How Depressing-my screen just freezes and melts....

Well due to no significant chagnes, installments or downloads my emac tends to run about 1 to 3 minutes after startup and then lock up. Most of the time my application that I have open kind of melts on my screen-it becomes fuzzy and unreadable. It doesn't matter what I am doing or what I am running. I ran hardware tests and its fine...I zapped pram and it still happens. I am perplexed by the shear fact that nothing changed-it just started freezing and melting. I can't force quit anything-can't escape-only way out is to press the restart button. Sometimes when It restarts there are things on my desktop already fuzzy-maybe just one file but its a sign of things to come. ANY SUGGESTIONS-I am perplexed!

Call Apple soon as possible to alert them to your problem and get yourself documented with them in the event there's a recall if you wish to save mucho repair bucks!

Some apps crash. If they do, try this, in order.
1. Double click your home button and put your finger on any app and hold for a second. Then delete that app. You're not deleting the app from your phone, so don't worry. Then try opening the app again.
2. If that doesn't work, hold your sleep+home buttons for 10 seconds and don't let go. Ignore the power off message. Then try again.
3. If that doesn't work, delete the app and re-download it. (This will work most of the time)
4. If that doesn't work, download the app on iTunes on your computer and sync it from there.
5. If that doesn't work, wait for an update by the developers.

Updated iTunes to 10.5, iTunes won't work now! Everytime I open iTunes it just freezes and I can't click on anything. It says to take it out of compatibility mode and still doesn't work! any help??

Okay, we'll try the technique from the following post. Be sure to be logged in to your usual user account when doing so. (Otherwise you'll be editing the wrong set of HKEY_CURRENT_USER keys.)

I bought my iphone less a month, with a week warranty to be replaced should there be any problem, after a week, while im talking or using any of its softwares, the screen just disappear and i had to restart all over before i can operate it. Please help.

I bought my iphone on 23 June 2011, a week after the warranty period, I noticed that, each time I am on line or using it's software, the screen just disappear and offline just like that, and I had to re-start my iphone.
I have been facing this problem numeral times and not sure what is wrong with it.
Went back to Celcom to report, they asked me to deposit to their technical department and to come back after 2 weeks. (2 weeks) is way too long to wait.

Hi Jen. My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse. Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too. Now to the problem at hand. I have the same problem. I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade. Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade. But I'm sure other factors are involved. Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem: What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it. Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade. Hope this works. Charlie

Firefox crashes or just freezes and each time I close it, I have to type all the websites again - it does not memorize them as the previous version did?

The latest version of Firefox looks great, but some new problems began appearing:
-sometimes it crashes or just freezes and nothing can be done, it just says Not Responding
-each time I close all the tabs I always put - Save option so that next time all the tabs are there, but with the new version I never get all the tabs from the previous session, but only the blank or home page?

MBP screen keeps freezing and these pixelated lines appear...

For the most part, I've been a happy MAC user but I have been experiencing some problems. For example, if I moved the mouse to close a program or something similar, the screen would freeze and these pixelated lines of black and white would appear, sometimes flashing. These lines would either cover a third or all of the screen. When I restarted, the lines would appear in blue right after the apple icon appears. This has been happening infrequently for the past day or so.
From browsing the internet, I've come across the GeForce 8600M GT GPU issue. I've checked and I do have this component. From Apple's article, my problem is not so much with the video, although it is really slow and intermittent at best but with the display screen (I think that's the proper term). I ran a general hardware test and all seems to be okay.
Would my problem(s) fall under this recall? Would I be eligible to get a (free) replacement? Further, is there a hardware test I could specifically run to test this? This is driving me crazy! What do you think?

Try running in Safe mode. This leaves out some video drivers. Which results in machine not using advanced video hardware.

Reset Password
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse pointer to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box under “Select user account”.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.

Can't swipe back on websites any more..the page just freezes and i have to close it...this happens with both the trackpad and magic mouse. Also can't scroll down in iCal...any advice please?

While browsing online tonight my Wi-Fi failed and then after restarting I noticed that I can no longer swipe "back" on websites...when I swipe back to go to a previous page the browser just freezes – can’t click anything or navigate to another site – I have to close the browser and reopen it.
This happens in both Safari and Google Chrome with both Trackpad and Magic Mouse.
Also noticed that I can no longer scroll down in iCal… All the other gestures seem to be responding normally.
Anyone have advice as to how I can fix this?
