How do different colors on your calendar

can anyone help

It depends upon the calender you are using.  If yu use the iClould calender (iOS 5 you can go to Setings>Mail..>Calender saiction and set the specific default calander you want to use. Home and Work are different colors. Yu cal also select other calenders and they have different colors.

  • How to change color of Exchange calendar on iPhone?

I have an Exchange calendar (and a few delegate calendars) on iCal in 10.6. My main calendar is on my iPhone as well, but I can't seem to choose the color, and I can't stand the red that seems to be the default (it's actually not so bad on the iPhone, but I want it the same color as on my Mac and I don't want lots of red all over iCal. I know how to change the calendar color in iCal, just not on iPhone (for an Exchange calendar, that is. Non-Exchange calendars seem to follow whatever colors are set in iCal.)
Thanks for whatever folks can tell me!

This seems to be an ongoing issue as I have the same issue with my itouch. From this thread it seems the newer updates now automatically lock your gmail calendar to whatever color you chose from your PC. Change the color on your PC calendar and the color on your mobile device will match it. Would love to figure out a way to change the color on my itouch to anything I want, but it is now greyed out under the options to change the color.

I am perplexed as I used to have the option to change my gmail calendar color from within my itouch as I do with both my outlook exchange account and my yahoo account. What gives?

  • I have more than 1 calendar on Iphone how to change color of the calendars.

I have more than 1 calendar on my iphone, but 2 of them have the same color when viewing on the list. But both belong to 2 separate individuals. Is there some way of chaning the default color of each calendar?

I believe that if you set up your Google calendars using CalDAV rather than exchange the colors you select in your Google calendar preferences will sync to your phone.  To set up your calendars using CalDAV, see http://support.google.com/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=151674, then go to your gmail exchange account and turn calendar syncing to off.

  • Is there a way to change the color of your calendars in the calendar app when it has been synced with multiple calendars?

I have just purchased an iPad 2 and I have gotten it setup to sync with my multiple calendars on Google Calendar.  But the colors I have chosen for displaying my calendars in Google Calendar are not being used when the info comes over to the iPad.  The iPad is choosing it's own colors for each calendar.   Is there a way to customize this so I know who's calendar I am looking at by color shown?  Thanks!

Size is never included in a style for a shape.
If you want to apply the resizing to all shapes, you can use the small flyout menu after applying the resizing to one shape, and choose Apply to all items of this type.

  • How to chance colors on iPhone calendars

I sync Mac iCAl via Exchange in the cloud with my iPhone. Works fine but for one problem: colors on the iphone. I use separate calendars under iCal and Exchange so I can look at my ical month and see different events at a glance: red for kids, green for work, etc. I have 6 named calendars on iCal with 6 matching named and colored calendars on Exchange. For example, scheduling a work event on either Exchange or iCal produces a green box on my iCal calendar. So far so good. But, on the iphone new events show up with the same info, BUT the colors on the iPhone are different. I don't even know how colors are assigned to calendars, but on the iPhone kids events are yellow, work is blue, etc. Annoying more than a killer problem. Suggestions for a Fix anyone? rob
    Thanks in advance.

Not possible at the moment I'm afraid. However there may be an end in sight ..... if you look at the Calendar on the iPad photos on the Apple website, it does clearly show different colour appointments

  • How to change color of iCal calendars??

I'm transferring my calendars from my old G4 ical version 1.5.5 to my new imac ical version 3.0.2. I'm trying to change the colors the program assigned to my calendars. I'm a designer and we have kinda weird priorities but, my calendars LOOK horrible. Under "help" it gives the advice I've reprinted below but, there IS no "info button in the bottom right corner"!
Please help me reestablish aesthetic equilibrium.
"Select the calendar in the Calendars list.
Click the Info button in the bottom-right corner of the iCal window to open the calendar’s Info window.
Choose a new color from the pop-up menu in the top-right corner of the Info window.
To customize the color, choose Other, and then make your color selections in the Colors window."

    Welcome to the discussions, spet.
Right click (Control-click) the calendar you want to change in the left pane and select Get Info. There is a colour selection button to the right of the calendar name..

  • How do you sync "only" your calendar in outlook 2007?

Please somebody help me! In prior releases of iCloud Sync for Outlook 2007, I was able to Sync only my Calendar!
With my most recent laptop, my phone and Laptop Synced through iCloud and now it has taken me hours and hours to fix the Contacts to the point they are ok on my Phone again!
There is no selection tool in the iCloud Panel when you select Mail, Contact, Etc.  I can't go through this again. So now with the latest update of iCloud to my PC I may have to find a work a round because without "deselecting" other than Calendar, I don't want to sync!
    Please somebody Guide me.

What version of Palm Desktop are you using?
If 6.2.2, DO NOT install the Outlook 2007 update!  It has the update built into it, and a second installation of the update can cause numerous problems...

  • How to add colors on my ipad calendar for different types of events

Lets say i want to make all the birthdays on my calendar a certain color will i be able to do that

You will have to make a separate "Birthdays" calendar.  All of the items in one calendar are the same color, so if you create a new calendar for just birthdays that will be a different color than your main calendar.  Unfortunately Apple doesn't allow us to select our own colors for calendars so you are stuck with whatever color the calendar program assigns you.  Pretty frustrating to have such a basic thing as customizing calendar colors not available.  Perhaps someday someone at Apple will take the hour of coding needed to make this happen?

  • How to assign a class for different colored links

Hi. I'm new to CSS and HTML and Dreamweaver. I'm trying to
get links to be different colors within the same page. I have a
navbar with a CSS style that I've assigned colors to all my links
there. They work. But if I attempt to change the links in the main
content it screws up the navbar links.
So, now, I'm trying to assign the different colors to the
links in the main content. I have the link color down but I can't
seem to get the visited, hover, active to work.
So, I read somewhere you have to assign a class to be able to
have different colors for your links on the same page. There is a
class assigned to the links I want to change but it only assigns
the link color, not the visit, hover, active colors. I don't know
where I am supposed to put the code so that only the main content
links are changed. Here is what I came up with from reading and
studying. Can somebody tell me what's wrong with it and where I am
supposed to put what in each page? This is just a CSS style page I
made and I have no idea if I even did that right. Then, I can't
figure out how to tell each page to include it for that class only.
    Thanks.

How do you color code the calendar items? From conditional formatting or from categories?

Do you have a Google, Exchange or MobileMe email account? If you have one of those accounts, I think you can add them in the Mail settings.
I Googled this and you can look through it and see what you can find.

    Calendars
To sync calendars with your computer, choose "Sync Calendars" or "Sync iCal Calendars."
    You can sync calendars with:
Microsoft Outlook 2003, Microsoft Outlook 2007, Microsoft 2010 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7)
    iCal (Mac OS X)
Microsoft Entourage 2004, Microsoft Entourage 2008
Note:  If using Microsoft Entourage, use Microsoft Entourage 2008 12.1.2 or later if syncing with Mac OS X v10.6 or later. If you would like to sync data on your Mac with Entourage, enable syncing between Entourage and Address Book.
    Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac
Note: If using Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac to sync calendars you must update to Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac Service Pack 1 or later.
    Notes:
When syncing calendars, you can sync all calendars or sync specific calendars.
You can limit the data that is synced to only events that have occurred in the last 30 days.   The option can be changed to any number of days.

    Dear All,

When I create calendar overlays for two statues I'm only getting following colors.

    Hi,
The colors are controlled by the css classes ms-acal-color1 to ms-acal-color9.
You can override to the style as below, then add the style into a content editor web part in the calendar view.
    <style type="text/css">
    .ms-acal-color1{
    background-color:lime !important;
    </style>

  • HOW CAN I Publish ALL the Original Different Colors in iCal

I am trying to publish a grouped calendar which includes several differently colored events. I am testing it by subscribing to it from an iCal that has no calendars created at all....and it still will not publish the different colors of the original calendar. All the events appear as one color.
How can I publish/share my calendar and have ALL the different colors show?
-I am publishing using a .Mac account.
THANKS VERY MUCH for any help anyone can give! It will be hugely appreciated.

I am having this same trouble - I publish
    webcal://ical.mac.com/neyt/neyt.ics
as a grouped calendar. I tried resetting my sync data fromthe computer that this calendar lives on ( OSX 10.4 because I realized earlier versions have Ical that doesn't even group..)
Now when I have a subscriber pull down the .ics file, it doesn't show up as grouped, nor do the groups live onthe website version.
why don't these groups just show up? if I send people the .ics file - it all works just fine...
I know that some colors might be in use on other computers, I'm sure that other colors will be assigned s individuals need them in their calendars, but the groupings should sync...

  • How to underline with a different color than red (in Preview, with Mountain Lion)

    Hi,
I'm using Preview to study and I would like to figure out how to underline with a different color please...
Also, Is there a better app to read PDF document and highlight/annote/underline... to study...
    Thanks!

In Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can control the color of the underline and the highlight from the Annotations panel. You would bring this into view from the View > Comment > Annotations menu hierarchy. The underline tool by default, has a green underline. You can change the color (and opacity) by right-clicking the green underlined ‘T’  and choose “Tool Default Properties.”
