You need and IMAp email account that supports notes.
Set it up in mail, contacts,calendars in settings on you iPhone and system preferences on your mac and enable notes on both units.
Then navigate to settings>notes and select you email as standard account. Also go to the notes app and to "accounts" at the top left and select you email there.
This works for new notes, not for already existing ones.

Ok.
Open System Preferences, Apple Logo icon in the menu bar and then System Preferences or the Sys Pref iocon in the Dock and go to the Internet Accounts area and look at your iCloud account. It should list what is and isn't synced by a checkmark next to each item.
Also in the Contacts app click on Contacts in the menu bar and select Preferences then accounts and make sure your iCloud account is listed. You can also do that from the Internet Accounts area in System Preferences.

Forget trying to use iCloud for this - it won't do what you want. iCloud syncs certain data like contacts and events, but it doesn't sync "environments" on computers.

You can't, there is no connection between the services, use one or the other.

My guess is that there are problems with gestures yet to be worked out. One problem I see is that users don't wait long enough, or try hard enough (ha!) when using them. My guess is that when the machine is busy (indexing, rendering, etc.) that the gestures get hosed, but I am not a developer...so just a guess

I have recently upgraded to Mavericks and bought an iPhone 5s. Initially I used the id already registered with Apple but changed it after a few days having used it on both my phone and MacBook Pro. Once I changed my id on the website, my MacBook Pro is fine but my phone has not synched the new id although any changes I make to Calendar, Notes, Contacts, etc do synch between them - puzzling. Firefox 31.0 (Macbook Pro) computer shuts down when Bing is accessed.

On my Macbook Pro and Firefox 31.0 , Bing crashes, rolling a grey shade down my screen, forcing me to
execute a complete shutdown (no other option) and restart. Also tried Firefox in safe mode with no success.
So far this has only occurred with Bing and no other link.
Firefox on my PC runs Bing without any problems.
Ay suggestions would be helpful prior to reinstalling...

Thank you for trying Firefox Safe Mode and I am sorry to hear just the one site is not working.
Have you also tried to disable all plugins/ extensions to see if one of these is causing the issue?
Do you have a firewall or antivirus that may be blocking traffic from bing?
