How change image of a single folder?

Is there a way to control the appearance of a single folder (or folder button, as I guess it's technically called) without changing the other buttons on a menu?
When you add a folder, it defaults to a folder-like graphic. It seems that when you add content, the folder's image changes to a still from the first movie inside. I'd like to either keep it as the folder graphic, or be able to customize its appearance. Is this possible?

How do I insert a single-fold in the layout?

I've been tinkering with Pages now for a while and (embarrassingly) cannot figure out how to insert a format layout for a single-fold. I am trying to create a funeral program with a simple 8.5X11 single-fold layout.

Here's the second post, with the 'roll your own' instructions.
Open a new Page layout document based on the Blank landscape Canvas (Page Layout) template.
Click on the inspector button and choose the Document inspector (first button).
Set all four margins to 0.5"
Leave the Header and Footer checkboxes unchecked.
In the Toolbar, click on the Text Box tool to insert a text box. Click outside the box to deactivate it, then click on the box to Select it. (You'll see square white handles at each corner and in the middle of each side of the box.)
In the Inspector, click the Metrics button (ruler).
Set the box width to 4.5" and height to 7.5".
Set both X and Y positions to 0.5".
With the box still selected, press command-D to duplicate it.
The new box will be selected.
In the Metrics inspector, set the X position to 6.0" and the Y position to 0.5"
You will now have a single page with two text boxes, a half inch margin on the outside edges, and a one inch gutter between the two boxes.
in the Pages list to the left of the main window, click in the icon for the first (and only) page to select it, then press command-D to duplicate it.
Save the file
You now have a simple template for the outside and inside pages of your single fold booklet.
The page order for the booklet is:
4 | 1 (back, front)
2 | 3 (inside left, inside right).

How to export/import a single folder of bookmarks

I want to export and import a single folder; or more correctly, backup / copy-transfer; one single folder at a time - but regardless how I attempt to do so, ALL bookmarks are transferred and I then have to go through several hundred to elmininate the duplicates. Please advise if it is even possible to save/backup then restore a single folder at a time. Thank You.

You can copy and paste that folder or selected bookmark to the clipboard and paste them in a text file.
You can also use another profile with no bookmarks and copy an paste that folder to the other profile and export them from that profile. 
Both profiles need to be open at the same time by starting the second profile with the -no-remote switch because current Firefox versions clear the clipboard if you close Firefox. 
Copy and Paste selected bookmarks from one profile to the other profile in the Bookmarks Manager (Library).

Hello! How change image resolution (dpi/inch) with Automator!

I have some images to combine in a PDF. The resolution of images is different so the PDF has different size of pages.
I need to modify the resolution using Automator but... how to do it?

Have you tried setting it up using "crop images" - you can specify the size.

How do i copy a single folder in the bookmarks to another computer. the master backup does not have access to individual folders. in windows you can just copy a specific bookmark folder without overwriting the whole thing

just want to copy fav2 to another computer

Unfortunately you can not do that it has been asked like forever and always gets pushed aside. You will have to export your bookmarks and strip out what you do not want being careful to maintain the integrity of the exported bookmarks backup file. Then import the bookmarks. into Firefox. The imported bookmarks will get added to a folder at the end of your "Bookmarks Menu" bookmarks folder. Move them to where you want them and then delete the folder you added to the "Bookmarks Menu". If you automatically sort your bookmarks (automatic sorting is a bad idea), be sure to turn it off beforehand.

How to creat a Password Protected Folder

Hi
I was wondering how do I create a single folder that contains all of my passwords (Banking ...etc) that only I have access to - I would like to password protect this foder and if possible have the information inside encripted.
I was looking into security vault - but I'm afraid it encripts all the folders on my Mac. I just want to create a single folder - everything else should be as it was.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Create a password-protected (encrypted) disk image
1. Open Disk Utility at /Applications/Utilities.
2. Images>New>Blank Image... or click the "New Image" button in the Toolbar.
• go to step 3
2a. To encrypt an existing folder..
• Go to...Images>New>Image from Folder.
• In the dialog window, select the folder and press "Open"
3. Type and/or select from popup window .....
• Name • location • Format
• Size (no size option for folder)
• Encryption .....AES-128 must be selected
4. Click the "Create" button ..... or if Image from folder was used, click "Save"
5. Enter and verify your password when prompted and click "OK".
6. The .dmg will appear on the desktop and the left pane of Disk Utility.
•Important...If you forget the password, the data stored will be lost.If you save your password in the keychain file, it will be available to you there.

How do I change the background image for a single tab on the navigation bar

I'm creating a movie website for TDKR and for the navigation bar, I intend to have a different character for each tab. However, I'm having trouble putting a single image each separate tab. Instead one image appears on each of the tabs. Here's an example of the source and CSS.

How do i import images stored in a folder sequentially and add a timer to change in sequence?

Hello,
I am actually very new to Labview and I do not have much idea about it. Can anyone provide me a VI which can import images stored in a folder sequentially.
Example: the images stored in the folder have names like 1.bmp,2.bmp and so on...
I want to import 1.bmp first and after 8 seconds 2.bmp and so on..
Please help me with this.

Change view options for a single folder

I use the Finder exclusively in "column view".
I have a folder that contains some huge (> 1 GB) .tiff files. If I navigate to one of these files, the Finder tries to generate a preview image, but this typically takes more than a minute. I want to turn off the "Show preview column" for this folder (but only for this folder). Under Finder>View>View options I can hide the preview column, but this change applies to my entire file tree. I can't find a way to restrict the change to a single folder.
Note - if you work in "list view", the view options menu gives you a choice of making changes to "this window only" or "all windows". Not so in column view.

Probably the best option is to put that folder in list view. When you navigate to the folder containing that folder in your normal Column view, you can hold down the Command key and double click the folder. It will then open in a new window and display in List view. If you use this folder frequently, drag it to the Dock, when you select it from there it will open in List view. I have a number of things that I prefer to open in List or Icon view, rather than my usual Column view, but don't want to clutter up my Dock, so I keep aliases to some of them on my Desktop, and some in my home folder (depending on how often I access them). The ones on the Desktop open in the preferred form with a double click, the ones in my home folder open the way I want with a Command double click.

Did you try browsing your backups in the Finder ? That is, do not go and "Enter Time Machine". Instead, navigate to your Time Machine backup via Finder and then manually go to the time period (by folder name) you are looking for ... when you find your Aperture library you can then "Show Package Contents" and find the Master you are looking for.

Problem in Saving Images in Single Folder in Nokia...

I want to know how to transfer images keeping it in folder. I connect my E63 with USB.I copied my "Photos" folder from my laptop,then opened "File Manager" in Nokia PC suit. There I get 2 options. 1)Memory Card 2) Phone Memory.I select memory card, In that I opened Images Folder which is default in Memory card. I paste My "Photo" folder here in "Images" folder in Memory Card.After disconnecting my phone from USB cable when in my E63 I open Media->Gallery->Images I can see all my images of that folder differently and not in a single folder "Photos" which i pasted.So what should I do?I want all images in folder as I copied and pasted. Am I suppose to create new folder manualy in Phone's Media Gallary?But in phone when I go to Office->File Manager and browse through Images folder of Memory card, I find all images in same folder "Photos" which i pasted(copied), but in Gallary->Images i find all images seperately and not in folder. What should I do? Please help me.

Hey bro thanks for reply..My main purpose for asking this question was related to xplore only. I tried xplore on my E63. When we hide folder by xplore, we browse through file manager.I mean xplore shows Folders that are in File Manager.After Hiding folder, when I go to Gallery->Images, all the images in folder which I have made hiden, are visible,but...but....all the images are converted in one images. Let me explain, Suppose my folder contains 15 images named IM1,IM2,IM3....IM15. ok. After hiding folder in gallery when i See, there are total 15 images but all are IM1.Again when I unhide folder, its normal. I also tried ticking system option along with hide option in Attributes of xplore as someone suggested me to do so.But didn't worked. My main purpose for asking to move all images into single folder was this only.I didn,t knew you too would be using xplore or else i would have directly asked you this question only.

Due to the reason we need a different configuration in KM, I changed e.g. some values in the .cc.xml and .co.xml files. I rebuild the project and checked the created EAR file. I noticed that the ConfigArchive file in EAR file still has the old values. It seems that SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.3 is not recognizing in a portal application project the configuration of the src.config folder anymore. To test this, I removed the initial provided ConfigArchive in the folder dist\PORTAL-INF\config\ from your project. I rebuild it and the ConfigArchive in the EAR file wasnu2019t included.
I found in the documentation (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/de/42/60aec0032c1422e10000000a114cbd/frameset.htm) the SAP Note 1572813, which would describe how to use KMC wizards in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.3. But the article is currently not released to public.
In addition I have discovered, that it is possible to include the src.config folder in the build process if the project is set up as a development component (see for details bullet point Optionally of http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/de/42/60aec0032c1422e10000000a114cbd/frameset.htm). This works. But later on I am facing another problem: I am missing the entry KMC-CM to add it as a dependency for the development component.

i How can one place a single image on a spread? CS3-MAC
A very straight forward question I think. I just never did it before. Anyone knows of a fast technique of doing this? I have to make 70+ images this way. Could it be scripted?

You'll need to be more specific. Placing a single image on one spread is drop-dead simple. File > Place, choose file, click (or click-and-drag) to place, scale and position as desired. You can ask about scripting in the
scripting forum.
You might not need to script this to get efficient use of time. Make a picture frame on the master spread and then insert 140 pages (70 2-page spreads) based on that master. File > Place, and select all 70 files. (They need to be in one folder. Click on the top file, scroll down, lick on the bottom file.) Zoom out and click once on each spread to place each image. Should work faster that writing, testing, debugging, and running a script.

In broad way if i say i have multiple situations in mutiple tables where i need such a logic to operate in for all tables.
lets say in first time load of page by default one image will be displayed (one with sorted order for first column rest all non sorted)Now after every click to any image respective sort should get called.along with all images should get changed.Here with every function one/two images will get effect at least.
As in first if i say sort by desc then this image will change rest all will remain in unsort form.
when i move to other column and click on new image the previos will convert to unsort and new one will convert to sort by ascending. rest all will be in unsort form as it is.
Now it seems like same logic is required with two three conditions.
even for everyaction different parametrs has to be passed at differnt situations.
Any good idea if someone can suggest.
I will be very greatful for him.
