How come when I go to download more adjustment brushes in lightroom4 .. There are none to download?
Lightroom4 adjustment brush problem
The names of the apps are the names of theapps that I downloaded and paid for originally.
The only account name that is there is my account name. The one that I use and have used for 9 years.
This has only been a problem recently. A few months ago I was able to update my apps, but not any more because I still get the message about signing into the account that it was purchased from.
One more thing . . . If I am in the app store and I hit the, “Purchases”, link, all of th apps that I bought are there with the link on the right hand side that gives me the ability to ugrade, which, as I have said, keeps telling me to sign in to the original account.

I installed the latest version of 1Password 3.6.5 but its extension is incompatible with Firefox 3.6.2. It wants Firefox 4 or 5. The 1Password extension does work, however, on my Safari 5.1 browser. I want 1Password on both browsers but Firefox is preventing this due to inability to automatically update to Firefox 4 or 5. That option is checked in the Firefox preferences.
If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

That is probably because you never closed the program. It keeps running in the background. To close it completely, open Safari, go to the Safari tab on top of e screen and select Close...

Hi. Usually when I download an app it always asks me for my password before it begins to download. But this time I can just download without them asking for my permission. How do I change that?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Thank you for your responses.. To Sjazbec, At least you guys in Germany and the Netherlands have some kind of posters from Apple to let you know that the feature is not available.
There is no such warning on the Irish Apple site.!
My point was that, I would not have even considered trying to reorganize my itunes library had I known that the feature is not available in Ireland.
And that falls into the domain of Apple Ireland advertising.. which I"m sorry to say is false and misleading.
There are no "posters" telling the Irish customer that icloud / itunes music is not available!
I"m not blaming Apple for not "having the feature" in Ireland.. I am upset at them for falsing advertising a feature that they cannot for whatever reason deliver to Irish customers..

Some apps crash. If they do, try this, in order.
1. Double click your home button and put your finger on any app and hold for a second. Then delete that app. You're not deleting the app from your phone, so don't worry. Then try opening the app again.
2. If that doesn't work, hold your sleep+home buttons for 10 seconds and don't let go. Ignore the power off message. Then try again.
3. If that doesn't work, delete the app and re-download it. (This will work most of the time)
4. If that doesn't work, download the app on iTunes on your computer and sync it from there.
5. If that doesn't work, wait for an update by the developers. -
How come when I try to look at my photos in iphoto a triangle comes out with an exclamation mark? Does this mean that I have lost all of my photos? Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks to all...It means that iPhoto has broken the link/file path to the original file.
Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
