How do I access the groups selected in DisplayNewUserDialog?

I am developing a user manager for a deployment so that the production floor manager can add users as they are trained. I modified the simple OI to add a button "Manage users", which is implemented as a VI.
I have this pretty much working except when I add a user using the DisplayNewUserDialog, I don't see any way to access the groups that can be selected in the dialog. Selecting a group in the dialog apparently does nothing. I save the user object that gets passed back from the dialog and that "sticks". But the group selection doesn't stick nor do I see any way to access the selection. Using the DisplayEditUserDialog on the same user object does properly save selected group membership(s) without having to make an extra call.
I see that in the example CreateDeleteUsers.seq, there is a step "Add User to Group" which looks up the group by the name selected by the user. To paraphrase the steps:
Add new user: RunState.Engine.UsersFile.UserList.SetPropertyObjectByOffset(0, 0x1, Locals.User)
Add user to group (sets privileges): RunState.Engine.GetUserGroup(Locals.GroupName).Members.SetValStringByOffset(0, 0x1, Locals.User.AsUser.LoginName)
I don't see how I can programmatically retrieve that group name ("Locals.GroupName" above) from the dialog box, nor from the user object that is returned from the dialog box. Is this a bug?

Update: I misunderstood the dialog somewhat. It allows you to copy privileges from a group, not select the group itself (although I still didn't see any evidence that the copied privileges stick either). Since I want to put a newly added member in the "Operator" group, I will have to train the floor supervisors to first add the user and then edit (using the edit dialog) to add the user to the correct group. I'm kind of happy with the VI. Here are some screen shots:
The current user cannot delete himself. If he has admin privileges, he can add and edit.
Users with admin privileges can select from the list of users (alphabetized) and add, delete, or edit.
Users without admin privileges can only change their own record, and only their password within that record.

yes, i should expand.....the external hard drive i link iphoto to has had an error and basically the iphoto package is hoarding all of my photos so i'm searching everywhere i can to piece back the 1 TB of photos that are gone. data recovery is too expensive from what i have found so i'm left trying to do this! i have another external drive that backs up my entire system on a regular basis throughout the day. i was able to recover the iphoto library from a few months ago before it was deleted (it had been backed up). so i'm only missing a few months of photos now. i was hoping if i could access the trash files (if they're backed up on this drive) that i would find photographs that had been on my desktop and then i'd put in the trash......does that help clarify??? so i basically want to look in the trash bin that was backed up in several files on this drive (IF that's even possible!) thanks for your help!!!

Hi Julia,
when user select one element in drop down it automatically set lead selection of node binded to dropdown.
For example if you bind a dropdown to node myNode with value attribute myAttribute the lead selection of node myNode is set in the position of element choose from user.
So to take this chooised element use this code:
wdContext.currentMyNodeElement.getmyAttribute()

The phone answered this for me - when I connected the iPhone5 to my computer it gave me a choice which included "restore from backup". Problem solved

How can I access the Attribute Values from the Search Region

I have a table which contains Company id, department id, and PositonId. For a particular Company and Department there may be multiple records.
I have to pupulate a table which contains the position and other details that comes under a particular Department and Position based on the selection in the Three comboBoxes.
Also I have to populate a select many Shuttle to add new postions and records under a particular Department.
I created a query panel *(Search Region)* for the serch and a table to display the data. That is working fine.
Now the issue is I am using a view criteria to populate the shuttle with two bind variables ie, DepartmentId and CompanyId.
If the serach will return a resuktant set in the table it will also pupulate the correct records, otherwise ie, if the if the serch result is empty the corresponding iterator and the attribute is setting as null.
SO I want to access the attribute values from the Search Region itsef to populate the shuttle.
I don't know how can I access the data from the Search Region.

In iBooks if I have more bookmarks than can fit on a single page, how do I access the second page of bookmarks?

In iBooks when I access the Table of Contents and select Bookmarks sometimes my list of bookmarks and Highlites & Notes is larger than can be displayed on a single page of the screen. How can I access the list of additional Bookmarks and Notes that are were not displayed? Trying to tap for the next page gives no response. Am I limited to a list that only fits on one page of the screen?

How can I access the savestore.js contents if the command about:sessionrestore shows a blank box even for already succesfully used backups?
Is there a recent known problem with the about:sessionrestore command or is there any other way understandable to Firefox 29.0.1 through which recover the information stored in the sessionstore.js files.
It seems the command about:sessionrestore is not capable anymore to read the contents of the sessionstore.js file present in the user profile folder.
The box where windows and tabs should be listed is empty.
I tried to paste a few old sessionstore.js files in the user directory while the firefox.exe process was not active, then opened Firefox again and tried to launch the about:sessionrestore command without any result.
I think the files are not corrupted because I used most of them in other occasions and I stored them in folders not connected to the common use of any process.
Also, I already successfully used the about:sessionrestore command in Firefox 29.0.1 in a few other occasions.
I did a "clean reinstall" of Firefox 29.0.1 and the box contained in the tab where about:sessionrestore is executed is still empty even if the files themselves contain such information as tabs location and html addresses.
After this I recovered the profile data I had stored in another folder and this is what you can see attached to this question.

The information side-bar from iPhoto has been removed in Photos App, and so it's been converted into a pop-up window showing both the exposure, aperture and so technical photo parameters, as well as the comments, faces and LOCATION for that photo.
This small floating window is shown whenever you click the button in the app title bar, right clicking a specific photo or pressing ⌘i
If you open the albums view (clicking in the name of the album list, NOT an album name, you can see in your left sidebar - which can be shown or hidden) and press ⌘i without selecting a specific photo the Info pop-up will show the map for your whole library (as well as the total amount of photos, videos, GB used, etc)
So, I'm afraid the "Locations" view (which I really loved) from iPhoto has been ripped off... and we can only get "some sort of locations view" by this method.
As for locations... there is no option for manual geotagging (so, setting location to a specific photography which doesn't have it yet)... that really ****** me off

I made a movie some time ago in iMovie, and a still from this now appears as the image for Finalized Movies in the All Events pane (as well as showing up if I then click on this pane to take me to Finalized Movies). Anyone know how to change or delete this image, please?

I copied and pasted it to both "img100.png" files keeping this way the format (extension) and resolution of the original "img100.png" file,
which I permanently deleted.
However, I have not been able to replace the img100.pgn in C:\Windows\Web\Screen even after taking ownership of it and setting the permissions for my userid to All. I edit it with mspaint and then try to save it. The save starts that then says the
save was interrupted.
The appears to be some additional protection besides the standard acls.

There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps. If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later: You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.

On our 4.5 - IIS system, we can acces it using the Request.ServerVariables("Remote_Addr") in the ASP pages.
We are deploying 5.0 on Java Portal and would like to be able to do this through the Portal's API so I can call it in one of our custom login Activity space or control etc.
I have looked documentation for the HTTPServletRequest object. It seems like we should be able to access it through one of the methods getRemoteAddr if we can get a handle to HTTPServletRequest object through the Plumtree's framework.
I think the XPRequest object encapsulates the HTTPServletRequest but I didn't see getRemoteAddr method listed in the Javadocs.
Is there a way to access the client's IP address through the Plumtree's framework?
I need to do this so we know the location of the user and in our business case we have fixed IP adresss which let us identify which location is user accessign the system from. We can't do this through preferences or profile because we have to use generic userid for the specifc group of users.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
