I cannot access the print setup option in ‘print booklet’ in CS6 to change the paper/image orientation from portrait to landscape. I am trying to save it as a .ps file so I can take a print ready pdf to the printers. But the resulting pdf that saves now is cropping my A4 (to be A5 after stapled) 2up saddle stitched booklet. As in the spread stays landscape, but the A4 paper in portrait. Can anyone help me please?

All ink cartridges have been replaced and it hasn't printed since.

How do I access the audio in option without a remote on the dav-tz140?

I'm trying to set up my home theater system so that my tv sound will play from the home theater system. I hooked up the analog cables correctly and saw that it suggested that I use the audio in option. I do not have a remote and need to access this option. Is there a work around? Also, if this isn't the issue, please help.

Unfortunately, Apple removed the feature to "browse backups" in Time Machine backups of iPhoto a few years ago.
You have to restore the entire iPhoto library to a separate location to be able to "see" it, and then choose the specific images that you want use.

Have you formatted these new drives yet with Disk Utility? That is the first step.
Once they are formatted, if you want to see them on your desktop open the Finder preferences, General, and clock the checkbox that says "Show these items on the desktop" for the hard disks. If that preference was already set you should see the drives appear after they are formatted. Then they are there for you to use as you wish.

How can I access the savestore.js contents if the command about:sessionrestore shows a blank box even for already succesfully used backups?
Is there a recent known problem with the about:sessionrestore command or is there any other way understandable to Firefox 29.0.1 through which recover the information stored in the sessionstore.js files.
It seems the command about:sessionrestore is not capable anymore to read the contents of the sessionstore.js file present in the user profile folder.
The box where windows and tabs should be listed is empty.
I tried to paste a few old sessionstore.js files in the user directory while the firefox.exe process was not active, then opened Firefox again and tried to launch the about:sessionrestore command without any result.
I think the files are not corrupted because I used most of them in other occasions and I stored them in folders not connected to the common use of any process.
Also, I already successfully used the about:sessionrestore command in Firefox 29.0.1 in a few other occasions.
I did a "clean reinstall" of Firefox 29.0.1 and the box contained in the tab where about:sessionrestore is executed is still empty even if the files themselves contain such information as tabs location and html addresses.
After this I recovered the profile data I had stored in another folder and this is what you can see attached to this question.

this just started w/ me yesterday. I was running 10.5.3, and nothing changed - the message just appeard out of nowhere. I update to the latest iTunes 10.6 but the message is the same.
Sounds like probably some sort of Library file corruption.
The two options available in the message box are "Download" and "Quit". Download is useless because I'm already running the latest. Quit is pretty useless.
I was going to just create a new Library and re-import all my music. Of course, all my iPhone sync settings are going go have to be recreated.

Hello, this may be a very stupid question, but how do I access the firewall in my brand new Airport Extreme? According to the Apple specifications, it contains a built-in firewall, yet I cannot find any mention of this when using Airport Utility to set up the Extreme.
I am using the Extreme connected directly to a modem on the UK BT Infinity fibre optic broadband system using PPoE. The modem is not a combined modem/router, it is a modem only, hence using the Extreme to set up my network, which I have to say (apart from this one question) was incredibly easy. The wireless system is protected as WPA2 Personal.
Router mode is "DHCP and NAT" and "Enable NAT port mapping protocol" is ticked as on - is that it? Is that all I have do to have the firewall on? Should I also have "Enable Default Host" ticked as well? Apologies if this is a silly question - I do not understand firewall set-ups.
I am using 10.7.3 Lion on my MacBook Pro and have a Mac Mini on Snow Leopard connected to the Extreme, plus the usual assortment of iPads, iPhones, Apple TV and iPod Touch.

I don't use this setting, so can't offer much assistance, but do know that your computer is exposed to the Internet, so it will receive all inbound traffic.

The information side-bar from iPhoto has been removed in Photos App, and so it's been converted into a pop-up window showing both the exposure, aperture and so technical photo parameters, as well as the comments, faces and LOCATION for that photo.
This small floating window is shown whenever you click the button in the app title bar, right clicking a specific photo or pressing ⌘i
If you open the albums view (clicking in the name of the album list, NOT an album name, you can see in your left sidebar - which can be shown or hidden) and press ⌘i without selecting a specific photo the Info pop-up will show the map for your whole library (as well as the total amount of photos, videos, GB used, etc)
So, I'm afraid the "Locations" view (which I really loved) from iPhoto has been ripped off... and we can only get "some sort of locations view" by this method.
As for locations... there is no option for manual geotagging (so, setting location to a specific photography which doesn't have it yet)... that really ****** me off

I have recently installed a free update of Mavericks on the App store. However after installing this, the Macbook Pro that i've installed on will not boot beyond the Grey start up screen. I was running Snow Leopard on a machine with intel core 2 duo processors 4 Gb of RAM and over 100Gb of free memory.
I have attempted a safe boot (holding down shift while while holding the power button down), and Reseting the NVRAM by pressing 'command', 'option', 'P' and 'R' at the same time.
I do not have an installation disk or a time machine back up.
Does anyone know how to get passed the Grey start up Screen?
Any Suggestions would be mucho appreciated.

We'll need to know more to beable to help. Do you want to try to restore your photos from your iPhone to your Mac, or try to recover the photos from the old iPhoto Library on your Mac?
What is the situation of your Mac now? In hat way did it crash? A hardware problem with the drive? Does the system not start properly? Does iPhoto not launch? Do you still have the iPhoto Library on your mac or a backup, so we could try to rescue the photos there?

On the iPhone you cannot access the "package contents" - IOS hides the file system from the users. To restore photos from your phone share all iPhoto photos to your Camera Roll, that are not already in the Camera Roll, and then connect the iPhone via USB and import the Camera Roll to iPhoto or Image Capture. To retrieve photos from a corruptrd iPhoto Library on your Mac we need to know the version number and more about the "crash" you experienced, the state of your mac, the system, the data. Please post back with more details.
