OCA11g to OCP 11g certification !

I have completed my OCA 11g certification. I would like to go for 11g OCP (i.e. IZO-053)
The constraints for 11g OCP are that candidates must complete one of the instructor-led online or in class courses below

SatishRightly or wrongly, as far as i know some WDP providers are provding WDP courses at 11g ... this may only be in some countries. (I think WDP only provides Oracle Database 11g: Administration Workshop I and II), but WDP programme can be a law unto itself). It may be an eligible 11g SQL is now available via WDP ... which might make a mockery of hands on training).
( My understanding back a few years ago at 9i WDP has to complete a complete end-to-end training track .... he width of the training perhapa compensating for possibly more guarenteed quality training from OU.
Anyway to answer your question .... a 10g course will not be acceptable for 11g DBA certification. (However in general most 11g courses should be acceptable for 10g DBA or 9i DBA certification).

The OCP files are created during OFFLINE Migration. In SQl Developer click on Tools -> Migration -> Create Database Capture Scripts. Choose an output directory, make sure to select the correct platform (Windows) and select MS SQl Server from the drop down list.
You'll get in the directory specified earlier the batch and OCP files required to create the source model using the offline method.

If you're already 10gOCA, I would suggest you to become 10g OCP and take an upgrade exam to become 11g OCP

Suggest that you start by configuring hte AirPort Express to "join" the wireless network that is being provided by the Netgear router.
In order to do this, you must provide the AirPort Express with the exact information that it needs to be able to join the network. This includes:
Name of the wireless network
Exact type of wireless security that the router is using
Password for the wireless network
I'm sure that you know the name of the wireless network and the password, but do you know the exact type of wireless security setting that the Netgear router is using? You may need to get into the configuration pages for this information.
Hopefully, it will be WPA2 Personal, or WPA/WPA2 Personal, which the AirPort Express can match. If you see something like WPA-PSK-TKIP or WPA-PSK-AES, then things get more complicated, likely requiring some trail and error.
Once you have the wireless security settings in hand, you are ready to follow Apple's step by step setup for the AirPort Express using the AirPort Utility application on your Mac.
When you have the Express configured, you will already know how to setup the TC, since it will be configured exactly the same way with the same information.
This assumes that you want the TC to connect using wireless only.
It would be much easier to setup the TC to connect to the Netgear router using an Ethernet cable. You will be able to backup to the TC using the Netgear wireless network. Can you consider that option?

if the ILT material that you have has the same objetives
according to the exam, it is going to be enough. I am OCP DBA9i and I took my courses in Oracle University and apart from that Now I am trainner in Oracle University and I know a lot about Oracle Test for geting the certifies.

the best preparation is to use LabVIEW. Try to understand how the functions work. Work with Graphs and Charts. Understand how loops are working, when and why they stop and ... .
You should also use the forums search, there are a lot of threads about certification.

How to prepare for ABAP certification?

Hi,
I'm currently pursuing my ABAP certification. I've completed the training course and I've started to prepare for the certification. I've heard from a lot of people that the certification exam is really tricky and difficult to get through. A lot of well prepared people whom I've known, have failed to clear the exam. I'm not sure as to how the preparation should be. Do I complete the topics with higher weightage first and then move on to the lesser ones (or) do I just go through the topics as per the order in the training material???
I need your guidance as to how to prepare effectively for this certification.
Any other suggestions apart from the two mentioned would be greatly appreciated.

OCP 9i Certification Hands On Requirement

I have done all the exams for Oracle 9i certification (OCP) track and want to do the Hangs On Requirement course. Could somebody let me know whether there are other Oracle partners/etc (other than doing it from Oracle) that I can go to, to complete my certification. Please let me know the web addresses if known. Expand Database, expand Oracle9i Database Administrator Certified Professional
Look through the list, check schedule for your area.
The Hands On Course must be an official Oracle University course. However, there are a lot of Oracle Partners who delver it in various areas.
You can NOT take a course designed by another company and have that accredited.

Regarding OCP 11g certification?

As per oracle programmer, I passed out 1Z0-052 and 1Z0-052. I got a certificate of OCA. Recently i jut appeared for 1Z0-053 but unfortunately i fail that exam. there is one question 1) Is there any scope to Oracle oca? and is he consider as oracle dba or not ? . 1) Oracle Database 11g: Administration I | 1Z0-052 - (Oracle Certified Associate) / You could be a Junior DBA (as said Hemant) . This is the first step in certification and usually involves taking a couple of exams.
2) OCP is Oracle Certified Professional and needs you to be an OCA, take a few more exams and attend a course at an Oracle university campus.

I am assuming you intend to appear for the exam in India. Earlier, you required your employer to sponsor your exam. You could not directly appear for the exam without first appearing for the certification course. But things could have changed now.
