  • How do I access my music in the cloud on my Iphone?

I turned on Itunes Match and should be able to access my Itunes music from the cloud.  However, nothing is there... no playlist, not even 1/10 of my music.  How do I access my music from the cloud?

    Hi there Ginger,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
The article linked below provides troubleshooting tips that should help you resolve the iTunes Match issue that you're running into, where most of your music isn’t appearing in iCloud.
How to troubleshoot iTunes Match - Apple Support
    Songs appear to be missing
Songs containing DRM (Digital Rights Management) might not appear in iCloud, or might appear grayed out. This can occur if your computer is not authorized to play that content. Try authorizing your computer, then manually update iTunes Match. To determine what Apple ID your computer needs to be authorized for to play a specific song:
Locate and select the song in your iTunes library.
    Choose File > Get Info.
In the Summary tab, locate the Account Name field in the right column. Write it down.
    Click OK.
Choose Store > Authorize this Computer.
Type in the account name from the Summary field and enter its password. Click Authorize.
Choose Store > Update iTunes Match.
    So long,
    -Jason

  • My library will not let me access some tunes because they are tied to an Apple ID that is and old email address and that address is no longer valid. How do I access my music without the old password?

I can only access part of my Itunes library.  Some of the music is tied to old Apple ID's that are email addressed that are not active.  How do I access my music?  I've tried everythign and been to the Apple store multiple times with no resolution.  They suggested I call Apple support and have the security team assist.  I can't get a hold of anyone in security and both times I called support they hung up on me mid conversation?  Very nice...

Go to Settings, and then turn iMessage and FaceTime on if they are off.  If they are on, then turn them both off, restart the phone, then turn them back on.
Go back to Settings > iCloud.  Whether the current or old email address is displayed there, try your current password.

  • How do I access purchased music across all platforms?

Music previously purchased in iTunes is now in the 'music' app on my iPad mini. It's no longer on my iTunes playlist.  How do I access this music on my MacBook air?

    I am guessing you mean:
The iTunes application on your MacBook Air
The playlist entitled "Purchased" in iTunes on your MacBook Air
Make sure you are signed in to iTunes on your MacBook Air using the same Apple ID and password that you are using on your iPad.

  • How do I access the music from my Mac drive while booted into Windows?

How do I access the music from my Mac drive while booted into Windows via Bootcamp? I tried using MacDrive but it's not supported for Vista 64-bit edition. Is there another program out there that I can use? I just want to be able to access my music that's on Leopard while in Vista. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Your best bet is to move the music on the Windows side since Leopard will be able to read and play the music from the mounted Windows drive (Leopard will not be able write anything to the Windows NTFS partition).
In your case it won't work the other way around.

There is a forum for iCloud on my Mac, I would recommend posting there or iCloud on IOS devices forum.

  • How do I access Your Music on the iPad app?

I mostly listen to albums, not playlists.
I used to keep all my saved albums on Spotify as playlists - but following the update I re-saved them all as saved albums under 'Your Music' (on the new desktop app for OS X) and deleted my old playlists (assuming I wouldn't need them anymore).
This was fine on my iPhone as now I can access my saved albums under the 'Your Music' However, I then tried this on my iPad and couldn't find a way to access 'Your Music' at all?
How do I access 'Your Music' and/or saved albums on the iPad app?

  • How can I access my music in the iCloud?

how can i access my music from my itunes on my Mac, on my Mc book pro?

There isn't currently any iCloud music streaming, if that what you mean.
iTunes Match will be coming, probably late October, early November. That will provide streaming.
If your just talking about music you bought on, say, your iPhone and want it to appear on your Mac, go into iTunes preferences (on your Mac), click the "Store" icon and make sure that Automatic Downloads are turned on. That will keep your Mac iTunes library up to date when you buy on your iDevice.
If you've got older stuff that you need to download, you can go into your Purchased section in iTunes and click on "Download Previous Purchases" which should show you everything you've bought. You can re-download from there.

How do I access my music in iTunes without downloading? I want to hear the music not save it on multiple devices...

Thanks, I tried that. It shows me only the songs i purchased and just gives me a snippet of the song. After much more reading and a phone call, it looks like Match will stream all the songs in my iTunes account without having to download them, but of course for a fee :( Thanks though.

  • How can I access my music library from a laptop on the road, as if my PC is not active? I tunes is installed on both PC and Home Sharing is enabled on both devices.

How can I access my music library from a laptop on the road, as if my PC is not active? I tunes is installed on both PC and Home Sharing is enabled on both devices.

The key constraint for Home Sharing in this context is that both PCs need to be on the same wifi network. So once you get out of range of the wifi network covering your home PC, the laptop is not going to be able to Home Share.
Have you considered importing your iTunes music to the laptop? Then you could listen to a local copy of the music on the laptop while you're on the road. (You can do the import via home sharing when both computers are on the same wifi network.)

  • HT204053 How do I access photos in the cloud

How do I access photos in the cloud?  I've downloaded them to a laptop but I'm unable to delete them from the cloud.  it's used up all of my storage and I can't backup my iPhone because I don't have enough storage.

If you're talking about photo stream photos, those don't take up any of your iCloud storage so deleting them won't save any space in your account.  You can delete them using your phone by opening your my photo stream album, tapping select, tapping the photos and tapping the trash icon.  Be sure to copy them out of the my photo stream folder on your computer before doing this or they will be deleted from your computer too.
This article provides some suggestions for reducing your iCloud storage: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4847.

  • How do I access purchased music on my new computer?

I recently got a new computer and want to transfer music I previously purchased and that is on my iPod to my iTunes music account. How do I access that music? Or how do I transfer music from my iPod to my iTunes account?

    MTA788 wrote:
So you are saying if it was not backed up...the song will have to be purchased again??? does not seem fair or right...
If you don't have your computer backed up, then how are you also going to transfer your pictures, save email messages, video files, etc.
    iTunes purchases are no different.
Unless you are going from Mac to Windows or from Windows to Mac, you can copy the entire iTunes folder in the music folder before launching iTunes, or overwriting the one it just made if you already have, and iTunes will go through a quick update of it's music library and you're done.
If you have jumped between Windows and Mac, then just copy the music library folder within the iTunes folder to your new computer and have iTunes search and import it all.
