How coordinate color in Adobe apps?

I want synchronized color in several Adobe apps. I tried with ID CS4 and Bridge CS4 in the final Tiger.
In ID I go Edit>Color settings and make choices. But above that window, it says colors are "unsynchronized," then suggests I select "Suite Color Settings" in Adobe Bridge.
In Bridge, Edit>Creative Suite Color Settings, is says that "Suite Color Management is not enabled" and advises me to launch a "qualifying product at least once to enable this feature."
What is the qualifying product.
How do I complete this loop?

Do you have a Creative Suite Package or individually purchased softwares
Individually. I may be stuck. But let's see if anyone else replies. One step
at a time. Thank you.

  • How can I deactivate Adobe apps that were installed on a computer that is no longer available?

How can I deactivate Adobe apps that were installed on a computer that is no longer available? I have a Creative Cloud membership, and I want to deactivate a device that is no longer available. I would have thought that there would be an option to deactivate all devices somewhere in My Account, but I can't find it.

    Hi acornies,
There is no such option readily available under which you are able to deactivate the product on all the devices . As per the EULA , you are able to install the product on two machines only and once you try to have the product installed on a third machine that would provide you with an error message and an option to deactivate the products on all the previous installation .
So , if the machine that you would be installing the product onto is going to be your third machine , you will be getting an error message that you have reached your activation limit and there would be a button to click on continue to deactivate all the prev installation .
Please let me know if this works for you .

  • How do I move Adobe apps to another monitor in Mavericks?

Hi guys, sorry if I'm being obtuse, but since upgrading to Mavericks the one issue I can't seem to figure out is how to completely move my adobe apps across to another monitor.
The problem is now that apps like Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and the like- those with free floating palettes, seem to be stuck on my little 13.3 inch macbook screen unless I move each palette individually to the big screen, but then the menu bar remains on the little MBP screen. If I do anything to the workspace it all then snaps back to the little screen. In ML it seemed to treat the large screen as the primary display automatically and so this was never a problem.
I've let Adobe CC update everything, added mavericks updates, etc but still not having any luck. So far the only option i've found is to mirror the displays, which, honestly, defeats the purpose.
Is there anything I can do? This is a huge workflow issue for me because I do a lot of work on my macbook while connected to a 23" Samsung display via thunderbolt/DVI adapter. I love the size and weight of the smaller macbook but as a primary screen, 13.3 inches just isn't as comfortable to work on as 23 inches

I have this same problem. The other day I solved it using CfMcBlob's first solution, and I was very pleased. However, the problem is happening again with InDesign, but this time I can't try the same solution because "Displays have separate Spaces" is already unchecked.
Just to reiterate, I can drag my workspace window to my second monitor, but all of the tools and top menu stay over on my first monitor. I know that the "actual menu" has to stay on one monitor, but indesign has a top bar with several tools in it that I use all the time, and I'm having to go back and forth. When I first solved this problem, the entire window with the menu bar and tools would open on my other monitor.
Also, I do not want the second solution, because I still use many applications on my original monitor, and I don't want to lose having the "real" top menu here on the left.
    Thanks in advance!

  • How Do I Remove Adobe App Manager--Not a CC Subscriber

I want to get rid of AAM because I'm not a subscriber to the Creative Cloud and never will be.  According to the following, the AAM is for the Creative Cloud now when before it used to be for the Creative Suite applications.
"Adobe Application Manager is required on your computer, as long as you have other Creative Cloud applications. Adobe Application Manager performs multiple functions within all of the Creative Cloud products. Adobe Application Manager is automatically removed when you uninstall all Adobe Creative Cloud products. Upon removal of the last product, the Adobe Application Manager is uninstalled."
Obviously I can't remove the AAM if I'm not a Cloud subscriber.  The AAM does not list all of my applications, shows apps are up to date when they aren't, and one shows as a trial even though I recently upgraded it.  Obviously with Adobe's rush decision to change everything, the AAM is not functioning properly and I have no need to use it anymore.  By the way, when I clicked Help with the AAM, it took me to the following link assuming I'm a Cloud user.  Nice try Adobe, but I won't subscribe.
    Source:  http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-creative-cloud-installation-download .html#removing_creative_cloud

    Hi William,
AAM will be uninstalled once you remove all the Creative cloud/CS6 applications from your system. When you will remove the last Adobe application from your machine AAM will be removed as well.
As per the link provided by you here are the steps which are mentioned to uninstall AAM:
Remove or uninstall Adobe Application Manager
Adobe Application Manager is required on your computer, as long as you have other Creative Cloud applications. Adobe Application Manager performs multiple functions within all of the Creative Cloud products. Adobe Application Manager is automatically removed when you uninstall all Adobe Creative Cloud products. Upon removal of the last product, the Adobe Application Manager is uninstalled.
Important:  Adobe offers a Cleaner Tool, which removes the database entries but not the physical files associated with the installation.  Run the program uninstallers to remove all components.
Remove Creative Cloud on Mac OS
    Double-click your hard drive.
Go to Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers.
Run all of the Adobe uninstallers to remove all of the Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
    Remove Creative Cloud on Windows
    Click Start > Control Panel.
    Click Programs and Features.
Select a Creative Suite application and click Uninstall.
Repeat step 3 for all Creative Cloud applications.
    Thanks

  • How can I publish an App to a selceted group of people without using the Adobe Contetn Viewer?

How can I publish an App to a selected group of people ( not via App Store) without using the Adobe Content Viewer?
The App was developed with InDesign 6.0

You'd have to sign up for an Apple Developer account and then gather all the UDID's (Apple limits this to only 100 devices) that you want your app to be installed on. Create your mobile provisioning profiles to include these ID's and then you could use TestFlight to push out your app and monitor who has installed it. Of course Testflight is intended for monitoring your apps performance but I'm sure you can get away with it if you use it to push you app. One thing to keep in mind is the mobile provisoning profiles are only valid for 1 year. Hope this helps.

  • How to fix Adobe App Manager error code -60 Download appears corrupt but only for Photoshop CS6 app

How to fix Adobe App Manager error code -60 Download appears corrupt but only for Photoshop CS6 Creative Suite Cloud App. Many attempts were made to install Photoshop CS6 with Adobe Application Manager without success. Every other Creative Suite Application was successfully downloaded. I keep getting Installation Failed when attempting the Photoshop install. How does one correct this?

Thanks Jeff! So, it totally appears as if it was a network issue. The corporate network where I work is quite likely the culprit. Where I was thrown off is that since I have admin rights on my computer, I can install software. But using Adobe Application Manager to install Adobe software wasn't working. And to make matters worse, there didn't appear to be any way to install Acrobat Pro for Mac without using AAM. The workaround that I used previously was to install the trial versions of Adobe software, and then just register them using my username and password. But the workaround for being able to install everything using AAM was to bring my computer home and download from my home network.

  • A plug-in for Adobe Color in the app or to allow the download file to be accessed by Muse

I think it would be awesome to have the functionality of adobe color CC. so that we can search for colors in the app or allow us to download the file drop it into the app for use, so we won't have to screenshot the color and color pick them.

Acrobat does not have this built in. Normally, the table of contents is prepared at the same time as the document, perhaps in Word, which will use heading styles to do it automatically. Then this is converted to PDF. It is very unusual to do this work late with a PDF, I guess this is why it is not a core Acrobat feature.
