How come my lockscreen is unresponsive? plus when it works on the rare occasion, it works fine but im always second guessingmyself if i should lock it or not. i have tried restarting it plenty of times and nothing is changing. help!
Every time I turn my phone on the lock screen won't slide and it has become more frequent and lasts longer. I thought nothing of it at the time because I would just have to wait 10 minutes or so for it to start sliding again. But recently it wouldn't slide for 5 hours. I tried charging it, restarting it but no luck. The rare occasions it does work and I get to the home screen and my apps, it works perfectly. Its only the lock screen that is unresponsive. It's not frozen because the time continues and notifications and texts still pop up. I'm so her confused please help!
Options:
1. Back up your phone to iTunes
2. Then reset to factory settings
3. Check if the problem happens before you load your backup or any apps or other content

Reinstall the app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it. Remember that deleting an app also deletes its data.
Delete the app.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store and download the app again.
Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen.
If the download stops, you can resume it.
If the issue persists, then you may want to try and sync the application to your iOS device using your computer by following the information in this article, under the section "Download previous purchases on Mac or PC":

I keep on getting download problems from both app store as well as from icloud.
I have tried to reinstall some programs but they keep on failing to download.
I have this problem for both my ipad 2 as well as my iphone 5. I currently live in italy and have checked whether i have problems with local router but everything checks out.
I have tried both resetting iphone and ipad, restarting them both etc but nothing helps. Do you know whether there are any issues with app store or icloud in the last 4days.

I realized there was an Apple store on my way home from the trip I was leaving for so I decided to stop in. I waited 20 minutes for the next Genius so I wandered the mall and played with the iPad. No big deal. It took less than ten minutes for the person helping me to confirm there was a problem and swap the iPhone for a new one and send me on my way. I got home, connected it to iTunes and restored from the last backup (after uploading the photos I'd taken since then to my Mobileme account!). No problem whatsoever.
I'm really glad I decided to go that route instead of taking it to Verizon.
It's been two months and I've not had a single problem since.

I cannot get iTunes to load -- "Apple Application Support was not found". I have tried multiple things to fix it and nothing works including re-installing.
Try b noir's post Standalone Apple Application Support install to see if that can repair the problem or provide futher information, otherwise try reinstalling again as shown in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

after i updated my iphone 5s to iOS 8.3 , i downloaded a game that took all the storage away . the problem is that , when it delete the game , the storage doesn't expand, it sticks to 0 bytes. i tried to delete more apps , the problems still persists. once i go to gallery , and try to delete a picture or video , the gallery app crashes instantly. i tried to fix the problem by restarting the phone several times , and it doesn't seem to fix the problem. i need a solution to my problem , and if anyone can help , i would be grateful. i can't take pictures or save up anything anymore , and can't seem to check up on my msgs that i receive. My laptop opened with a grey flashing file folder with a question mark inside it . How do I open my laptop! I have tried force closing several times and restArting nope ! nada! Suggestions?
That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the Operating System data on the hard drive is somehow corrupted.
With 10.4, 10.5 or 10.6 put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
Or if you are running 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion or 10.9 Mavericks, boot from the recovery partition (Command +R on boot) and use Disk Utility to repair your OS 10.7, 10.8 or 10.9 partition.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Disk Utility and click it. When it comes up is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is, then click on the Mac OS partition of your hard drive in the left hand list. Then select the First Aid Tab and run Repair Disk. The Repair Disk button won't be available until you've clicked on the Mac OS partition on your hard drive. If that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions. After repairing use Startup Disk from the same menu to choose your hard drive for restarting from your hard drive.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead. -

Your nano would really have nothing to do with it at that point. It is really something between iTunes and whatever server out there on the internet that it is trying to connect to for the update.
Try posting this one in the iTunes forum, they might have a solution for you.

You have a special folder on your computer to share files between user accounts. That folder is "Shared" and it's located in Users folder. Just put here the files you want to share and you will be able to access to them from all your users

I just sign in to my account (the oprevious one, with which I bought Pixelmator was hacked and I changed the Password)
Now,anityme I try to update Pixelmator (V. 2.1) the app store tells me "To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it."

Thanks for your help.It used to be that Spotlight had to create an index for the boot volume with the /Applications folder in order for the App Store Update option to work properly. I had a habit of disabling Spotlight for all volumes by adding disk volume names to the Do Not Index list under the Privacy tab in the Spotlight System Preferences panel, so App Store never let me update apps until I turned Spotlight back on. I turned it on until I was able to update the apps, then I'd turn it off again.
I'm currently faced with the same error message (Login with the account you used to buy the free package) but Spotlight is turned on. Apple really goes out of its way to not tell you what account you used to buy something. That's not supposed to be a big deal, I only have a couple accounts. But when I tried them all, App Store refused to let me update using ANY of them.
It's just Xcode. I can just delete the darn thing and buy it again (all 4 GB of it), but this is really annoying!
