How Consolidated Master Data Gets Linked to the Transactional Data?

Hi,
Suppose we have three legacy systems holding customer master data. We fetch the data from these three systems into MDM and consolidate the records. Let's say there were three customer master records:
CUST123, John James, 123 Elm Street
CT00123, James, John, 123 Elm St.
0000123, John James, 123 Elm Street.
We merge them in MDM and create one record
NEWCUST123, James, John, 123 Elm Street
Question is: How the transactional data from the three legacy system will be mapped to this new customer master record? How the purchase orders will know that CUST123 is now NEWCUST123 ? When this mapping happens in a project and who does that?

HI,
I agree with Anil on that,it is the same reason for which few projects have key mapping repository in place,which holds the key field mapping information telling them that this Customer number means this in the Legacy system.
Well manual intervention is required as PR/PO which is active should be closed before such an activity.

How to find out Invalid Materials in the transaction data.

Hi Gurus,
We have a requirement as mentioned below, please suggest how to achieve this.
Requirement: A new query that will show which Transaction data records have been loaded into BI with invalid materials.
We have an infoobject called ZEPMPROD, which contains all VALID materials. And we have a cube ZRREUC16 which have COPA transaction data. So we would need to say that if there is a transaction data Record in cube (ZRREUC16), where the material in the transaction record is not found in ZEPMPROD, or where the material is not active (ZEPMPROD- ZEPMFLAG NE u201CAu201D), then those records need to be shown in the report.
0Material is an attribute of ZEPMPROD and 0Material is in ZRREUC16 cube also.

Thanks for the response. I have tried the steps you mentioned, report is dispalying data but there are some common entries, the entries that are present in ZEPMPROD also showing in the report. Although filter is ZEPMPROD=#.
But we need only those Materials that are present in the cube(ZRREUC16) but not present in ZEPMPROD.

You will Not be able to get rid of it entirely...
Other is usually around 1 GB...
A ' Large Other ' usually indicates Corrupt Data...
First Try a Restore from Backup...
But... if the Large Other Persists, that is an Indicator of Corrupt Data in the Backup...
Then a Restore as New is the way to go...

The "other" data on my iPhone 4 is currently taking up 4.5 gb of my 6.4 gb phone. As you can see I'm not very happy about this. I am basically limited too about ten apps and I cannot download iOS 7 due to my lack of storage. I was wondering if there were any ways to get rid if the "other" data without resetting my iPhone. I cannot reset my iPhone because my family has a shared data plan and a limited amount of storage to back up to on iCloud. We don't have enough storage on iCloud to backup the 5.8 gb I'm using because of the other data. Any help?

At first the customer no is picked from the receiving plant in Define Shipping data from plant.
In the customer data, against the sales area you get the shipping condition.
The following path gives u the shipping point:
Logistics Execution>Shipping>Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination-->Assign Shipping Points
Loading grp , Trans.Grp will be taken from Material Master.

How do I submit a correction to the mapping data?

I live next door to a '4WD track' that is inaccessible to cars (and most 4WD's!), yet the mapping data on Nokia handsets shows this track as a road - we've had numerous people using the GPS on their Nokia trying to get up the track with a car an either a) getting stuck or b) having to reverse all the way back down the track (being a track there is no where to turn around).
How do I submit a correction to the mapping data to flag this track as inaccessible and prevent more cars from following the GPS up the track?

Also when I tried to update my MYSQL connector / J driver to version 5.1.5 from 5.0.5 (NB 5.5.1) and 5.0.7 (NB 6.1), I could not get it work (looooong time to search some JDBC classes and with no response in the end) on both of my Netbean 5.5.1(on PC) and Netbean 6.1(on laptop) IDEs.
Could anybody look into this issue.

How do I use AppleScript to Change the Creation Date to the Current Date?

I sorted my downloads folder by creation date and found that the items were sorted seemingly randomly. On closer inspection, I saw that the creation dates were not the same as the dates that I downloaded the items, so I figures that Snow Leopard was using the date given to it by the server.
In order to get the items sorted by download date, I figured I'd use Hazel, but it doesn't have a “change creation date” item. It does, however, have an “run AppleScript” item.
So my question is this: how do I use AppleScript to change the creation date of an item to the current date?

For Purchase order (Message control using EDI and message type ORDERS) STEPS
Settings to be done in the Sending system
From NACE
Choose Application EF ( Purchase order), press on condition record
Output type NEU Purchase order / double click ;choose Purchasing output determination:Doc type/purc org/vendor . Key in the data (Purchasing doc type NB, Purc organisation 0001, Venor vendor11) execute. Key in the data (vendor vendor11, name name1, partner function - VN, Partner Vendor11,Medium 6 (EDI), time 4(send immediately), language EN).
Press on output types , choose NEU Purchase order, double click, Access sequence 0001(doctype/purcorg/vendor) tick mark the access to condition, go to default values (dispatch time send immediately, Transmission medium EDI, Partner function VN)
Create RFC destination from SM59 (ZNARA_ALE_EDI).
Create a port from ZNARA_ALE.
Create partner profile vendor11 under LI and not LS. PARTNER NUMBER SHOULD BE SAME AS THAT OF VENDOR SET IN THE CONDITION TYPE.
In the outbond parameters of the partner profile Vendor11 key in the data (Reciever port -> ZNARA_ALE,
Basic type ORDERS05, Message type ORDERS ) Go to the message control and key in the data (Application EF, Message type NEU, Process code ME10, Transfer immediately )
Create a purchase order from ME21 with data (Purchasing doc type NB, Purc organisation 0001, Venor vendor11). System will generate an outbond Idoc automatically which can be seen from WE02.

To transfer the idoc from Client 555 to 500

We lost the data from production. We ran Archive program to archive the data and archiving file is still exist.
There is no possibliity to run the OUTBOUND process again to create the IDOCs.
But only my concern is When we run the Transaction SARA we will be getting the data for other period as well.
But I need to reload the data for three months only because that archiving file also has other period data as well.
Can you send me details of how to use SARA Transaciton for particular period.

Back up all data, then boot from your recovery partition (command-R at startup), launch Disk Utility, select your startup volume, and run Repair Disk (not Repair Permissions.) If any problems are found, repeat. Then reboot as usual.
