How could I find which i-views/pages are being used

I am pritty new in portal area. I have to administrate an ESS/MSS portal during hollydays. I am trying to find everywhere the way.
How could I find which i-views/pages are being used. Let say I can see which group I belong and which roles are behind.
How could I know in which PCD folder they are taken into account (to e.g give permission to someone not in the group)

HI,
the user administration (UME) gives you the information about the user <-> group <-> role assignment.
When you know the role, search in the PCS for it, open the role and you will see all the pages / iviews assigned to the role.

Hi Gurus,
I have to remove some printers from SPAD, but before removing those printers I have to make sure that those are not being used by any background jobs. The table TBTCP can be used to identify which jobs are still using those printers, but this is a tedious process.
Any input would be highly appreciated.

I'm lazy so I'd just run this SQL
select distinct(jobname), pdest from SAPSR3.TBTCP where PDEST in ('LP01', 'LOCL') ;
Just put the printers you want as shown above and just perform a little manual cross check by checking the job in SM37.
And that's it .....

Which Enteprise Edition features are being used ?

Hello,
Due to licensing requirements I have been asked to check if a database is using any enterprise edition features so that we can downgrade our binaries to Standard Edition.
I know that I can query
DBA_FEATURE_USAGE_STATISTICS
to find out what features are being used , my question is how would I know if a feature that is being used in part of Enterprise Edition ?*

my question is how would I know if a feature that is being used in part of Enterprise Edition ?As far as I knows, there is no such view/sql/dbms which specifically differentiate the uses of features based upon as a part of that specific edition. If you are using X edition, then the query output of DBA_FEATURE_USAGE_STATISTICS and DBA_HIGH_WATER_MARK_STATISTICS will be based upon the edition. Suppose ABC feature exists in enterprise edition and DBA_FEATURE_USAGE_STATISTICS is saying that ABC feature has been used, so it means that ABC feature has been used as a part of enterprise edition. If there is no ABC feature in installed edition, you will never find the uses of ABC feature in that edition. So very simple is any feature has been reported by DBA_FEATURE_USAGE_STATISTICS view; it means that feature has been used in part of said edition.

How can I tell where my CC licenses are being used?

I own several CC-for-teams seats, but they are activated and deactivated on many computers constantly.
How can I keep track of what licenses are in use on my computers? Are the MAC addresses or hostnames stored someplace?
If I need to retreive a license, must I do so by user (email address), or can I revoke a license from a machine instead?
For that matter, does Adobe offer per-machine or concurrent licensing as an alternative to CC-for-teams? How do Enterprise users manage?

Hi DEQRTWDWYQD,
The CC is based on Adobe ID.Each CC Adobe Id entitles you for two installs, so the moment it is tried to be installed on the third computer, it gives you a prompt to deactivate from the previous machines..
If you want to retreive a license, you have to revoke the invite from the Admin console by clicking on the cross in front of the Email Adress.
As of now the enterprise users manage by deploying packages from the creative Cloud Packager.

How to know in which roles an iview is being used

Hi,
We would like to know if a specific iview is being used by any portal role.
It there any kind of "where used" report where I can investigate the relations between portal content objects (iview, page, workset, role) ?
I tried the PCD Toool but it seems of no help

As Debasish stated, you can check the Tracing Delta Link Dependencies for the iview in which you can find the where particular iview is used in the page, workset or role in the SAP Portal.

How do I find which 'machines' are authorised on my Mac?

I have a MacBook Pro OSX 10.5.8 and iTunes 9.2.1(5).
Apparently, I have two machines authorised on my account! How do I find which (what?) these are?
I synchronise my iPhone 3GS and iPad to the same account. It still shows my (now non existent) iPod Touch too.
So - how can I find out which 'two' are 'authorised'?

There may not be any others! In many cases, iTunes will use up another authorization after a motherboard replacement, OS upgrade, etc, even when there is not really a new machine.
That is why it is a good idea to deauthorize a machine before doing anything significant to it, but of course that is easy to forget to do. As the gnome points out, it does not really matter until you hit 5, at which time you can simply "deauthorize all."

Depends entirely on what you choose to export:
File -> Export Photo
Will export The current version, the original, a jpeg, tiff or png. All of them will be the edited version except the Original.
If you want to move all your versions between Libraries check out iPhoto Library Manager

Use SE10 t-code and type abaper user name in the user field then check released check box then display and select request number which is released, double click on said request number and click on "object list of request" Then click on "comment: released" than you can find out the released user name at the end of request number along with dated of released.

How do I find my Adobe downloads page. I closed my browser before downloading all the files I could download. Now I can get back to that page!

You will need to log back into your Adobe account and once in your account click on View Order History and then click on the link to the file that was not downloaded. If the download was aborted you may need to start from the beginning to get all files downloaded correctly.

We have a number of InfoSet Queries which the users are calling from SQ00. Some of them are very old.
I would like to find out which queries are being used, so we can have the idle queries decommissioned.

It's been a while since I've done this but one method is to use ST03N & look for the execution of programs with an AQ* prefix. The general structure is AQZZ/<query user group><query name>.
You could probably get the same info from the audit log but I've not checked that.

I know some of my photos have NOT been imported in to the iPhoto library. How can I find which ones?

In error, for a period, I had iPhoto set up such that photos were not imported into the iPhoto library but left scattered around my iMac. How can I find which ones without selecting each individual photo - there are nearly 9,000?

Are you able to view them in full size in the library, i.e. don't get this
when you try to view the photo in full size? If you can then you can do the following to consolidate all of the master image files inside the library.
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.>Click on the Add Library button,
2 - select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
3 - make sure that in the rebuild window the checkbox "Scavange orphaned photos" is checked.
4 - now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
5 - in the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed. Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

ORA-01555 means that the UNDO/ROLLBACK space is not large enough.
This occurs because the SELECT statement is attempting to read the UNDO, but the UNDO has been released (transactions have committed or rolled back) and reused.
The following are SOME of the reasons I have seen this to occur:
1) Updates in a loop, with commits happening in the same loop
- this will mark the UNDO available quickly and quickly reuse it. Then when the SELECT wants to rebuild a block, the UNDO used to rebuild the block has been reused (solution, make the UNDO bigger)
2) A SELECT cursor used to control a loop in which updates are performed, and a 'done' flag is marked against the current cursor record, and commits are performed at the end of each loop, prior to fetching the next record
- same problem as above, but it hits the current process. Same solution
3) A 'month end' activity spike occurs, and all sorts of transactions create updates. There is a report that reports the activity - amusingly it needs to start at the beginning of all the work and updates periodically by doing a huge SELECT up front. This is then used to drive a loop which attempts to get information from the various transactions that have been updated and committed. After a while, the SELECT gets an ORA-01555
- same problem as above and same solution. Get a bigger UNDO segment.
You say this only happens once a month. That should give a hint.
I wouldn't bother with which SELECT statement, as much as which APPLICATIONs are being run when it happens.
One way around this - use 10g and set the guaranteed retention period. All sorts of other things will break, by no more 1555. <g>
