How do I add 2003 Exchange account to Mail using Snow Leopard

I have my Exchange 2003 account working on my iPhone perfectly. I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and would like to add the account to Mail. When I go through the set-up it asks me different info than the iPhone did. I've tried several possibilities without success. Is Exchange 2003 functional with SL in Mail?

I believe Mail requires 2007, the same as the EWS version of Entourage.
Microsoft Exchange Server: Connectivity to Update Rollup 4 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (KB952580) or later version.
Update Rollup 4 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (KB952580) must be applied to both the Mailbox server and the Client Access server roles.

I have an exchange account at work. I have successfully, and easily, added it to my iphone and my ipad.
But I want to add it to Mail.
And I can't get it to work.
I've exchanged about a thousand emails with IT at work, and they don't seem to even understand what I'm asking. I just want to know what server info I need to enter, and they can't seem to tell me that.
And the server I entered on my phone doesn't work.
At my previous job I was able to add my exchange account, so I know it's possible.

If I choose Exchange 2007 under account type, it has blanks for 'internal server' and 'external server'. If I choose Exchange IMAP, it wants 'incoming mail server' and 'outlook web access server'
I don't know what to enter, and tech support doesn't seem to know either.
Is there a place I can find the server info, from within outlook on my work computer, on work's network?

Mail in SnowLeopard uses a feature called Exchange Web Services to interact with Exchange. It's possible that your Exchange server supports Exchange ActiveSync that the iPhone uses, but does not support Exchange Web Services. Can you ask your IT department if the server has EWS enabled?

Problems having my iCloud account on Mail (with Snow Leopard)!

I have contacted apple store, apple office in Norway and went on chat with MobileMe support, but so far, I am not able to have my iCloud again on my MAIL since it disappeared yesterday. I am a bit upset and it would be great if there is any solution other than what MobileMe support told me (to check this website: http://www.wilmut.webspace.virginmedia.com/notes/icloudmail.html)! If there is no other solution, then it is good for me to know that and stop trying. Also if there is no solution then I rather phase out of iCloud and not continue with their service.
Please ideas would be great.

You need to upgrade to Lion v10.7.2 Lion in order to use iCloud. It's not possible to enable iCloud on a Mac running v10.6.x Snow Leopard.

That is most likely due to the fact that your company was using a BlackBerry Enterprise server for its phone Exchange access. This address will not work for non-BlackBerry devices.
You need to get the server address from your IT department and make sure that ActiveSync is enabled on your account.

Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files.

Correct settings for adding Exchange account in Mail

I have successfully added an exchange account to my iPhone. However, to add the same account to Mail there different, additional settings that I cannot seem to get right.
the details I entered into my phone are as follows (please excuse the xxx's but I thought it best not to publish the full details of how to access my server!)
server: arexxx1.axxxring.com
domain: axxxring.local
username: daniel
password: xxxxxx
the settings that are required to add an exchange account to mail are:
incoming mail server
username
password
outlook web access server
outgoing mail server
can anyone advise me how the settings I entered into my iphone might apply to the fields in Mail or if it is even possible.
I am using os x 10.5.8 and exchange 2003.

Obviously you know your username and password so all you should require is the incoming and outgoing mail server addresses which you can obtain from the domain IT people who provide the Exchange account. I am not sure what the outlook web access server address is, but your IT people should know.

Essentially the Hub area is a home screen dedicated to your communication. Tap on the lower left icon and each of your messaging sections has its own dedicated 'icon.' As JC mentioned, it is new and it may take a while to get used to it.. but once you do it really is a great way to deal with the unified messaging idea and it also allows you to break down what you are looking at very quickly. To delete a mail account in Mail, open Mail, and go to Mail menu > Preferences > Accounts. Then, select the account you want to remove and press the - button.
Then, press the + button to add the AOL mail account

The only way to add to your balance in your iTunes Store account is with a prepaid card or gift certificate or, if you're in the US, you can set up PayPal as the payment method.
