the logic depends on an ordering which is probably not guaranteed.

Any suggestions on how to efficiently compute the group-id?Even if the subquery output was not sorted, the over clause give us the insurance to be processed in the specified order.
You can just run a test by adding an order clause in the subquery to see that the result is same (note that's just for test, you'll may some perf problem if you add it with real data) :

Now I want to use the software again but I cant find were to download it or how to activate it. The activation codes are specific to each computer, so if you changed your PC, you need to generate new activation codes or activate your software using the serial number.
You can register your serial number on the next page, so you can download versions of LabVIEW activated with that serial number.

Hi all. I have short question. In my work I use Mac OS X Leopard in english language, of course I use iWork 09 and right now I working with english interface. My question is how change interface language on example polish language, and keep english language in Mac OS X. Any know how do this?
ThanksIn the Pages Info on my English language OSX 10.5.6 all the languages are spelled out in full, not abbreviated as in the above example, which is in Tiger.
Also all the languages are checked but that doesn't change your menus and Pages' GUI. To do that you will have to go to the +System Preferences > International…+ and change your language to Polski by dragging it to the top of the list.
I have done this before for Norsk Bokmål. Be careful it does change the language throughout Pages but odd things happened when I tried to change it back. The Norsk stuck in some of the palletes like the Media Browser and I eventually had to restart my computer to shake it off.

I have the media for CS5 installed on my former computer. I changed computer, so I deactivated the licence. Then I proceeded to the installation on the new computer. First CD was OK. After being asked to instert second CD I got message: Your installation encountered errors. Try to reboot your system and try again. I did with no result. It shows Exit code 7, and there is a log of errors. Any help?

Leopard uses the stock icon with the image of your computer model for the "computer icon" in the sidebar. you can replace the stock image with your own if you wish and it will display that. go to /System/Library/CoreServices. control-click on Coretypes.bundle and select "show bundle contents". in the resulting window go to contents->resources. locate the icon file corresponding to your computer model. mine is com.apple.macpro.icns. replace this icon file with yur own (it has to be a .icns file) and log out/in. I suggest you back up the stock icon before you do this in case you want it back.
