How Could I Lose 150GB Now That I'm Running Leopard...?!

I installed Leopard the day after it arrived (clean install) and to be honest, never noticed how much drive space I was using until tonight when I was working on a video project. Imagine my surprise when I noticed that I only had 11.6GB of drive space available.
I opened disk utility and sure enough... it shows a capacity of 232.8GB and 221.1GB used. Huh? It turns out that leopard thinks I have 161.57GB on my desktop. I did the math & can only find maybe 12GB on my desktop. I double & triple checked. I only have maybe 7 folders so I'm NOT missing anything.
Anyway, I'm just stymied... Just when I thought I was smoothing things out with my printer issues, USB problems and various bugs... Any ideas?!

I had a similar experience. I had installed a new HD into my computer and loaded Leopard onto it. Used the migration tool to move things from my "old" other internal drive. Thought I was missing about 40-50 GB. After much poking around, moving things, went to empty the trash and it "all of a sudden" was fine.
I know that sounds like a stupid piece of no help. During my search, though, it was recommended to me that I utilize this product:

To use other programs, or open Database documents at all, you must export from AppleWorks first, which means you need a way to run it.
If you have upgraded to Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks and have AppleWorks documents you cannot open, then you should be able to install Snow Leopard on an external hard disk and start from that (provided that the Mac did not come with anything higher than Snow Leopard originally installed); and success has been reported in running Snow Leopard Server under emulation in Parallels - the method is described here: Snow Leopard Server is available in the Apple Store (by telephone) at a reduced price (at the time of writing) and is preferable to using ordinary Snow Leopard which is quite tricky. I haven't tried this myself: use at your own discretion. You can then run AppleWorks as an emergency measure.

If the phone is connected to the Internet and contains your account you can erase the phone by
1 Going to ( www.icloud.com) and sign in With your account (the account you use in the stolen phone)
2 go to Find My iPhone
3 if the phone connected to internet you will see the phone on the map
4 choose the phone and click (erase everything)

I have an install SQL scripts that creates a Linked Server. I want to put some security on the Linked Server and only grant the Agent Job Signon (the "Run As" or "Executed as User") access to the linked server. I need to retrieve the
Agent Job Signon (something like "NT SERVICE\SQLAgent$FIDEV360BI02").
I could query certain jobs and SUBSTRING the Message column - using some form of the query below, which would return "Executed as user: NT SERVICE\SQLAgent$SSDEVBI02. The step succeeded." But that is pretty imprecise.

by default all sql jobs are executed as sql server agent account, unless otherwise a proxy is setup.
you can get the proxy information as Olaf mentioned, if the proxy_id is null for the step, it implies that the job step was executed as sql server service account and in such case it will be null
so, if it is null, it ran as sql server agent account.
so, one work around is get the sql server agent service account and if the proxy is null, that means it ran as sql server agent account, so, use isnull function. the disadvantage would be if the sql server agent account was switched, you might not get the
accurate information as the new account will show up though the job really ran as old account, to get this information, you need to get this from the logmessage column as you mentioned above.

Any Suggestons? There is no Application support or Library folder in my home file.

These folders are hidden because many users did odd things with them.
Here are three ways to get rid of that.
(1) go to to the menu "Go to" (Aller in French) and type :
~/Library
(2) press option and go to the menu "Go To". The item Library will be available
(3) run this AppleScript

This one unhidde the folder so you need it only once. Keep the script because maybe an update may reset the hidden flag.

Have a look at the menu file/process multiple files. You can choose to add your signature (or the caption) to the image and export the new files.
If that solution is not flexible enough, consider using the very affordable (12$) Elements+ add-on which offers a 'meta stamp' script :

Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps).

Hey thanks... yea thats too bad actually... I think Apple needs to realize really soon that the Application is no longer defined by its limits on the machine... the cloud and specifically interaction with OTHER people working on documents, files etc - is very much a critical feature that needs to be supported and grown forwards....
Keynote was great not because I could toss a PDF up for people to download... but beacuse I could SHARE a real presenation that had some nice flow thru a web-based interface meaning ANYONE could view it and experience as I intended it to be.... PDF does not capture that same glory...
Nor does it allow those participants to help me craft that presenations thru comments, notes and online discussion.... Keynote was more than an app that makes presentations....
it was a collaborative tool that allowed groups to interact as ONE towards building a better presentation...and Apple fully dropping that so far is a huge dissapointment.... cloud sharing is NOT the same as collaborative sharing....
I wish Steve was still around.... I'd send him an email about it. I hope someone is listening over there.... What is the file system of the external drive, and how is the drive connected? DO you get an error message? If yes, which message?
You can only open a library on a directly connected drive, formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled). If the drive is correctly formatted, hold down the alt/options key while you are launching photos, and then select your library from the Library Chooser Panel.
If the library is not listed in the panel, use the "Other Library" button.
