How come when I open app store it pushes my emial?
My notifications are set to manual, every time I open ap store it pushes my mail. anybody know why?

Have you tried deletting the plists for MAS?

My app store won't work on my iPod Touch 4gen running on ios 6.1.5 and when I open app store it says "cannot connect to iTunes Store" i shut my ipod down and turned it back on but it still dosn't work but it will open on my Mac Book Air. If sombody could tell me how to fix this that would be awesome!

Updates come through Software Update not the App Store. If you have to reinstall Lion that is done via Internet Recovery.

Try opening Safari in 32-bit mode for Pogo. Right or control click the Safari icon in the Applications folder, then click: Get Info In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle next to General so it faces down. Select 32 bit mode. Also, (in that same window) make sure Safari is NOT running in Rosetta.
Relaunch Safari.
If that doesn't help, go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop. Relaunch Safari. If it's a successful launch, then that .plist file needs to be moved to the Trash. Relaunch Safari.

Open Sysem Preferences from your Apple () menu top left in your screen then select the Firewall tab.
Make sure the Firewall is turned off. -

Check Safari/Preferences/General/Safari opens with -try setting it to new window.

When I open App Store to do 5 updates on other apps, there is an app there that is frozen and I can not get rid of it doing my normal practice....touching blank area of screen and app goes away....not today tho....any suggestions to fix ? Oh yea, I upgraded to latest IOS today on my IPad !! Thank you all for any help you can give.
Close the App Store completely and reset your iPad.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the App Store app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
Ask to log in when I open app store
Almost every time I open app store on my iPad it asks me to log in. How do I stop it? It never used to happen. It happens weather or not I have it saved in general of settings. App store still loads weather or not I log in. Hit cancel it still loads. Log in and hit ok it still loads too.

There do seem to be issues with the Update screen in the App Store at the moment. I close the app from the multitasking tray and re-open it, which usually works. Hopefully Apple will fix this issue.

I can not open app store i have snow leopard but for some reason when i open app store it crashes

First I'd recommend following the instructions in this Update Process link. Next download (or redownload if you have already) the 10.6.8 Combo Update. You can find it at:

That is probably because you never closed the program. It keeps running in the background. To close it completely, open Safari, go to the Safari tab on top of e screen and select Close...

It's not French but pseudo-latin placeholder text commonly used to such purposes. You just replace it with your own text. It is assumed that authors can figure out for themselves what it is they want to write.
