How come my iPhone doesn't tilt?

Okay well I have an iPhone 4. The tilting was doing great until one day I had to restore the phone and when I did that I noticed the tilting didn't work, like for games where you turn the phone to move. But what else bothers me is random times when I'm texting the screen turns to horizontal form and it's sideways, like it should be, but then I'll press the home button and then open up the Messaging again and it's no longer horizontal. The portrait orientation is not locked, so don't tell me to unlock it. It bothers me because it would work and now it doesn't. If I have to restore the phone how do I back up everything on it?

Check Settings > General > Usage to display what's taking all your space.

How come messenger info doesn't sync?

In the Address Book; the name, address, email, phone number, picture, all sync. But how come the AIM screen name doesn't sync? It shows up in the Address Book on my Mac, but not in the Contacts on my Touch.

It would appear that Apple, for whatever reason, have decided not to include fields for instant messenger names in the iPod touch Contacts application.
Even if you enter a new Contact on the iPod touch, there is no provision for those fields.

HT4623 how come my iphone wont play certain songs in my itunes library even after i sync the phone?

I just got the iphone 5 and synced all my music from itunes. How come my phone won't play certain songs? It just skips over them. when I play them on my computer, there's no problem?? So frustrating!

So i fixed it by converting each song to a AAC File or whatever. Made a dulicate song but it works, just right click on the song and hit convert to aACC File. For one album I had to right click view in apple store and hit download on the songs that were skipping.

Today I received an email from iCloud that my storage was reduced to the free 5 GB after I had 25 GB of free web space being a former MobileMe customer. But my iPhone tells me that I still have 25 GB of online storage. How come?

I think you will find that they are just a little bit slow at removing your storage, don't worry it will happen sooner or later.

How Come My iPhone 3G No Longer Shows Up in iTunes?

All of a sudden my iPhone doesn't show up in the iTunes sidebar on my 20" iMac, but using the same cable it does on my MacBook. I have tried plugging it in diretly to the iMac as well as to my Belkin hub, but it no longer shows up in iTunes, nor does it charge when plugged it. The iPhone stays dark when first pluged in.
Does anyone know why when plugging in the iPhone 3G or my iPod Classic (old school) it won't load on the side bar of iTunes? It is like it does not exist. I have done all updates. I restarted my computer a couple of times and finally got the iPod Classic to load but still the iPhone 3G shows nothing. It won';t even boot my phone up to charge it but will the iPod.
I use the iPhone on my MackBook with the same cord and it loads to iTunes and starts to sync. Same with the iPod. Both computers are running the same software. Since it works on the MacBook and use to work on then iMac G5 I am thinking it may have something to do with the updates for iTunes. I use the MacBook to charge the iPhone and iPod sometimes but the main computer for syncing is the iMac. Only nothing seems to work. After restarting the iMac several times the iPod seems to work then not work. I am frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi John, i have my doubt that it has something to do with authorization/deauthorization. I have read somewhere before that the iPhone (not sure about iPod) can only be "paired" with one mac and if you want to synch it with another one, you need to deauthorize the initial one first. Inside iTune up on its menu bar under Store, there are 2 options that said authorize and deauthorize. Now i haven't tried this before as i only got myself one mac, so i have no past experience here with this particular case. May be some other experienced users can shed some light on this and share with us, before you try out?

Forms Central works great from a PC, but when I try and load the sign in page using my iPhone, it tries to load a page, gets half way, then a new web address comes up, tries to load that page, and goes back and fourt and is stuck in a loop. What's happening?

"All" is pretty comprehensive. And if you have truly tried "all" there is no chance of ever making it work - by definition. So we can't really give you any advice.
If you tell us what you have tried perhaps someone can think of something you missed. As a start, have you reviewed the Kbase articles on the subject?

I have an iPad mini and enabled LTE on my device. For some reason it only shows 4G. I know I can get LTE because I have it on my iPhone 5.

Call your Cellular service provider and work with them... You've either exceeded your data limits, they are restricting your device's access to the slower 4G network or you don't have LTE turned on in your Settings - Cellular section.

How come ipod touch doesn't have a radio app?

I have come to a realization that my current ipod touch, a 64gb 4th generation ipod touch doesn/t have a radio app. unlike my mother's ipod nano which has a radio app. i am confused as why some apple products have radio apps by default and not all apple products have a radio app? it would be handy to have.

I believe, if I am right, that the headphone jack on the iPod Shuffle is made diffrently. When you plug in the headphones in to an iPod Shuffle, the headphones end up becoming an antenna for the iPod. Thus, why it won't work with out it. The iPod Touch is not made so that the headphones do that.
