How come I can't access Hotmail account on my Macbook
WHy... It still works on my PC...
but on my mac no...... I did loged in my MSN messenger..
but it didn't work too....

I emailed Microsofts MSN tech support about a week ago because I have the same problem (continuous refresh before returning to login page). They quickly responded saying they were aware of it, and would resolve it 'soon'.
I noticed that it all started when microsoft launched their new 'live login' service for passport, so I guess they have to do some post launch patch ups for us safari/mac users.

Can't access hotmail account from browsing, I tried to log into my hotmail account by visiting www.live.com and log into my account (add e-mail address and password) when sign in i get a message saying:There was a problem establishing asecure connection.( I get two tabs Details and Stop) I click on Detials I get another message saying: server Certificate Error. untrusted certificate,unable to determine the certificate origin, This has been disallowed by your administrator.. Go to Solution.Ggggrrrr, i really hope that's wrong, i would also be moving away from BB sharpish if that's the case. Hoping someone cleverer than me can come up with a solution, the BB manual certainly doesn't help. Like the first poster I have tried getting vodafone to help and also hotmail, both without success.

How come I can't access itunes when i could yesterday? When I hooked up my iphone to sync it asked me to reset phone to factory settings! I don't think so! Then when I tried to download update it won't do it.
On my iPod touch I don't have a spotlight search icon or option available. Also under my settings and general there is no "restriction" options or settings. I reset the iPod several times and that doesn't work.
The thing is the music that is on my iPod is not all in my iTunes library so I can never sync automatically. Also if i restore to factory settings then it will erase what i have on my iPod and not in my library. I always manually add songs. When I plug in my iPod and i go under Summary...the only other tabs are music, tv shows, photos and info. There is no Apps tab. When i plug in my iPhone i do get the apps tab.
I got my iTouch awhile ago....is it possible that this is why i can't get apps?? I got the iTouch back in 2008.
Ughhh this is so frustrating. I just want to get this one app on my iPod Touch. Please help!! -
How come I can't access Facebook with my gmail account?
Along with a couple other sites, I can't access Facebook with my gmail account. I'm on a mac, and even if I use different browsers (safari and google chrome), the page never opens. It consistently says "the connection was interrupted." I've tried everything, including allowing all cookies, deleting cookies, changing firewall settings, etc. However, it's not a problem on my Parallels (on the same computer). The weird thing is my friends with hotmail or yahoo facebook accounts can access the site. Help!

How come I can't access an app I purchased yesterday with my apple id?
I purchased some software for my Macbook pro. I run a dual platform and had to go over to "the dark side" (the Windows side). When I came back and tried to use the app (called "Timing") it asked for my apple id. I put it in, it says "can't authenticate." So, I clicked "forgot" and changed it and STILL I can't log in.
Is this an issue with my application or the itunes store? Is there anyway I can stop this nonsense and start with a "clean slate?" Managing all these passwords is insane, but I try and change them for security. I write them down and track them, but for some reason, this go-round, I cannot get access for this one app.

I have gmail and hotmail account on my macbook.
In gmail I can visualize all the mailboxes but in hotmail i only can see the inbox ¿how can I visualize the rest of the mailboxes?

You should be able to see two different tabs when setting up the email if you go to Other > Add Mail Account. Once you enter in the email address and password, you should be at the next screen to provide more details about the email as far as incoming and outgoing servers and at the top there will be a blue section to add it in as a POP or IMAP email account. Check out the article below for further troubleshooting and emails setup options.

I can't open mail on Hotmail from Firefox. I can from Safari. I can open the Hotmail account page and it is complete w/ my new messages, but when I go to open them I get this messeage..."Please refresh your browser window. Someone hacked my computer and set up a new administrative account by re-registering my computer. I can not access this account nor delete it. How can I fix this and get my computer back to the way it was? And also prevent this from being able to happen again. Not sure why you can't delete that account. If you have admin privileges, you should be able to. Sounds like you only removed the Home Folder for that account.
You should highlight/select the account you want to remove and then click the minus button. Might need to unlock the padlock with your admin password.

When accessing Hotmail account on Apple Air ,any page when fully loaded just goes to a white screen, so no actions can be completed. Account is fine on Imac just Air functionality faulty, any advice

Can mean that your Mac can't find a system folder to boot from.
Try restarting while holding down the Option key. That should prompt the Startup Manager window where you can select the startup disk and restart.
Startup Manager: How to select a startup volume
If the disk is not available, then it's failing or has failed.
If you did not backup your important files, an alternative would be data recovery but it's expensive.

Although I ve been able to reset my password and can now access the account from another device, I can't from my playbook. It doesn't recognise my address/password ( old or new) and after turning the device off and on again, has lost most of my contacts. I've tried removing my email account details and re-installing to no avail. Can anyone help pls?

You said that you removed the account and then re-added it. Have you rebootd the device before re-aading the account, if you have not done so, it is then worth a try
