How data usage is saved in Current usage / Data ?

i like to know who does the data usage is saved under Current usage / Data ?
for example at 3:15 shows i used 110 MB and about 3:40 shows 5MB
is the 110MB usage saved as one time use or tru out a x amount time ? and how does Verizon calculate the size of data and time the data was used .

Hello there nosferatu2xlc! Thanks so much for using your Data Usage tool at My Verizon. I love that feature. I recommend any customer with a smartphone do the same as you are! The data usage is calculated at the close of connection. So the 110 mb that you show for 3:15 is all data reported to have been send/received by your phone for a browsing session that ended at 3:15. The same is true for the 5 mb later in the day. We calculate data based on measurement of info we show transmitted by your phone on your line. I hope that helps!

I have a stock levels data in ODS. when there is no movements, we are not getting any stocks into ODS. So we have to get previous day data as it is for current day data into another ODS.

        0CALDAY can't help us in this scenario .
Step 1 :
    To do this - You have to add one ZDATE (InfoObject ) to 1st ODS. ZDATE is updated by itself from current date of system when ever you are loading data to 1st ODS.
Step 2:
   You have to do full update to 2nd ods.At the selection screen of InfoPackage (from 1st ODS to 2nd ODS ) you have to write following code for ZDATE.
pseudo Code:
1) Select fields "Rec_INSERT","Time stamp","Request Status" and "Request ID" where ICUBE = ODS1 from table "RSMONICDP"
2) Populate above selected fields data in INTERNAL TABLE
3) Sort INTERNAL TABLE by Time stamp .
4)
     If (Record Count = ' 0 ' for current date in internal table )
     update records from ODS1 to ODS2 where ZDATE = "yesterday date"
     else
     update records from ODS1 to ODS2 where ZDATE= "today date"
     endif.
Make sure this is full update not delta update from ODS1 to ODS2

I have a scenario where i need to calculate Position time hold by an employee in an organisation.
I have 2 date Char ( DATE FROM & DATE TO), the problem is that is , If an employee is having
2/3 position in an organisation its current position End Date is always 31.12.999 as its End date is
not know. For previous position End Date is maintained.
My requirement is to calculate Position hold time including Current position.
I have created 2 Formula Variable on Date From & Date To,
The issue is that Date To is having both Values Previous Position Date thats ok as its not 31/12/9999
I am geting those values in Forumla in addition its also having Date For Current position as 31/12/9999
which should be converdet in to current system date.
I need to write a User Exit on End Date Forumla Variable which should only convert if Date = 31/12/9999
else leave it as it.
For EX,
EndDate
1/1/2005
1/1/2006
31/12/9999(Only this value need to convert as current system date and leave above valuse as it)
Can any one please provide me the code for this, this is v urgent.

I now understand what you were writing.
I played around a bit and it still doesn't work like I want to.
The really strange thing is when I adapt an existing (SAP - standard) dynamic action (for another IT) the 'calculation part' is performed and with my own attempt it doesn't substract the day.

I'm trying to write a script to do a calculation to all dimension after load current month data; it ran successfully but current month data is all zero; can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

If I understand you correctly, you are loading data, then clearing out the current month->current year, and then aggregating current month->current year? There isn't going to be any data there -- you've cleared it out in your second step.
I think the order you want is:
1) Clear out the current month->current year to be sure it's a good load
2) Load the current month->current year
3) Aggregate the current month->current year
This could be done with a single Maxl that controls two calc scripts and one import database (clear, import, agg) or you could do it manually.
The default calc is (generally) equivalent to CALC ALL using db properties (UPDATECALC, AGGMISSG, etc.). There shouldn't be practical difference between that and the AGG portion of your calc.
I would again confirm that all of your data is at the lowest level, i.e., you can navigate to leaf level on all dimensions and pull a data value before you aggregate. Perhaps you are loading to upper level members and don't realize it. I often use the Excel add-in's Styles to tell me if I'm at the lowest level of a db or not.

I also have 1.8+ GB charged to my allowance that I don't understand at all how it is mine because the highest I've ever logged at any given time has been barely 0.5 GB. I'm cruising along at .04-.07 GB and all of a sudden appears a 1.8+ GB deduction/usage and it makes me wonder what the ???? is going on. Is Verizon posting fraudulent usage amounts just to drive up my usage so I have to buy more Gigs?

The time is not the time of actual use, but the time a tower reports the use. The data would have been used anytime prior to that time. Usually, but no always, the usage happened between the time prior and the time reported.
For example:
9:00 AM   1.23 MB
7:05 AM   0.01 MB
1:15 AM 350.03 MB
8:00 PM   23.89 MB
This does not indicate 350 MB was used at 1:15 AM. It really tell you 350 MB was used sometime between 8:00 PM and 1:15 AM.
The times are local time zone as far as I can tell.

i realised i have this 200mb of messages this morning & tried deleting my messages but it started to hang half way and my phone gets very hot. thn i do pressed my lock & home button to reset the phone, thn it cool atfer awhile but i got all my messges back lol..
thn i found out, after deleting all the unwanted messages, sync to itunes, thn all the messages is gone for good. hope it helps?

how will the itunes match app affect my data usage? It seems to take a while to connect and start playing so i'm assuming if my range isnt the best it will drop out like a bad radio station???

What I have done is create playlists and I'll download the playlists to the iPhone while I'm at home, on Wi Fi, and listen while I'm out and about. I've only downloaded the occasional tracks on 3G (mainly because at&t's network was so terrible). This method worked pretty well for me.

How can I measure the Graphics Card usage, like with the processor in Task Manager, but instead giving a percentage usage for the graphics card instead? Is there an easy way to do this, or would it require a lot of code? Is it even possible?

Ah, so It's unlikely that Java3D will include anything for reading this data then? I was really aiming at measuring the GPU usage under this API which although i have limited knowledge using, I do at least have some knowledge - I wouldn't have a clue how to access any other API's!
I'm using an NVidia TNT2 card at the moment, which is quite old.

I would like to know the current usage of BIA in our system. I have seen in TREXADMIN tcode that there are some space utilzation parameters displayed like:
Summary tab:
Memory     XXX GB Phys-Avail, XX GB ( YY%) used
Shared Mem     XX MB assigned, X% used, XX MB free
Diskspace     XXX GB total, X% used, XXX GB free
Which one of this parameter indicates the correct utlization of BIA. In which of these parameters can we see the actual size of infocube indexes available in BIA?
Also is there way to check the utlization of space in BIA for each infocube that is indexed in BIA.

SAP note 917803 u2013 run the program ZZ_BIAMEMCONSUMPTION_BW3X As per SAP, the compression ratio (The cube size/BIA index size for the cube) would be around 5:1 and the utilization should be 50% only. This can give the approximate size of blade memory required when cube is planned to be added. You can use the program RSDDTREX_MEMORY_ESTIMATE for the memory estimate on BIA.It allows to combine/select all relevant Cubes, takes into account shared master data and takes into account compression on F- and E-fact tables.

Im not sure how Technologically possible this would be... but i would be thinking it would be convienient to have the current Usage: Voice/Text messages Auto deliver to an RSS reader vs having to constantly log on to check it

I have a link on my website which points to a published iCal calendar. The link remains static, for instance, I created the link in January, and it pointed to the January view of the calendar.
Now that its February, I'd like the link to point to the February month view (and so on throughout the year), but it remains linked to January.
