How come i do not have the ability to delete books movies etc from iphone

i was unable to install or reinstall itunes on home computer after crash so instead i am using laptop running win7 and the most current version of itunes but it wont give me to option to see whats on my phone or delete anything from my phone but i can add things to my phone witch is now full please somebody help

It sounds like you are trying to delete music, movies, and books from your iPhone to free up some space. You don't even need to use iTunes to do this. I found some steps to help with deleting content directly from your iPhone in the iPhone User Guide.
You can find steps to delete a song or album on page 62:
Manually remove a song or album: Swipe sideways across the song or album, then tap Delete.
The steps for deleting a video are on page 78:
Delete a video: Swipe left or right over the video in the list. Deleting a video (other than a
rented movie) from iPhone doesn’t delete it from your iTunes library.
Steps on deleting a book is on page 111:
Delete items from the bookshelf: Tap Edit, then tap each item that you want to delete, so that a
checkmark appears. Tap Delete, then tap Done.
Delete this copy: Removes the item from iPhone, but it still appears on the bookshelf and can be downloaded again.
Delete from all devices: Removes the item from all of your iOS devices and from the bookshelf. You can download it again from Purchases in the iBookstore. See At a glance on page 109.

Did you try to press and hold the home and sleep button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting the device.

It could be as simple as having two different file extentions jpg vs jpeg. As for the emails, that may depend on how you are attaching them to the email.
In most email programs you can open a new document then choose file attach or file import. Former would be attachments or links and the latter would be embedded.
On windows systems you can also send images to the email app, in the explorer right clicking and sending would open a small app that will resize the image to reduce the file size. This app could in theory squish the image.

Thanks for the help...I should have dug a little further and kept reading...I found the answer. I am using Gmail so all I had to do was go into my Gmail account settings and turn off email archiving. Now the default is delete when I edit or swipe.

I have an older Power Mac and it does not have the ability/hardware to connect to my wireless network.It is on 2nd floor which has no ethernet connections available. How can I get connected wirelessly?

I have an older Power Mac desktop computer. I do not believe it has the hardware to connect wirelessly to my wireless network. The computer is located on the 2nd floor of my house where there are no ethernet network connections so I would have to use wireless to connect to the internet. I have a wireless LinkSys router downstairs that I use to create my wireless network. I also have a Time Capsule upstairs but without the ability to plug an ethernet network cable into it, I cannot use it to get internet access t the computer.
What hardware can I add to give me the abiity to connect the Power Mac to my wireless network?
Is there a way perhaps to link routers? IE. Can I somehow have my existing wireless router downstairs connect wirelessly with the Time Capsule upstairs that i could then plug the Power Mac into for connectivity?
Not sure what version of OS this computer is currently using but do know it does not have the newer dual Intel processors. As such I am unable to update to newer OS versions.

You info states you have an older IMac PowerMac, but is also says your OS X version is OS X 10.7.2.
This is not possible. OS X 10.7.2 Lion only runs on Intel CPU Macs.
Please, go up to the Apple symbol in the upper top left of OS X main menu bar. Click the symbol. Then click About this Mac. A popup window appears that gives some basic info. Then, click the More Info button and both post your iMacs complete specs by selecting/highlighting all of the info and copy paste this into a reply to this post, editing out your iMac's serial number. Then update the info you posted in your user profile with some of this new found data for future postings.

ADFUtils + JSFUtils ... how come they're not in the base JDev release?

A question came up from a client the other day, is how come ADFUtils and JSFUtils that appear in many of the Oracle JDev demos aren't included in the base JDev release? They seem like such obvious things to include in a base ADF Faces/RC project and for Oracle to expand upon, yet we currently have to "steal" the code for our own projects and include them.
What are others' thoughts on this? Do you find these 2 classes indispensable for ADF Faces/RC development?

Ah, the ugly can of Java annotation worms. Sure you want to open it? ;)
Personally I'd love to see annotations introduced to masively reduce the complexity of Java JSF beans, and also the Java ADF BC side.
One of the bits I see students really struggle with when teaching JDev is the unnecessary exposed Java methods in the ADF BC classes, such as the EntityImpl getAttrInvokeAccessor, setAttrInvokeAccessor, createPrimaryKey. Beginner non Java students really can only think about objects like POJOs, they struggle when they see lots of framework code added. As such hiding the detail using annotations should in theory make this eaiser.
Regards the backing beans and injecting the binding container, iterator etc. I note between JDev 10.1.3 when it first came out, we were injecting bindings via the faces-config.xml file. This worked badly because new users struggled with getting the config file entries exactly to match the backing bean properties and accessor names.
Then ADFUtils + JSFUtils came along which meant no injection was required, but now people are struggling with what to cast the result to (using something like JSFUtils.resolveExpression). As they don't inherently know the binding classes, what to cast to becomes a problem. The IDE doesn't help with this at all either.
As such with the annotation approach, this would be better as the annotation would take care of returning the correct binding classes. This would take us to the next level. Also as the IDE would inherently know which binding class, then users would be better off in understanding the binding layer classes and which methods to call thanks to the code completion facilities. Of course it means someway of associating a backing bean with a particular page such that the BB knows which binding container to get, which iterators to include etc, and if the binding names are changed in the page def, the BB would automatically change its names (I figure you'd have to do this for beginners, otherwise they'd get confused).
However, I think there is still a need for ADFUtils and JSFUtils even with annotations because there will be times where you want to do something that isn't provided by the annotations.

In order to delete or add individual songs from and to your iPod, you'll need to enable 'manual mode' on the device. This will allow you to add and remove exactly the content you desire.

I do not have the ability to edit my .pdf once converted into a word document. Did I purchase the wrong version?

When I covert my pdf into a word document it does not allow me to edit the actual text. I can add random text to the document, not following the format of the document (not aligned, not the same font, etc.). I can add text, but I cannot what is already in a sentence or paragraph.
Did I purchase the wrong version?

You have the right tool for converting PDF files to Word. For starters, please try triple-clicking in the text block that you want to edit. If that doesn't work, we'll need to take a closer look at how the PDF that you converted was created (did it start out as a scanned document, for example). If it did start as a scanned document, it's important that OCR (optical character recognition) was performed during conversion to convert scanned text to editable text. OCR is on by default when you convert via the ExportPDF website, but can be turned off if you convert via Reader.
If triple-clicking doesn't work, let me know, and then we'll take a closer look at your file.

Are you trying to name a group of numbers you are texting? If that is the case, after much trial an error, I figured it out. The key is, it has to be the done after the first message. Try these steps:
Add all the contacts that you wish to group together
create and send the message
After you have sent your message immediately go to details in the right upper corner
Tap and hold your finger and scroll your finger down
above your first recipient, hopefully, you will see Group Name: enter a Group name
These steps worked for the Iphone 5 and 6.

I am using the Klipsch 4. with the Green and Pink wires.... I have 3 color slots on my sound card holes, Green, Black, Orange.
The default ones do not work.
On my old AMD 3200 with the older platinum pro version before ZS and it had a nice little MICROPHONE option. Which I always worked everytime I started up CS, rebooted, what not. It never changed.Only thing I want my mic for is so I can coordinate on CS when I am not studying in class. CS and alchohol are all I have when I am not being tortured by professors. *cries*
Go easy on the tech talk... I am bad with these creative systems.

Hi Mic: What type of microphone you have? Can you find any device listed on Control Panel/Sounds and Multimedia/Audio/Sound Recording? Check settings there. Have you selected mic as a recording source and enabled the mic as source (mixer app). Try to boost the mic (+ button over mic icon) + 20dB. Other: Is your speakers set to 4. What is CS? .jtp

Thats the thing, In the mixer there is no Microphone option at all...Only the line-in/mic...which doesnt work. But yea I have tried setting that as recording source with the +20db.

The only other devices that are selectable are under Midi playback. Which is set to Synth A. Others are SW synth, Synth B, Midi IO, Midi IO2, and Microsoft GS wavetable SW synth.
I am using Altec Lansing headphones with mic...
Now, it has 2 plugs that extend from them, one is for the headphones the other is for mic. I usually on my friends comp and my old comp plug only the Mic in. That way I wear the headset around my neck with the mic in front of my mouth. Regardless, this SHOULD work always with any computer. Which is why I made the post. I wont be using any other mic cause I need this setup. Not only that I cannot afford to buy another one with college. So I am trying to figure out all problems and solutions possible before I go the route of finding a different microphone.
