Apps are always associated with the Apple ID that was used to purchase them. This cannot be changed. To avoid getting the request you are seeing delete all apps that request the former Apple ID and download them again.
Any apps for which you paid a fee will require that you purchase them again.

Yep, there seems to be an issue with this. In addition to getting that error on my iTunes on my PC, I get an error when trying to update apps on my iPhone 5.

If it has run for 3 hours it's probably done and you can quit Migration Assistant and reboot the new computer. In the future rather than using Migration Assistant I would recommend using Startup Assistant which tends to be a bit more reliable and does not create a new user account as MA does. Hello, I recently tried to buy Napoleon: Total War, but cannot. I have enough money and my apple ID is valid but something is wrong. Every time I click on the buy button under the app, it asks me for my billing info, as per usual. Then it brings me to a screen with my billing info and everything is OK (yes, I selected no credit card). After I click 'OK' to the billing, it asks me if I would like to continue with my purchase, so I click 'buy', then the process repeats itself. It asks for my password, the billing info, and so on and so forth.
This was never happened before and is extremely frustrating. Not only is the app expensive but I can't even download it!
Please help.

How much credit do you have in your account? How much does the game cost? Is this in the US store? US store prices do not include local sales taxes. If you do not have enough in your account's balance to cover both the cost of the game and the local sales taxes that are added to the sale in the final steps of the purchase, the system will ask for a credit card to cover the remaining balance due on the sale.

You Apple ID is not tied to a free account. The only way to create a free account is by downloading iTunes to your computer, then go to the App store with in iTunes, find a free App then click on the word free. There it will prompt you to enter your Apple ID or create an account. Select create an account. From there you can move forward with creating a free account. Next to the Credit card (on the second page of the set up) options will be a Free Box instead. Let me know if you need help with how to make your current account free. What do you currently use you Apple ID to do?

Is this a new account? Even though its a free app the account holder needs to be verified by a verifiabel payment method. Once the account is created, you can remove the info.

Tried to download the newest version of itunes (10.4) but it says I don't have APPDATA. HELP?!

I tried to download the newest version of itunes but then it says that it couldn't since it couldn't locate the APPDATA, I even went to the point of downloading the itunes all over again, but it still hasn't done anything to help. Anyone have any ideas to try or any solutions?

This is probably due to a corrupt setting for %APPDATA% in the registry.

Ever since the iTunes update it has not worked at all for me. So I uninstalled and tried to reinstall but it will not let me. I always get this pop up "The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\Program Files\iTunes. The installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator". I am logged on as the administrator and I have turned off my antivirus. Somebody please help!
