How did i get 20GB storage?

I moved from MobilMe to iCloud. I noticed I have 20GB of storage in the cloud. I thought the free storage was 5GB. Will I be charged the $40.00/Year for this or was I upgraded for free for some reason?

I also got free upgrade - from 5G to 25G, I guess based on above because of previous Mobileme subscription and it will last until June. OK, but my mobileme subscription was a "family pack..." shouldn't the other members of my family (on mobileme subscriptions) also be getting the same upgrade? My husband's icloud says he has only 5G. Why? If a mistake, how do I fix it?

As far as I can see, my credit card information is correct and the card is quite active. For some reason the annual fee charge process did not succeed and my account is downgraded to the basic level. How can I get the storage and data back?

You data is there for about a week or so. All you need to do purchase storage. If purchase does not go through contact your bank and check if they blocking transaction.

(The x64 would most likely mean 64 bit). It may be a Windows based application/plugin, but since I had never heard of either, I'm only guessing there. If you do a search systemwide for it and don't find it plus don't know why it's there, I'd say throw it in the trash (don't empty it yet - make a note of the file path just in case you do have something installed that needs it so you can move it back).
Glad to hear it's not a torrent; some people use those not realizing that quite often there is a price to pay for downloading stuff for free that costs money elsewhere - the software packages quite often include little "add-ons" = malware which you really don't want.

iCloud storage is not allocated by device. iCloud storage is allocated to your iCloud AppleID. You get 5GB of iCloud storage.

How do I remove email address not in contact list.they drop down when in the "to"field trying to either fwd ,send or reply. How did they get there in the first place. And the edit key does not show in my contacts

While searching for an answer to this problem, which I am also having, I realized coolchaser might be attached to my "Gamers Unite" toolbar I have installed for FarmVille on facebook. No idea why it occasionally pops up in my browser though. Might have been one of those 'automatically installed' programs that came with the toolbar.

If you purchase a higher-tier storage plan for your iCloud account to replace your existing storage plan (for example, a 20 GB plan to replace a 10 GB plan), the existing plan will be canceled and you will receive a prorated refund for the time remaining. The new storage plan is applied to your iCloud account and the annual payment date is updated to reflect the purchase date for the new plan.

To post a screen shot, you first take it, them upload it. To take them, I use and recommend Skitch -- one of the best little apps ever. But this ability is built into OS X. Just drag it off the Dock and it will go "poof"
Look at the Options... when you click on it. Unless it got set to stay there, something you did or an app did caused it to be open.
Are there any windows open attached to it?
Is it set to "open on login"?
I use it but I do not have it or keep it on my Dock. It is found in /Applications/Utilities and installers may need to use it.

The font must either be installed normally on your system, or it can be placed into a Document Fonts folder in the same folder as the .indd file and it will be available for that file for editing.

How did I get a 16 GB iPod touch 4g

I ordered an iPod touch 4G on Amazon for just under $200 and it was listed as an 8GB white. However, I recieved it in the mail yesterday and it said 16GB on the plastic box. I was confused. So I oped it up and noticed on the back of the iPod itself it also said 16 gb. So then I turned it on, set it up, amd went to setting, general, then about. I hsaw that my total memory was 13.7 gigs. How did I get a 16 GB iPod? I thought the 4g only was available as an 8GB, 32GB, and 64gb.

Not exactly. Apple has discontinued the 4G 8gb, 32gb and 64gb iPod and replaced them with the 16gb model and the 32 and 64gb iPod Touch 5.

Make sure plugins are enabled.
Press Command , (comma) to open Safari Preferences then select the Security tab.
Make sure: Allow all other plug-ins is selected.
Quit and relaunch Safari.
If you have ClickToFlash installed, that can prevent Flash content from loading.
Either as an extension: Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Or HD > Users > Library > Internet Plug-Ins
