How check Integration process

Hi friends
I have scenario like when ever maintenance order is created and released an event will trigger function module to post the details to PI to start the Integration Process.
We created Maintenance order in IW31 and released from IW32.
after this i am not able to find messages in SXMB_MONI and I am not able to see in SXMB_MONI_BPE
how to check Integration Process working or not. Please guide me

you need to put breaakpoint in your FM to see if FM is being triggered and the value are getting inserted into the tables/structure of FM

Question about Integration Process:
Would the use of IP be a candidate for the following scenario;
. I'm receiving three text files with three different structures (Header,Detail & Summary).
. Each files contains multiple records.
. For each files, records inside have an ID Number. Which means it's a key. Therefore 1 transaction (example PO#12345) is scattered in those three files.
I need to consolidate, for each record, into one XML message!
Can you correct me if my high level IP is ok or not?
1. Create three receive steps
2. Create correlation based on PO#
3. Create a block
4. Create three transformation steps that will put relevant info into the commun message.
5. Create a send step

First, to answer Agasthuri, no the sender side can't send us a consolidate file.
Second, to Sekhar, How can I use only one transformation steps? The sources messages have three different structure, therefore 3 messages mappings!
Third, if I don't use BPM, then I will need to collect the first message(outbound) (header) --> Message Mapping to create the consolidated message (inbound)
And collect the second message (outbound) (detail) --> Message Mapping to Update the consolidated message (inbound)
And last, collect the third message (outbound) (summary) --> Message Mapping to Update the consolidated message (inbound)
What's your opinion??????

How to check if message is empty in Integration Process

Hi!
I have Integration Process with container object OUT_CR This type of message I get from another message using xsl-mapping. The point is that result message can be empty (only message header - "<MT_1C_BXY_CR/>").
In Integration Process I place the step Switch where I use condition to determine if my message is empty and if it's not - to send it to receiver system.
I'm beginner in PI and it's the first time I try to use Condition Editor. I tried to put condition like "EX OUT_CR./p1:MT_1C_BXY_CR/ONE" but it doesn't work.
Could you advise me how can I check If the message is empty using Condition Editor in IP? Or may be any tutorial on working with Condition Editor in PI?

How to trigger an integration process at a certain time each night.

I have an integration process to collect messages that I would like to trigger at a specific time each night. I looked at the Wait step in order to do this, but it looks like you can specify a fixed time, or a repeating time.
If I used 'Wait until Specified time', I could specify the time, but the date is a problem; I cannot fix it as a certain date because it will only work for that date only.
If I take the date from a field of the message, I'm not sure what will happen since it looks as if the date would be updated each time a message is received to the collective process.
I could take the date from the first message, and store it as a variable, then use that in the wait step, but since the date is not in the correct format, I would need to use xpath somehow to do that.
Alternatively I was thinking about using a wait for event step, and raising the event from a background job, but this only seems to be available in ABAP Workflow directly, not from the Integration Process Editor. Is it permissable to modify the generated ABAP Workflow and add a Wait for Event step to allow this to happen?
Does anybody have an opinion on the best way to proceed?

Hi, Francesco.
I've debugged ABAP Mapping with SXI_MAPPING_TEST transaction.
If you have creted a scenario including your ABAP Mapping, you only hace to put the correct sender/sender interface and receiver/receiver interface. You have to put some XML document as an input.
I wrote in my code the Break-point instruction an debugged the process without problems.

How to configure Integration Directory for Integration process async sync

I am confused about doing configuration in Integration Directory i.e receiver determination,interface determination and receiver agreement and sender agreement for my integration process as it involve synchronous send at target side.
In my Scenario , we get Purchase order request(asynchronously) from SRM system in proxy xml format which we have to map to Cxml format send it to third party system(say system 2) as http request.Then we will recieve a response from system2 in Cxml format through HTTP.Now,we have to map this response as to SRM system via proxy code for successful and error case .If error occured we also have to mail to the respective department about the error occured via mail adapter.Proxy to XI is a asynchronous communication and XI to System2 is a synchronous communication .Then again XI to SRM is a asynchronous communication via proxy.I have request and response External defination for Cxml i.e HTTP side.
I have done following integration process in ESR

Recieve(1) -- is used for recieve request from SRM.Mode is asynchronous

switch-switch Branch1 is used for checking error response to be true---
Transformation(5)--- is used to map HTTP response to Mail response structure
Send(6)----
is used to send mail content to Mail adapter
Transformation(9)---- is used to map HTTP response to Proxy response
Send(10) --- used to send mapped proxy response to SRM as to update status by calling calling Function module using proxy code.

In BPM data does not flow in Backword direction!
take any step in your BPM the message it is goiong to receive will be what a step just before it is giving to BPM.
Now in your case
IR Part:
You have to call Third part Synchronously and the input to it will be what Proxy has given to you.
Create an Abstract Synchronous(in case of abstract you need not bother it is Inbound or Outbound) in which(I mean the Message Interface) The Output message will be what you have Received from Proxy and the input message will be what you are going to receive from the Third party as a Response. Now you would have Inbound Synchronous Interface created for calling Third party.
Have a Interface Mapping between the Abstract Synchronous and Inbound Synchronous Message Interface.
ID Part:
For synchronous Step: BPM will; be sender with Message Interface Abstarct Synchronous
Third Party will be receiver With Inbound Interface(Synchronous). Use the INterface Mapping between Abstract Synchronous and Inbound Synchronous that You have created in IR.
Have a Receiver Agreement for the Thirs part.
No Sender agreement required in case of BPM as a Sender.

Hi Spring,
If u give an exception step along with your Transformation Step, whenever some error occurs in your message mapping, this exception block wil be triggered.
You can configure your exception block to do all exception processing that you want. This exception handling is like any other java Exceptio n Handler. You can do anything that you want in your exception handler block on the basis of your requirements.
If an exception is triggered at runtime, the system first searches for the relevant exception handler in surrounding blocks. If it does not find the correct exception handler, it continues the search in the next block in the block hierarchy.
When the system finds the correct system handler, it stops all active steps in the block in which the exception handler is defined and then continues processing in the exception handler branch. Once the exception handler has finished processing, the process is continued after the block.
If the system fails to find an exception handler, it terminates the integration process with an error.

How to configure Integration Builder using an Integration Process?

Dear experts,
I have problems configuring the Integration builder using a Integration process.
Scenario = idoc to PI, integration process transforms idoc to file, file to external system.
My integration process starts with an abstract interface (structure of idoc) and ends with an abstract interface (structure of file). But I just can not configure the integration builder correctly...
I did it as follows:
Sender agreement: comm.component = SAP system; interface = Idoc;
receiver determination: comm.component = SAP system; interface = Idoc; configured receiver = my integration process;
interface determination: comm.component = SAP system; interface = Idoc; receiver = target system comm.component;
Receiver agreement: comm.component = SAP system; receiver = target system comm.component; interface = filestructure of target
This does not work unfortunately. How can I pass the Idoc to my abstract interface? And how can I pass the result of my integration process (abstract interface) to the inbound interface? In the interface determination I can not select my Operation Mapping (but that should not be nessesary as I already created an Integration Process)...

Just consider your BPM is receiver, and sender:
Src --> BPM (BPM is Receiver)

Sender Agreement (If it is IDOC or HTTP, then you do not have to create)
Commnunication Channel
Receiver Determination
Interface Determination
BPM --> Target (BPM is sender)
============
Receiver Determination
Interface Determination
Communication Channel
Receiver Agreement
If your BPM interact with other systems, you will have more Receiver Determination and Interface determination, possible Receiver agreement

Must be the server has different clients,one declared as application server ie abap stack client and the other declared as Integration server ie XI. U might be trying to open idx5 in application server client, in which idx5 exists but you cant open the screen even, that can be achieved through we02.
000 is the default client when XI server is installed .We can create separate clients on the system through sccl tcode.
As told we can find the client on sap logon screen.
Logon to sxmb_adm and check whether the client is declared as an application system(r/3) or Integration server(xi).Try idx5 in xi not r/3

How to Cancel the integration process(ccBPM) after a specifice period

Dear Experts,
I have a ccBPM(integration process) having two receive steps using one correlation,
1. First receive step receives the Delivery IDOC
2. Second receive step receives the Invoice IDOC of the corrospondng delivery of the first receive step using the correlation.
This works perfect when both the documents comes to XI.
Problem is if the delivery comes and invoice dosen't come for some reasons then process is active and waiting indefinately. We want to cancel the integration process if the invoice IDOC is not received in 48 hours.
Please guide how to achive this in ccBPM.
We are working on PI7.0

you can use block step and cancel process after a particular time(48 hours in your case)....
control step has 3 operations.......throw exception,raise alert and cancel process..

Why is the update on Icloud setting not an integrated process Apple desingners! On my apple iphone 5, after new ipdate. My icloud on my iphone askes to back up. It still have my old id an password and I cant change it anywhere. I dont have that email account for a year now , and dont have the password of it. All my other devices shows my new apple Id and password. I cant change it at mannege my apple Id because it is the new one. Itune use the new one, but no, not my iphone. So, what do I do now?

You have to do the following to get your new Apple/iCloud ID signed onto your device:
1.     Go to Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the old email address (do not verify it - this is temporary):
Apple - My Apple ID
2.     Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and Delete the iCloud account. Use your current Apple ID password when asked. Follow the prompts to delete the account
3.     Go back into Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to your new email address (you may need to verify it again)
4.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign onto iCloud with your new Apple ID. Turn on the options you want sync'd with iCloud, give it a little time to push the info down to your device.

Idoc to flat file using Integration process does not show up at all

Hello All,
I created a scenario IDOC to Flat File using Integration Process and one without IntegrationProcess. I am able to execute the one without Integration Process easily.
However when I send the IDOC from SAP then the Integration Process scenario just does not work.
I Checked SXMB_MONI There is no entry for the Integration Process.I can see entry for other without Integration Process.
SXI_CACHE : I can see my Integration Process active
SWEQADM : I have activated the Event Queue and Background job
SWF_XI_ADM_BPE : ALL BPE is showing green status.
All syntax check on IP are fine.
There is no Basis Help for me so there could be some additional basis steps which need to be configured. Has anyone faced such an issue with Integration Process?

Hope this might help you. when u configure an IDoc as Sender with BPM this is how you proceed.
1. let us split the scenario into two.
a. Sender to BPM ( Integration Process).
b. BPM to Receiver.
2. First let us configure the first Sender to BPM.
a. Sender Agreement( Not required ).
b. Receiver Agreement( NOT Required).
c. Receiver Determination( Sender Service, Outbound Interface, Receiver Service(Integration Process).
d. Interface Determination( Inbound Interface(Sender Abstract Interface), Message Mapping(NOT Required if your using transformation stepin Integration Process)).
3. Now let us configure the Second BPM to Receiver.
a. Sender Agreement( NOT Required)
b. Receiver Agreement( Sender Service(Integration process), Receiver Abstarct Interface,Receiver service, Inbound Interface).
c. Receiver Determination( Sender Service(Integration Process), Receiver Abstarct Interface,Receiver Service).
d. Interface Determination( Inbound Interface, Message Mapping(NOT Required)).
So Finally we have One Receiver Agreement, Two Receiver Determinations, Two Interface Determinations.

Correlate MDN to AS2 message using an integration process

Hello,
I had a similar question in a previous thread but closed it as the problem might have not been to clear.
Problem is that we have to use BPM for an AS2 scenario and correlate the MDN back to the process as we need BPM functionalities such as error handling and time-outs as well as some data enrichment.
Problem is even when I request the MDN synchronously on Adapter Level it is delivered as asynchronous message back. So I need to figure out how to correlate it.
MDN contains the messageID so I tried to use the messageID of the original message as correlation. However problem is that a new message ID is assigned when the message is sent by the integration process and the second on is used then as ID in the MDN.
It seems to me that it is therefore not possible at alle to correlate the MDN? However this is a definitive requirement so I am really stuck at the moment.
Do you have any idea?

well, actually the correlation itself would work as I extract the messageID in a transformation step and then activate the correlation in a send step.
If I check the flag "Refer MDN to XI" in AS2 receiver channel the MDN is delivered back to the integration server and the original messageID is then part of the MDN message payload.
However, and that is the big problem, the MDN uses the second messageID that is created when sending the message from the integration process (and not the first one when the message is sent from sender and process by the integration process).

How to reduce processing time in case of jms to idoc scenario

i am doing jms to idoc scenario.
in this i'm using xslt and graphical mapping.
while perfroming E2E testing the messages are taking lot of time to get processed.
please tell me as how can i reduce this processing time or in short how can i overcome this problem.this is a critical issue in production.

Hi,
1. To reduce the processing time for JMS -> IDOC scenario, try to get the Average processing time taken by JMS adapter, IE, IDOC adapter for the messages that are processed so far by going thro the Adapter Audit logs, SXMB_MONI race and Time in WE02 in R/3 system. Calculate this for 5 - 10 messages at different time to get the clear idea of which step is consuming more time. Then it will be helpful to focus on tuning that specific step. If you are using BPM, check the processing time taken by PE.
2. Check the Inbound and Outbound queues used by this interface, if required try to configure Prioritized Queue with more time allocated for this interface in Integration Engine.
3. Check the load on the Integration Server when this Interface messages are getting processed, to understand/ isolate the interfaces which are consuming more processing time and system resources.
4. If this is not in Production try to perform the Mapping/ transformation in graphical mapping itself, it will be helpful to minimise use of XSLT mapping to get better performance.
5. Check if the Archive and Delete jobs are running successfully in the Integration Server, since this will free up the occupied resources in the system.
6. If possible post seperate Forum questions for issues in different Interface scenarios, it will be easy to understand the problem for all of us.

File adapter transport acknowledgement in Integration Process

Hi,
    I am working on a very complex integration process. In one of its part, a message is sent to the File Receiver and a Transport Acknowledgement is requested. From what I read, I still don't get it how to check in the integration process if everything was fine.
    Do I need to place an exception branch in the corresponding block and if the send step triggers an exception, that means that the acknowledgement wasn't received? Or do I need to make a receive step with a deadline of around 30-60 secs and there wait for the acknowledgment, triggering the exception here?
    Basically I would like to implement something like If there's an error do a specific mapping, if it went through then do a different mapping.Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

In that case you shouldn't think of Deadline branch. Use the exception branch inside block and there you may specify another mapping condition.
