How do i activate wi-fi on guided access mode?

i activated the guided access on my iphone 4 and i don't remember the passcode and to use the lost mode i need to connect to the wi-fi, but i had it disabled before activating guided access, so...ther's a bia problem, any of you can help me?

Tiago Hasuda,
Resetting your iPhone (by holding down the power and home button until you see the Apple logo) will disable Guided Access if there is a passcode set to unlock your iPhone.
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

Does anyone know how I might be able to access Picture Frame while being in Guided Access mode..?

I don't exactly understand your issue but if your stuck in guided access press and hold the power and home until you see your device turns off keep holding then when you see the apple startup logo let go (this is called a hard reset or a respring) this will force you out of guided access and into the home screen where you can unlock the device with out being stuck in guided access

  • I am stuck on the Subway Surfers app in guided access mode the info its giving me to fix it is a liar! none of the buttons will work all I can do is lock it unlock it and play subway surfers. I cannot turn it off and refuse to let it die. HELP ME PLEASE!!

Ok I dont understand this SOS!!!! Please dont tell me to restart my Ipad Cause none of the buttons work except the lock button and that will not allow me to turn it off please help all suggestions are welcome.

What you need to do is triple-press the HOME BUTTON three times. You will be prompted to enter your passcode. This will bring up the options for guided-access mode and you will then need to click "End" in the top corner.
Guided-access mode must have accidentally been enabled by triple-clicking the home button.

  • Guided Access Mode

My iPad 3 is stuck in guided access mode on one app.  I have tried disabling it with the 'triple click home' but it is not working. What can I do to fix this?

    Thank you!
I am not actually sure if it is related to Guided Access or not. It just keeps needing to be rebooted.

  • Auto wifi reconnect in guided access mode

Hi - I am using an iPad in Guided Access mode for a kiosk. I am using a browser as the main application and everything seems to be working great accept when I lose Wifi signal I can't get the browser to refresh the screen when it reconnects to the wifi. I have tried putting code into my page that say to refresh every "X" minutes and it doesn't work.
Any ideas on a setting I might be missing in the settings area that will allow for an application to refresh after losing wifi that will bring the webpage back up?
    Thanks so much!!!

Inputting an incorrect password results in a 10 second pause before being allowed to try again
I wouldnt try too many wrond attempts though

  • Disable zoom while in guided access mode

Anyone know of a way to disable zoom (Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Zoom) while in guided access mode?  Yes, it can be done manually prior to entering guided access mode but I'm looking for something more automatic.  My child has the uncanny ability of getting into zoom repeatedly while playing.
    Thanks

  • 4S is locked in guided access mode

My new 4S is stuck in guided access / learning / child mode. Now matter how many times I triple click the home button it does nothing. How can I get out of this setting?

Restart your phone, hold the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up.

  • How can I keep Guided Access going after battery is drained?

I sometimes put my son's iPod into Guided Access mode so he can listen to music, but not play games (i.e. at bedtime). He discovered that he can defeat Guided Access by draining the battery completely. He has an iPod Touch MD057LL/A (iOS 6.1.6).
Has anyone else encountered this weakness in the Guided Access feature? Does anyone know how to fix it?
    Thanks.

The good news. Congrats, you have a smart kid. The bad news. That's a loophole he exploited. There is no fix currently. In fact, he can just disable it by holding the home and sleep/wake buttons until he sees the Apple logo to do a reboot. It's only a matter of time before he figures that one out and doesn't have to wait for the battery to drain.

  • Deploying "guided access"

    Hello
At our University we want to use iPads for exams. For the exams we have an App. The students
should not have any other access on the iPad than the App for the exam. I know I can block the App with
"guided access" but as we have about 200 iPads it would quite take some time to do this "block" on every single iPad.
Is there a way to deploy a profile or something like that, so the iPads start after the boot our app in the "guided access" mode?
Thanks for your help in advance
    Gabriel

You can create different iPad profiles and push them down to the ipads as conditions warrent.  some of the mdms will monitor the ipads and when an incorrect profile is detected, the mdm will push down a new profile.  Thus, if you change the profile to what you need, then power on the ipad it should be about the same as at boot time.
You can only set the controls that the iPad supports.   Apple has left out controls that would be desireable.  If xserver will not let you set a control, I doubt that any other MDM would let you set the control.
You may be able to write an AppleScript to control the xserver.

  • Phone is stuck on guided access

Help used the new guided access feature and now wont let me unlock

Same here.  My daughter was playing in guided access and a notification interrupted her application.  After closing it, triple clicking the home button did nothing.  It just shows the "Guided Access Mode Enabled - Triple Click Home Button to Exit."  No easy fix, but you can plug it into iTunes and do a "Restore."  Make sure you do a backup before so you can just restore the whole thing exactly as it was before it got stuck.
Apple really needs to have an override for this in case it gets stuck; like plug it into iTunes and enter your AppleID. Until then, no more Guided Access for me...

  • Guided Access in Facetime gone since iOS 8 ?

SInce my update to iOS 8 it is not possible to enter Guided Access mode whilest in a Facetime call.
is this a problem with my iPad, or a new setting in iOS 8 ?
This option is particularly usefull to facetime with my child to my parents.
The kid is too young to understand the concept of a touch screen, and keeps pushing the noses of his grandparents on the screen :-)
And of course the red button when it appears, ending the call...
Can teh guided access mode please be re-enabled for a facetime call ?

    Unfortunately yes.
I Have same issue . Spent almost 1 hour with Apple care support . Interestingly I was  told that Apple disabled this feature on iOS 8 while you are in regular or face time call . Yes you are hearing it right . You can no longer be able to enable guided access while you are on any type of call. I repeatedly checked with senior tech support person and she has some internal notes that it is willful change from Apple and not a bug .i wonder why Apple would do such kind of things . But hey, it's Apple . There should have seen something that would have forced them to disable it . But unfortunately  it's hurting me bad . I can longer give my phone to my kids for  a face time call with  their grand parents . Poor grandma . They are gone miss their grand children. my iPhone is going to be no more part of my family . It will be just my personal device for good   .
there are some tricks here which you might want to try . I tried all of them with no luck
