I downloaded creative cloud for my mac pro and now the premiere pro is not downloading

Are you saying that you can see Premiere Pro in the Cloud app but it won't download?
Or can you not see Premiere Pro for download at all?
Premiere Pro is 64 bit only software so check that you have a 64 bit computer and 64 bit operating system otherwise you won't be able to download it or install it.

First, AVCHD isn't just "one" clip, it splits the video & audio into several files each per clip, typically with randomly generated names. The only way they "play" correctly is if the software doing so is able to read from the data file ...in a different folder ... the information that X clip is actually A, B, D, #@, and 456 video clips and TR, #r54, and ert$%4 audio clips. The next "clip" is ... and on and on. So both rapid access to the video files AND that database file are necessary to play the files back, or do anything else with them.
VLC is a fairly decent but simple playback tool. It's nowhere near as complicated nor demanding in its "relationship" with those clips as an NLE like PrPro, which will be trying to do more reading & writing.
Further, many of the preferences in PrPro are natively set so that it writes project, cache, preview, & database files next to the footage. So ... if it doesn't have both a fast enough connection with the data AND space for putting all of it's own stuff there, it tells you it can't work the file.
Therefore ... the need to have the complete data from the card in the exact same folder structure it was in ON the card copied to a "local" hard drive.

I tried to use free trial of Adoebe Premiere pro, so I downloaded Creative cloud.
But when I logged into Creative Cloud to download it, I couldn't find "Premiere Pro" on the list of apps in Creative Cloud.
Can you tell me how can I find Premiere Pro app and start to use free trial?

HELP! Premiere pro could not retrieve the 'my documents' folder location?!

I just installed Creative Cloud and downloaded Premiere CS6.
When I start it, I get two dialogue boxes saying the same thing...
"adobe premiere pro could not retrieve the 'my documents' folder location. The application will make use of a temporary folder for this session..."
When I then go to export to Media Encoder, it crashes repeatedly.
I am unable to find the My Documents folder on my system - it's a new system and must have been set up strangely.
Can someone please help here as I am unable to run my video editing business when I can't export files!

How to Reinstall Premiere Pro

I had Premiere installed on my old computer. I uninstalled it while troubleshooting my new computer. Now I can't reinstall it. I keep getting this error message.
"Adobe Premiere Pro Startup Error ..Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any valid editing modes. Please reinstall Adobe Premiere Pro and start again."
I've tried to reinstall it several times.

Premiere cc 2014 crash with message "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again."

I updated to Premiere Pro CC 2014, all the other Adobe CC 2014 software works great, but Premiere doesnt even load. The starting page (frame) comes up - my whole computer slows down and after a minute or two it crashes completely and comes up with the message : "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please go to the following location and rename the folder to old_folder name
User/user library/Application Support and rename Adobe folder
User/user library/Preferences and rename the Adobe folder
Then go to Documents folder and Go to Adobe/Premiere pro/8.0 and rename 8.0 folder
Make sure that you are in user library if you are not sure check the link below.

How much does Premiere Pro and After Effects rely on the hard drive it's installed on?

This may be a really dumb question, but how much does Premiere Pro and After Effects rely on the hard drive it's installed on if all your video files, assets, disk cache, etc are on different drives than the one the program itself is installed on?
The reason I am asking is that I currently have a "relatively" slow Sata II SSD for my C drive that has just my OS (windows 7 64bit) and programs (adobe editing programs, no games) installed on it and nothing else. All of the files used in my projects are saved on either a very fast Sata III SSD or a slower HDD depending on what the files are. For example, disk cache on the Sata III, stills on the HDD.
Being cyber monday I have the opportunity to buy another very fast Sata III SSD to replace my current Sata II SSD C Drive (just OS and programs). Both synthetic and real world benchmarks show a near double in performance. I just want to know if anyone thinks the upgrade is even worth it because for all I know there won't be any increase in performance since no videos, still, cach, etc will be stored on the C Drive.
The alternative is to get a second monitor because I currently only use one 21" monitor.
I suppose another alternative would be to not buy anything on the cyber monday deals and just save money for something else.
Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks Alex! I think you are right about not being able to notice the difference between the SSDs. I ended up finding a deal to get about $80 off a great monitor that I've been looking at for a while and decided to pull the trigger on it. I thought about it and realized that there have already been a bunch of times where I want to watch a tutorial on youtube and follow allong in AE or PrePro, but have to keep switching windows. I also frequently want to have my video preview on a separate monitor so I can have a taller timeline window. This monitor will help a lot with that. Thanks again for your help!

I have used Premiere Pro CS6 as a Creative Cloud Version on my PC with windows xp. After upgrading to Windows 7 Premiere Pro is not longer available in Creative Cloud Desktop App because it is an older PC with 32bit-system. I have read that ist should be possible to install a former version but I haven't found out how it wörks. I'd like to install Premiere Pro CS6 on my windows-7-PC (32-bit-system).
