How come apps wont update

I just changed my apple ID recently and maybe thats why none of my apps are there( i bought all of my apps with that old apple ID, and i not know the password for that one. Please help me!

Yeah it does ******, he is trying to change his filters and use the larger text and reply snaps, he updated his snapchat for the hope of using those abilities and thinks it didn't work because he can't do them. When really, the update did work and all he needs to do to utilize them is go to his settings and turn them on.

The apps were purchased by another user with a different Apple ID. You will have to erase them and repurchase them using your Apple ID.

Recently my Apple ID was changed from chunkster92 to [email protected] Now my apps wont update because they are looking for my original Apple ID of chunkster92.
When I look at the info block on the apps they indicatre that they are linked to an Apple ID of chucnkster92. Apple wont let you have tan ID thats not an email address anymore. So when the apps are trying to update they are looking for my old account of chunkster92 and not the account name format as Apple wants now of [email protected]
When I look at the apps page in iTunes and selct "all" apps at the top of the page, it indicates at the bottom of the page available. When I try to update the apps the next screen says that there or no updates available. I'm signed into iTunes as [email protected] and not chunkster92 which is the account the apps are looking for.
Short of deleting all 230 apps (I know, I could reduce that number some) and reloading them, how do I change the apps to look for [email protected] or reestablish my old ID of chunkster92?

My iPad 1 apps wont update. It has the loading bar half across the apps but when I click on it it says 'app name' could not be downloaded at this time. I have tryed signing out and back into my Apple account and restarting my iPad but neither worked. The strange thing is the new apps I try to download work fine. Reset your iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
If you continue to have issues, try downloading the apps to iTunes on your computer, then sync your iPhone using iTunes.

Apps wont update on ipad 3

I have a 3 week old Gen 3 ipad 64gb, All of a sudden apps wont update, they just say waiting, I have tried rebooting, as well as deleating and trying to reinstall them. I have logged out and back in again to Itunes/App Store. This unit has pleanty of memory and Is brand new. Any advice?

Try the following:
1. Turn iPad off and on again
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo
3. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings
4. Use iTune (computer) to update/download and sync to iPad

The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...

Whenever I click the setup icon, nothing happens.
Or when I click "Check for updates" in iTunes, nothing happens too.

It seems unlikely that McAfee is causing the damage here. But it may be interpreting the installer damage as indicating an unsafe package. (The damage is causing the file to not be properly digitally signed.)
Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

Apps wont update and cant download anything from Itunes

I've been using my Iphone4 for 10 months now and haven't had any problems. I updated to iOs5 and iOs5.01. I never resorted to jailbreaking it nor would never resort in the future.. I believe in purchasing apps and paying the developers for really good apps. Recently though I've been having trouble updating them. My app store app has a red 10 and i cant update any of the apps that are listed due for updating.. Whenever i try to click on an individual app that has a small progress bar at the bottom the phone will say "unable to download application... *app name* could not be downloaded at this time". I've been trying for a couple of weeks now and was able to update 3 apps.. the others just wont.. I also tried downloading any random app and it didnt work as well. Sometimes i get the message "cannot connect to istore or itunes store" or something like that.. Please help!!!

My Apps wont update auto or Manually

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix an issue with the apps not updating automatically and Manually. Automatic is turned on in settings and i'm on IOS 7.1

In one sense you are correct but updating apps individually seems to be less problematic. Have you tried restarting your iPad? Have you tied a Reset? [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

Ipad2 apps wont update

i kept my apps on pause to let the other app download/update faster, now the paused apps cannot download/update, does anyone know how they can re-download/update it without having to delete the current apps?

As a late convert to Apple I am unimpressed.
I own an IPad it started life with IOS5 it has been updated regularly and was last running IOS 7. then Apple advised that IOS8 was available and advised me to update. Foolishly I did.
I have 8 Apps awaiting update and this cant be done for whatever reason IOS 8 and its patches have killed them off, the apps attempt to update but keep searching which rapidly runs down the battery. Google now hangs or doesn't return to the main page and the device is as slow as. Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to overcome this mess.
I was considering another Apple purchase but that is on hold now Apple appear to have become as mercenary as Microsoft by producing software that doesn't function.

It sounds like you are unable to use 3rd party music apps on your phone after you udpated to iOS 8. I would use the troubleshooting in the following article for each app affected in this way, named:
iOS: An app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open
Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
Update your device software and your apps
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
Update your apps:
Open the App Store and tap Updates.
If updates are available, tap Update All.
If asked, enter your Apple ID password. The updates will download and install.
You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps.Reinstall the app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it. Remember that deleting an app also deletes its data.
Delete the app.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store and download the app again.
Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen.
If the download stops, you can resume it.Contact the developer
If you see the issue again, contact the developer of the app for help:
Find the app in the App Store.
Tap the app and tap Reviews.
