How do I activate my iPad2 and signup for 3g?

I bought a refurbished iPad2 wifi+3g (Verizon) from Apple instead of through Verizon because I got it at a discounted price.  I would like to activate 3g service and pay for one month.  How do I go about doing this?  I didn't see any instructions included with the iPad on how to setup a data plan.  Thank you.

Holy crap I finally figured it out!  Apparently I was calling the wrong number, and had to ask specifically what I needed.  If you purchase your iPad from Apple (new or refurb), you need to call 800-256-4646 and press 1.  Tell then you are interested in activating your iPad mobile broadband and you want to 1gig $20 pre-paid plan.  They will transfer you to the right department.  When you get on the phone with the CSR, ask for a tech.  If they wonder why tell them you have an iPad 2 Verizon model you bought from Apple and need to activate it on their network so you need to submit your MEID.  When you get to the tech, tell them what your MEID is (setting, general, about), and they will check to see if it is in their system.  If it is not, the tech will need to submit it, and the process take about 72 hours.
