I don't get my email notifications unless I go inside my email. Why is that so? Is there a way I can put it so I actually get them in my notifcations?

That means you get a notification when an email arrives in your inbox.
Again does your email provider offer push notification?

I really like my iPhone 4S over the previous device (Blackberry); however, it blows my mind that APPLE can't do a simple fix in the Software to enable a User to set his/her Alarm on the iPhone 4S and also be able to power down the phone to save the battery. Also, I have my mail account set up from my Yahoo! account and every time I open mail, it asks for the password for my Yahoo! account. I have checked save this password to keychain and it persists on popping up repeatedly.

You don't want to disable keychain (if there's even a good way to do so), since it stores stuff like certificates and the such. It's quite useful.
Anyways, Keychains>Preferences>First Aid. Check Set Login Keychain as default. When you login, it unlocks the keychain.

When a stranger's Apple ID appears on your Mac in conjunction with an update for an app that you have never installed, you have a pirated app on your Mac. The pirated app is not the app calling for the update. This pirated app has been cracked with the MAS receipt from usually a free app, often Angry Birds or Twitter, acquired by the person whose Apple ID you see.
You may not have realized that it was a pirated app when you installed it. You may have believed that it was a trail version or a "free" version.
All MAS apps have a MAS receipt in their app bundle. Check any app acquired from the MAS. Right click on the app's icon in your Apps folder and choose Show package contents. In the Contents folder is a _MASReceipt folder and in that folder is the coded MAS receipt. It has the Apple ID of the MAS account that bought/acquired the app from the MAS. It is that receipt that the MAS uses to alert you that an app has an update. There would not be a notice of an update with someone else's Apple ID showing in the MAS on your Mac, if there was not an app with a receipt from this person's account somewhere on your Mac.

This app is easier to use and seems to be more powerful than Spotlight. Open FAF and in the box type _MASReceipt and press Find. It should come up with a list of every app on the Mac with a MAS receipt. Compare the apps with receipts in FAF's list with your purchased apps list in the Mac App Store. Once you have successfully done that you can go ahead and choose Erase and Sync when you plug your iPod in.

No I don't have another computer. I was thinking initially I would put them on my ipad but since I don't have enough gb maybe I can store them in some cloud thing? Are you trying to send by Gmail? Gmail will not accept Numbers 3 documents as attachments. There is some incompatibility in the format.

This freezing reminds me of really old Macs, long ago, in the days of the old-school peripherals like SCSI drives, terminators, scanners and the like. If you had a SCSI conflict, like the wrong device ID's or something, you'd freeze up like that. Back in those days you'd call 800-SOS-APPLE (AAPL?) and they'd run you through disconnecting all your extra hardware - Jaz and Zip drives, CD burners, scanners etc and then eliminate them one by one by adding them incrementally and testing for the freeze/bomb dialog.
But, today we have Firewire and none of those ancient issues (no free lifetime tech support either). My iMac's ports are all full, and I only know which devices are connected when I have to remove something for another device. iSight, scanner, card reader, external hard drive, USB soundsticks, etc. You wouldn't happen to have any SCSI devices hooked up, would you?
Out of curiosity, have you tried a different USB/Firewire port for the hard drive? Or run the hardware test DVD that comes with your computer? This weird freezing seems to suggest a problem with the computer, RAM or network more than a device. Bad devices, in my experience, cause kernel panics, not freezing.

Double click home button for camera to show up (and iPod). Notifications seem to show up on lock screen that way, too.

Some apps crash. If they do, try this, in order.
1. Double click your home button and put your finger on any app and hold for a second. Then delete that app. You're not deleting the app from your phone, so don't worry. Then try opening the app again.
2. If that doesn't work, hold your sleep+home buttons for 10 seconds and don't let go. Ignore the power off message. Then try again.
3. If that doesn't work, delete the app and re-download it. (This will work most of the time)
4. If that doesn't work, download the app on iTunes on your computer and sync it from there.
5. If that doesn't work, wait for an update by the developers.
