How cow! Fix the dreaded -50 error!

I can't believe Apple hasn't fixed the -50 error that occurs when syncing. They are going to get flooded with support calls come Christmas morning!!! Oh the disappointment millions will experience.
I have read hundreds of people on this forum who are experiencing the same problem. Has anyone found a cure yet?

Are you sending or receiving the EDI?
Either way, "162014" is simply not a valid EDI data format. Dates in x12 are expressed as CCYYMMDD so December 30, 2013 would appear as 20131230.
If you are receiving, you need to contact the sender and have them correct the output.
If you are sending, you need to property format that date value. For example:
myDateVar.ToString("yyyyMMdd");

How to fix the PLS-00123 error?

I construct about the oracle spatial sql as follow:

How to fix the 42408 unknown error when trying to authorize computer?

I have 2 ipods which i use on th same account so they both have the same sogs and videos. I just recently tried to plug in the ipod videoto ge all my movies and tv shows and songs but it said that i neded to authorize my computer. I typed in my password and the friendly 42408 unknown error showed up..How do i fix this?

How to Fix the following Encore Error: "Quick Time system error: number = -1"?

Has anyone seen this error before in Encore? Quick Time system error: number = -1 How do you fix it? I get it while burning a DVD. I have the latest version of Encore and the menu I am using was exported from After Effects.

When I start Encore I always receive a warning that I do not have Quicktime installed
Since I do not use QT in any way, I ignore the warning and Encore works just fine
I also do not use menus from AE, so there MAY be something to look at
Does Encore work properly if you use one of the built-in menus?

Did you try the list?
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

Yes, if it has been jailbroken, then there is probably nothing that you can do and you will never be able to use it, so ditch it and buy a new phone.
If it's an iPhone 3g, then it is a very old phone anyway and you shoud consider buying a new one.

As long as the PDF opens, then just try saving it to a new file name. There may be a preflight script that would help troubleshoot the issue.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I've got the same problem.
It wasn't the case before the upgrade to v 9.2 (Iphoto 11) yesterday.
The previous solution preferences - advanced - "select a store" (last option) doesn't solve it anymore.
