How come a locked decoration doesn't show up in the VI.Panel.Decorations[ ] property but a locked control shows up in the VI.Panel.Controls[ ] property?

This seems like an oversight. Granted, I shouldn't be able to write to size and position properties of a locked decoration, but I would really like to read this information.

OK, but seriously, Regarding workaround No. 2. I tried to use the VI.Panel.AllObjects[] property but the refnum of all decorations are invalid and I get Error 1055 (Object reference is invalid) when I try to operate on it. I am running LV 6.0.2. Attached is an example with the values after running it on my PC saved as defaults.

Yes I worked previously but it's now not working. I did double click home botton and terminate the maps many time but still not working.
The standard maps just not show any route only the blue dot (my location.) I really don't know what to do. Btw, I used to live in SF but now I'm traveling to Thailand. One of my friend is using iPhone 4S as well but his maps is working. So I guess it is about its application on my phone...

As of recently any photos I add to a shared photostream will not update for others and I don't see the updated photos on my other devices. Only I can see them from the device that i've posted from. How come others sharing this photostream are no longer getting the new photos? My iphone (the device i'm adding from) shows 20 pictures in this shared photostream and yet 4 other people that I share this photostream album with and my ipad only show 12 photos. For the past week I keep adding photos thinking people will see them but it just won't update the new ones. Any ideas how to fix this?

You can stop new photos being automatically added to Photostream in iPhoto from iPhoto preferences > Photostream.

The iPad 1, coming up on three years since it was introduced, has been given two major and a number of minor upgrades to iOS, more than many tablet manufactures provide. The iPad 1's hardware just can't effectively support many of the features in iOS 6. So I don't think that it's particularly unfair for Apple to no longer provide updates. And yes, I do own and manage a number of iPad 1s.

After reviewing your post, it sounds like the iPhone will turn off after a sync but the iPad will not. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

How Come My iPhone 3G No Longer Shows Up in iTunes?

All of a sudden my iPhone doesn't show up in the iTunes sidebar on my 20" iMac, but using the same cable it does on my MacBook. I have tried plugging it in diretly to the iMac as well as to my Belkin hub, but it no longer shows up in iTunes, nor does it charge when plugged it. The iPhone stays dark when first pluged in.
Does anyone know why when plugging in the iPhone 3G or my iPod Classic (old school) it won't load on the side bar of iTunes? It is like it does not exist. I have done all updates. I restarted my computer a couple of times and finally got the iPod Classic to load but still the iPhone 3G shows nothing. It won';t even boot my phone up to charge it but will the iPod.
I use the iPhone on my MackBook with the same cord and it loads to iTunes and starts to sync. Same with the iPod. Both computers are running the same software. Since it works on the MacBook and use to work on then iMac G5 I am thinking it may have something to do with the updates for iTunes. I use the MacBook to charge the iPhone and iPod sometimes but the main computer for syncing is the iMac. Only nothing seems to work. After restarting the iMac several times the iPod seems to work then not work. I am frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi John, i have my doubt that it has something to do with authorization/deauthorization. I have read somewhere before that the iPhone (not sure about iPod) can only be "paired" with one mac and if you want to synch it with another one, you need to deauthorize the initial one first. Inside iTune up on its menu bar under Store, there are 2 options that said authorize and deauthorize. Now i haven't tried this before as i only got myself one mac, so i have no past experience here with this particular case. May be some other experienced users can shed some light on this and share with us, before you try out?

Whenever I purchased something from the iTunes Store on my iPod Touch it would always appear on our iTunes on the computer. Now it isn't doing that. I've checked for available downloads and it says they're all on the library. Could it be because my Bluetooth is off? Is there something in the settings that needs to be enabled in order for my songs to transfer to iTunes??

How to remove InDesign CC (doesn't show in Control Panel)?

Hello everyone,
I'm having a bit of a challenge.
I started installing CC applications and all went well until I couldn't install Muse CC (I posted it in another post on the forum here but I haven't found anyone with the solution to this one yet...).
Because Muse CC wouldn't install, Adobe guys recommened trying to uninstall all CC apps and CC desktop app and try installing it again. I did that but after uninstalling all CC apps and CC desktop app I was left with InDesign CC, which appears in Start menu but doesn't appear in Control Panel so cannot be removed...
Can anyone help?

You can use the creative cloud cleaner tool to get the uninstall of indesign CC confirmed.

Please let us know if it worked.
Note: if Indesign is not reflecting in control panel, in all probabilities it has been uninstalled, you can try launching Indesign CC from the Start menu , where Indesign is still being shown. If it does not launch then it has been uninstalled.
