How do I access a document, created in iPages Beta, on my iPad?

I have iCloud (Pages Beta) on my iMac.
I created a document, now I want to access that document on my iPad.
How do I do that?
JVH

Hi j.v.fromnc,
One of the advantages of having Pages in iCloud beta is its ability to share with other devices, so it is not surprising you want to be able to access it on your iPad. To begin with you will need to install Pages for iOS on the iPad.
Pages
Once the document is created in Pages in iCloud, it automatically becomes available to devices using your iCloud account. On the iPad, go to Settings > Pages and make sure that Use iCloud is on. Of course you will want to be using the same iCloud account.

  • How can I access xml document from javascript whithin a JSP page

how can I access xml document from javascript whithin a JSP page?
I have a JSP that receives an XML document from a JavaBean, so I can access it within the entire JSP, but I need to access it from the javascript inside the JSP... and I have no idea how i can do this.
    Thanks in advance!

The solution would only work on MS IE browsers, as other browsers do not support an XML DOM.
It can be done, but you would be stuck with using the Microsoft broswer. If that is acceptable, I have some example code, and a book recommendation.

  • How can I open a document created in Classic on MacOS X?  When I tried to open it, it says Classic Not Supported. What do I do?

How can I open a document created in Classic on MacOS X?  When I tried to open it, it says Classic Not Supported. What do I do?

    The short answer is:
Single click on the document you created in Classic, bring up your 'popup' menu (right click or control-click), select 'Open With' and choose the Mac OS X application you believe will open the document.
If this does not work. Tell us which Classic application you created the document with and which applications you have which you believe will open your 'classic' document.

How do I save a document created in pages in iphoto?

Thanks, I will try that process.
I used to be able to convert Pages document easily to iPhoto before I upgraded to Lion.  Used to be able to go to: File > Print> PDF (bottom left corner of print dialog box)>Save as PDF to iPhoto.
Now if I do that I have option to save as PDF to iTunes but not to iPhoto.
The advantage of saving Pages to iPhoto was that it was very easy to send email of collages of photos created in Pages.

  • How can I read a document created under "pages" on a Mac book air on an other computer

How can I read a document created under "pages" on a Mac book air on an other computer or even send this document in a mail to anyone ?

Only Pages, Preview, Pages for iCloud beta, and Pages v2 or later on IOS 7 can open native Pages v5.2.2 (.pages) documents. Sending a Pages v5.2.2 document to someone without Pages v5.2.2 is futile.
If you are using Gmail or Dropbox, you will need to right-click on that Pages document, and then choose compress from the contextual menu. You can then attach filename.pages.zip, because it appears as a single document, and not a folder.
Pages v5.2.2 has a Share button on the Toolbar. Providing your document is already in iCloud storage, you can Send a Link to iCloud via the following:
The Share toolbar icon also allows you to Send a Copy to Email, Messages, and AirDrop. This will present you with the document export sheet, the same one you get if you chose to File > Export To menu item, as the alternative.
If you are sharing document content with an MS Office user, then the document you want to send them is either a Word .docx, or .doc. If they want just a read-only view of your content, send a PDF, for improved cross-platform exchange.

How can i access my docs (pages) in my iCloud from my iPad? I do no have pages in my iPad? help please

Why would you want to access your Pages documents on the iPad if you don't have Pages?
If you wanted to email them to someone, you could have done that on the Mac. If you want to edit them on the iPad you need the app on the iPad.

  • How do I access external hard drive connected to AirPort Extreme via iPad

    Hello,
How do I access external hard drive connected to AirPort Extreme via iPad / windows laptop.
I donot have a Mac and I use windows laptop.

For your iPad, you will need an app, like FileBrowser, to access the external drive.
For your Windows laptop, you would access the drive like any other network share. The basic format is: \\<servername>\<sharename>, where, in this case, the servername is the base station name and the sharename is the name of the external drive.

How do I move a document from my MacBook Pro to my iPad?

What kind of document is it?  Keep in mind that you may need an app on the iPad to do anything with the document.  You can sync documents to particular apps by opening iTunes with your iPad connected, select the iPad in iTunes and click the Apps tab:
Then scroll down to the File Sharing area, select the target app and drag a document to the Documents box.
Alternately, you could use something like Dropbox to sync documents between your MBP and your iPad, as well as any other devices you like.

How do you access your itunes library from the icloud on your ipad?

You have asked two different questions?
Your account is just a user name and password.  You can access that to buy content from any computer with itunes, just sign it.
Your library wil only be where your put it. Yo can copy it from one computer to another, or from your backup copy of your computer ot another computer. In some countries you can download some past itunes purchases.

How do I access a semaphore from global?

    You don't.
The whole point of zones is to separate the namespaces so zones appear to be separate physical machines.
You need to think of them that way.

How do I access my Word and Excel documents when I download Lion?
    Bob

There shouldn't be any problem accessing them, unless you have an older version of Office such as 2004 and earlier. In that case, you'd need to update them, or switch to iWork (Pages and Numbers) which can read those files.

  • HT3258 How can I access word documents?

After updating to icloud, and updating the software on my macbook, I can no longer access word documents.  I have been using pages to open documents, but need to know how to get back to my word documents?
This is completely frustrating as I never would have upgraded to icloud knowing I would lose access to the documents.

    HI RealExport,
If you're logged on the ExportPDF service, you can download your converted files from the bottom of the screen (click View All to see all converted files). Just click the Download icon that appears when you mouse over the file. The file will download to your desktop, and you can open it from there.
Please let us know how it goes
    Best,
    Sara

  • HT201104 How can i access my documents that are in iCloud, I am not ready to upgrade to cloud drive

I am unable to access my pages documents stored in iCloud, it appears I have to upgrade to cloud drive, as I am using iMacs that is not a option, any solutions

I am unable to access my pages documents stored in iCloud,
Have you upgraded your iCloud account to iCloud Drive by upgrading your mobile devices to iOS8? Then you can only access the documents by upgrading the Macs to iCloud drive as well.  See this link:  iCloud Drive FAQ
If you did not upgrade any device to iCloud drive, don't do it right now.
