How did I end up with compressor 4 and qmaster 3.53?

I'm having my first experience with distributed processing via Qmaster and I figured that it would be easy to start with compressor, but I also wanted to set it up for rendering in Final Cut Pro.
I notice that despite having bought compressor 4, I still have the old qmaster. Is that because the Qmaster I have came with my final cut? I thought qmaster came with compressor?
If not, how do I get the newest qmaster, so that I can set up a network of compressor 4/qmaster linked nodes?
This might be worth mentioning:
I have 2 macbook pro's:
Osx 10.8.5 and 10.9.1
One Mac Pro
10.7.5

OK. Up until C4.0, Qmaster was a stand-alone application and accessible through the Preference Pane in Systems Preferences. In C4.0, and until 4.0.7, it became an embedded app – found within the Compressor.app file. That's why you don't ordinarily encounter the Qmaster file…you have to go digging to find it. (And it's altogether different in 4.1)

Somehow I've ended up with 2 distinct iTunes Store accounts (but with very similar usernames and the same password) and both are linked to the same credit card.
I have no idea how this has happened or how long it's been this way but it explains why I can't see some purchases on one AppleTV but can on the other - each AppleTV was logged in with a separate user account.
How can I merge these two accounts so that I can go back to a single account?

hello, no this is not part of firefox. please always make sure that you're only downloading firefox from the official location at getfirefox.com. please try these steps to get rid of this adware:

I swear my dark grey iphone 6 had a silver ring around the home button. It fell off, and no one is interested because apparently these phones aren't supposed to come with that. How did I end up with one?

Take the SIM card out and replace it. If that fails, get a replacement SIM from your carrier. If that still fails your phone is broken and you'll need to go to Apple for evaluation.

How did I end up with 2 AlbumData.xml files?

The finder is showing me that I have an albumdata.xml file and an albumdata2.xml file, both with the same date and time. It seems to me that there shouldn't be two of these files. The file sizes vary, though, making me think the second one is unnecessary.
The first one is nearly 12 MB and the second one is about a half a MB. Should I delete it? What will happen if I do? Any suggestions? (I don't want to screw it up any more, because I've had trouble with this version ever since I upgraded.)

The AlbumData.xml file has faces information, coordinates of the faces on each image identified and other info and the data2 file has bulk listing of numbers which I have no idea what they represent. But both are necessary.

Create a parent folder on your computer to store the named folders of photos that you want transferred to your iPhone. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select the parent folder. All named folders of photos within will be transferred to your iPhone as separate folders or albums.
Regarding your 2nd question, this should be easy. Your contacts should be available on your computer with or without an iPhone or any cell phone, which can be lost or stolen.
Although contacts are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, not a good idea to depend on this either since the iPhone backup includes a significant amount of other data. Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer. There is no way to delete those records selectively from front end.
The best possible way is to delete the records from MRP_FORECAST_DATES tables from backend.

How can I use LCCS with ActionScript 3 and Flash CS4?

Hi,
Using Stratus I was able to create an an application using Action Script 3 and Flash CS4. The sample code on the Adobe site was quite straight forward and easy to understand. I now want to switch over to LCCS but can't find anything any where on how to use Action Script 3 and Flash CS4 with LCCS. Do I need to know Flex to be able to use LCCS? Everything was quite simple and easy to understand with Stratus and makes complete sense. But LCCS is really confusing. Is there any sample code on how to establish a connection in Action Script 3 and then stream from a webcam to a client. There is nothing in the LCCS SDK that covers Flash and Action Script 3. Please help! I found the link below on some forum but it takes me nowhere.

Please refer to the SDK's sampleApps folder. There would be an app called FlashUserList. The app demonstrates how LCCS can be used with Flash CS4. Its a pretty basic app, but should help you moving.

Hi,
I just started with Java3D last week.
I assume you mean drawing polygons with outlines (wireframe) in one color and polygon face filling with another color. If so, I've got the same question! (I usually think of "contour" to refers to plotting surface intensity of independent data like temperature or elevation, but I don't think you mean this.)
The only solution I've found so far is to make two shapes with the same geometry.
Here's an example - an outlined and filled cube. I made it using a generalize class DualShape which is two shapes with the same geometry, but one filled and one as a line.
It works, although I can't say I understand the setPolygonOffset(), knowing what value to set. Without the command, the depthbuffer can't consistently decide which should be in front between the fills and lines so it looks bad.
I certainly think it would be nicer to do both internally, like:
pa.setPolygonMode(pa.POLYGON_LINE || pa.POLYGON_FILL);
And then have setFillColor and setLineColor for each.
I don't know why they don't allow this - maybe OpenGL can't do it like this so Java3D follows.
If anyone has any better ideas I'd like to hear about it.

I have now recently downloaded 10.0.2 which is confusing in itself, as, as far as I can ascertain that is actually version 11, but I'm not even sure about that.
Version 10.0.2 is the newest version and the successor to GarageBand '11 (version 6.0.5).
The '11 is referring to the iLife '11 suit of multimedia application - the older GarageBand was a part of this bundle.
Have a look at Edgar's graphical enhanced manuals, the explain very detailed how things work and why. You can buy them as iBooks from the iBook store or directly from the page:
