How do I activate purchased version of Photoshop Elements 12?
I purchased a package through QVC that included Adobe Elements 12 with a Dell Inspiron Computer. I installed the program and was able to import pictures, but when I try to use the editor it wants me to sign up for the 30 free trial version of PE12. I entered the serial number when I installed. Because the Dell has Microsoft 8, I also changed my email to Outlook. I had a previous version of Photoshop Elements where I used a yahoo email. Now I am confused about which email I associated with PE12. Help!!!

Buy Now message for purchased version of Photoshop Elements 12
I keep getting the Buy Now message for my purchased version of Photoshop Elements 12.
I used the trial version before and think this may be what is causing the problem.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but this does not solve teh problem.I have already installed the version I bought on CD. It worked for a while, but then I got the message about the trial being over and I had to Buy Now.
I had been using the trial version before buying it on CD, so it is extremely annoying to be told I should be buying it now. I have bought it, but cannot use it as I cannot get past the welcome screen!
I have entered the serial number which came with the CD! But the Buy Now persists. If I could find anyone at Adobe to tell them, I would, but unfortunately there is no help line or contact email.

Can't seem to activate trial version of Photoshop Elements 6 (Mac)
I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop Elements 6 for my Mac earlier this morning to check it out and purchased a license online not too soon after. The serial that was sent to me from Adobe's shop does not seem to work in activating the trial version I have installed. I've been on hold for tech support for almost an hour now. Does anyone know how to get Photoshop Elements for the Mac up and running using a serial purchased from Adobe's shop?
Thanks for the response. I was hoping it wouldn't come down to that, but I decided to redownload the program (using the new link they provided) while on hold for tech support (which never answered in the hour I was waiting ) and reinstalled using that instead. I found out the 'proper' way of removing PSE from a response you gave in a previous thread and proceeded with the uninstall program. The newly downloaded file installed and updated without a hitch. Thanks again for your help!
I love how Bridge can be used to import my images from my camera to where I want them to go as well as organize my photo collection. Not only does it display a preview of my selected image, but it also displays various other information associated with my photos as well. There's practically no need for me to keep iPhoto in my Dock anymore! -

That's a browser error. Nothing to do with Adobe software.
Clear your browser cache and cookies. Or use a different browser. -
How can I tell what version of PhotoShop Elements my serial number corresponds to?
I need to reinstall Photoshop Elements Mac. I went to my Adobe Account and it lists Photoshop Elements and the its serial number, but it doesn't specify which version it corresponds to.
Twoputt I believe that error is resolvable. I would recommend posting a new discussion in the Photoshop Elements forum at Photoshop Elements. You may want to try searching the forum first as the error sounds familiar and I believe there is already existing discussions on how to resolve the error.

You need to deal with Adobe for you problem this is an Adobe Photoshop User forum site not part of Adobe support users here do not have access to Adobe activation servers and database. You need to get someone at Adobe to help. Adobe support is not what it should be. Good luck.

if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com -

i am with a university and i purchased the adobe photoshop elements for a faculty member of mine, how can he download it when it is in my name but he is the one needing it?
There is nothing to prevent him from downloading and installing the trial version (Adobe - Download free trial version Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 | Adobe). At the point all you need to do is provide him with the serial number so that he can activate it. If the intent is that he be the owner of the software then you might want to see about transfering the license...

According to Wikipedia, 4 years ago you would most likely have bought Photoshop CS5.
