I want to clean up my address book on my iphone 4s and my iPad2. What would be the best way to make this happen? Do I need to completey erase the contacts on the Ipad and Iphohe and then sync with laptop?

Your phone connected, iTunes running, on the Info pane, scroll down to "Advanced", put a check in the box labeled "Replace Info on iPhone with Info on Computer", regarding contacts, for next sync only. Hit the apply/sync button.

The sync process for calendar events is a bidirectional or true sync process or should be, and the same for contacts.
Try resetting the sync history on your Mac, which is done via iSync preferences with the iSync application located in your Applications folder.
There is an option to replace all calendar data on your iPhone with what is available in iCal on your Mac, but not the other way around.
Try resetting the sync history on your Mac first to see if this makes any difference.

Hello. God Icould for contacts, works well between Mac Book pro (MBP) and Ipad .. but on the MBP I have only the "iCould" contacts and not the "on My Mac" contacts.
So when I connect my blackberry to grab Mac contacts, none are transfered as the balckberry seems to locate only the contacts on the Mac Book (not the ones on iCloud).

Go to users and groups and choose only your iCloud Contacts to display.
Ensure that nothing is typed in the search field.
Click to select the first contact and shift-click the last to select them all.
Drag the list of contacts to your desktop.
Make sure your On My Mac account is your default account (preferences > general).
Select All On My Mac contacts from users and groups.
Drag the file you previously dragged to your desktop back onto Address Book.
You might want to back up all your contacts before you begin.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

Go to the airport utility and erase the TC disk.. a quick erase is fine and takes less than 1min usually.
A one pass erase takes several hours depending on how big the hard disk is.. but is somewhat safer in that it tests the drive condition. I normally don't bother for a TM backup.
When you start over you should be able to fit both backups on the TC.. assuming the disk is 2x larger at least than the space used on both the MB and the iMac.
If not you can also add a USB drive to the TC, and use that for one of the computers.
The slowest one is best.. as USB is slow.. but fast enough for wireless you won't notice much.

That's what it says, mine did too and was out of date. when Lion killed it.
Don't bother fixing it, it's a 4 year old machine and at it's end of life anyway, something else will just die on it, like the keyboard, the superdrive, the hard drive etc etc.
Wth all the money you'll spend fixing it, you could have a new machine.
Mac' laptops only last aobut 4 years with daily use now.
