How do i activate ICloud Texting in my Iphone? When i first downloaded update the blue box appeared in my outgoing texts and it was working. suddenly it switched back to green and regular texting before update. not sure what happened.

Check you iMessaging settng by going into settings>messages then make sure iMessage is on. If it is on then try restarting your iPhone by holding down the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo.

How do I activate iCloud when I don't have the mail?

I want to activate my iCloud account, but I don't have the e-mail needed to do so. How do I get a new mail to activate the account.

When I try to logon I get a pop-up message saying roffly translated:
Control your email on [email protected] to get infomation on how to confirm you accont
This mail I can't find, and I don't know how to a new if needed. I have access to the email accont refered to in the pop-up, it is a brand new accont I have tried to setup.

Yeah, Apple support did answer. But they only linked me to their "Troubleshooting creating an iCloud Backup" site, that tells nothing about real problems.
Well the point with the PROFILES was a very good point.
I thought about that previously but never analyzed it.
As I use the iPad private and for business there is a profile from my company whish has restrictions: "No icloud backup", even I have turned restrictions on. The profile gets active, as soon as I connect to my companies WLAN.
This is to hold up- and downstream bandwiths low.
So have to find out how I can create a "home" profile and activate that when I am outside.

Sorry, no text reflow on an iPad. Most PDF files don't reflow. I read tons of PDFs on Macs and never reflow them.

How do i activate iCloud email

I had a @mac.com email address. This account was configured as a MobileMe account on my iPad and iPhone. When I try to log into the iCloud settings option with that account the Settings app closes down (it still shows as running in the background). This happens on both my iPhone and iPad and happens whether I try to use my @mac or @me address. Similarly, if I go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and try to go to the settings for that MobileMe account the Settings app closes down. So, I can't delete the account and try re-adding it. I tried just adding a new iCloud specific account, but it tells me that an account that account is already added to my device. I've tried restoring my devices and just starting fresh but I can't restore them now that they're updated to iOS 5. Just keep getting errors that everyone else seems to be getting.
Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas on a fix?
One last thing I've noticed is that my email account is no longer accessible either. On my Mac it says Unable to connect. I've deleted and re-added the account and still get the same error. In System Preferences>iCloud on my Mac I have the Mail & Notes option selected. It sat at Starting... for 30 minutes or so before I closed System Prefs. When I re-opened System Prefs to check, it no longer said 'Starting...' and was still checked so I assumed it was working. If I uncheck and re-check it stays on 'Starting...' again.

Providing your Apple ID is not a .me or a .Mac address, you can change it with Apple and continue to use your account.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Once who have done this you can then correct it on your mobile device.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
If however, your Apple ID was a .me or a .Mac address, then you will need to create a new account, follow the instructions above for deleting your account on your mobile device and then tap the "create Apple ID" button to create a new account.

You can't, i'm sorry. What you're running into is the activation lock and it requires that the original owner release it with their apple ID before you can set it up.
