How do I access the cloud to manage what is there?

HHow do I see what is on the Icloud.

Howdy beejay20,
As I undersand it you want to be able to look at what is taking up your iCloud storage. You can do that with the following article:
Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support
You can also log into your account at www.icloud.com and look at the content you have in there as well.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I assume you mean you saved it to the MobileMe iDisk - you were a paid subscriber to this? MobileMe closed last August (after a year's worth of warning emails and online notices) and if you didn't retrieve your files from the iDisk they have been deleted and are not recoverable by any means. There is no equivalent facility in iCloud.

I downloaded a document from my email into Pages and everything I had in Pages is gone. How do I recover it?

Login to www.icloud.com and check if you have anything in the cloud.
If not there - try to figure out why it is gone and where is the last back up.

  • How do I access the cloud and moreover, why are my pictures not on my Itunes, even though they're backed up on the cloud?

In trying to sync my Iphone 4, I noticed that none of my pictures are not my Itunes, even though they've been backed up on the Cloud.  My Itunes also states that I'm over my space by .4 GB although my phone says i still have 2.7 GB of space left.  I'd like to delete my pics off my phone, but not until I know they're backed up properly.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

photos taken on your iphone and show up in photostream on your ios device can be automatically downloaded to your computer.
if you have a mac, the photos in photostream automatically download into your iphoto application
    http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html
if you have a pc, the photos in photostream can automatically be downloaded into a folder called "photostream" in your photos folder on windows.
    http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html
you no longer are required to ever hook up your ios device to your computer to extract photos again (you will have to if you want to get videos off of your iphone).  Simply connect your computer to the internet at least once a month, and all photostream photos will download into the proper place (outlined in the above links).

  • HT201272 how do i access the cloud i have downloaded some tracks on some albums but they dont play so i deleted them  i went to download them again but they are album only tracks so itunes store wont let me how can i get my tracks back? please help

how do i get tracks back that i deleted that are album only tracks, i downloaded it and it would not play now i cant re download it please help

About a minute and a half into some tracks it skips to the next. Not on all the tracks but on most of them.
Try again, just redownloading the tracks which are skipping. (The servers for the Store seem to have been a bit extra-cranky with this over the past day or so in particular ... some folks have had to try redownloading again a couple of times.)

  • How/where do I access the Cloud? (Also, how can I reformat files?)

The Cloud appears to be working well for me, immediately replacing flawed or non-playing tracks/audio files/ tunes with perfect, matched files at 256 kbps.  However, I've encountered two apparent "roadblocks":
    1.  How can I access the Cloud directly to see if music that is NOT appearing in my iTunes program, or in my computer's library, is in the Cloud?  I have no doubt there are tunes stored in the Cloud that I'm unaware of.  When I go to iCloud from my computer, I see categories for only the following: Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Find My iPhone, and iWork.  But I don't see any category/symblol/icon for iTunes.  Where is the music/iTunes cloud, and how do I get there?
    2.  I'm having difficulty uploading some files to Apple's or Amazon's clouds because they have wrong, or no, compression. Formerly, I recall that under "Preferences" in iTunes, the user was offered a variety of different formats and compression rations: AAC, MP3, Lossless, WAV, AIFF, etc. In the most recent version of iTunes I'm not seeing any provision for such reformatting.  Is it still possible to alter file compression within the iTunes program, or must I download an external program to change compression ratios of certain files?
Thanks for any enlightenment re: either of the above questions.
    Cap

I think I'm on to the 2nd question--i.e. the conversion of files.  It's a matter of clicking on "Import Settings" under the "General" category in iTunes "Preferences".
The first question (above) continues to trouble me.  For example, there are a number of files in my iTunes program that show up as in the Cloud but are "shaded."  When I delete these files, moreover, I'm not greeted by a spanking new version from the Cloud.  They appear to have been deleted for good--unless there's some way to access the Cloud's contents.
Some of the files are extended, personal files, recorded from an FM broadcast, lasting around 60 minutes.  So it makes sense that the iTunes Match function would not find corresponding files. However, they've been saved, and most of them are playable are playable from my iTunes program.  The shaded ones are not playable--and when I deleted them, there was no replacement.

Did you have the phone set to backup things to the One Drive on Microsoft servers?

how to access the cloud from my pc?

Go to Verizonwireless.com, log in to your account (or register your phone number if you haven't done so).  Once logged in, Go to My Verizon, My Device, Backup my contacts.  That should bring you to your Cloud "dashboard" - where you can view Contacts, Photos, Videos, Music,Documents, and anything else  you've sent to Verizon Cloud.
If this doesn't work for you, then where does it break down?  Do you get any error messages?

So you purchased iTunes Match? Enable iTunes Match on your other device.
This is the only way to upload.

  • How can a 2nd generation iPod Touch access the Cloud?

I am a MobileMe user with a 2nd generation iPod Touch and a Macbook. I do not have an iPhone. I have upgraded iTunes to 10.5 and want to upgrade my iPod Touch to ios5 so I can be ready to switch to the cloud when MobileMe expires for my email, calendars, contacts, etc.—but nothing happens when I plug the iPod Touch into my computer. Can I download ios5 some other way? If not, how will I be able to access the Cloud when MobileMe quits?

You can only upgrade 3rd Generation and 4rth generation iPod touches to IOS-5, sorry, see this page on the compatability: http://www.apple.com/ios/features.html

  • I have a macbook pro OS 10.5.8. I've sync'ed it with an iPad 2. I would like to access the "cloud" but it seems my Leopard isn't sufficient. How high an OS upgrade would i need to use cloud? Most of my current apps wouldn't work with a too high upgrade.

I have a macbook pro OS leopard 10.5.8. I've synced it with an iPad 2. I cannot access the cloud because my OS is insufficient. Problem is most of my most- used applications would not work with a too-high system upgrade. I can't afford to upgrade all my apps. I need to know: what would be the least-high system upgrade I can install in order to access the cloud on my new iPad 2?
    MAC O.S. 10.5.8 - LEOPARD
    MacBookPro
    MacBookPro4,1
Intel Core 2 Duo - 2.5 GHz; speed 800 MHz
    Quark Express 7.3
    Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro
    Adobe Photoshop CS 3
    Adobe Illustrator CS 3
    Adobe InDesign CS 3
    Microsoft Office 2008
    Extensis Suitcase Fusion 12.1.7
    Stuffit 12

Define "access the cloud". I can access my iCloud.com account on my 5 year old iMac at work running OS X 10.4.11 Tiger. I can download and upload Word documents and Pages documents in the iWorks section of my iCloud.com account.
What do you want to access in "the cloud"?
Snow Leopard would be your next system upgrade and you should be OK with the CS3 applications, and Office 2008. I cannot confirm that the other applications will work.
This is quite old, but take a look or Google the other applications to see if they are compatible with SL.

  • How do I access my cloud storage

    My need:
I am new to Edge Animate.  I need to build animations that can be accessed by Mac OS and Windows OS, which is why I went with Edge Animate.
    My question(s):
    1) I have a valid Cloud subscription.  I need to know how to access the Cloud storage.
    2) Can I create a storage folder on the Adobe Cloud that will allow my team members to test the web pages and animations created in Edge?

You can use file syncing and collaboration to share your Edge Animate work.
File syncing: Creative Cloud Help | Manage and Sync files
Collaboration: Creative Cloud Help | Collaborate by sharing folders
If you just want to share a read only view of a folder use the Send Link feature instead of Collaborate.

  • I have converted a pdf to word. How can I access the Word file from my online account?

I have converted a pdf to word. How can I access the Word file from my online account? When it says 'download the converted file' I choose a location on my PC and click, but nothing happens. It seems that it can only save the converted file to my online account. I went to my online account but I see no way to look for the file

    Hey Fabrizio,
You might need to sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf" using your Adobe ID credentials to convert your PDF file to Word.
Do you get the 'download' prompt?
Also, you can find the converted files by clicking at the 'Files' tab.
Please try the same using a different browser and check.
    Hope to hear from you.

    Anubha
