I would like to make a DVD out of 3 projects I created in I movie. All the projects consists of photos and I added a different song for each and would like them to be in specific order. I downloaded them to I tunes but they rearranged the order of the project. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would "Share" each project , one after the other, to Media Browser. Then you can access them directly when you open iDVD (from the media browser in iDVD) , and drag each of them into the iDVD screen and burn the DVD.
I think that is what you want.

Try mydigitallife forums. There are threads about modding BIOSes and accessing the advanced option. It's not recommended by HP so you have to go somewhere else as the modding will cancel your warranty if something goes wrong.

There are, but not with a DVD written as a movie disk. It must be closed when completed, or it doesn't work.
Apple's built in Burn utility also automatically closes any data CD, DVD or Blu-ray disk you burn. Doesn't matter how much space is unused, you can't use it. You'd have to use a more advanced disk creation app, such as Toast Titanium. I then have the option of choosing to write the data as a session:
I can keep doing this until the disk is full. If I've written five sessions to the disk, when I put it in the drive, five CD/DVD icons will appear on the desktop since the OS will treat each session as if they are separate physical disks. At any point you choose Write Disk when writing a group of data, that means you're closing the disk, and again can't add anything after that. So if I had written two sessions, and the third was Write Disk, it's over. I can't put anything else on that disk.

Hi Lloyd,
Unfortunately this is a wishlist request as you cannot select the product attribute item when manually generating an order from the CRM at this stage.
The only workaround is to create the order on behalf of the customer on the front-end side of site.
I'll pass this feedback to our product team as well.

I currently have a 500 * 500 image which is the background of a JPanel (So I suppose I have a 500 * 500 JPanel, basically).
I would like to be able to place (20*20) buttons on various places of this image - for instance, add button1 at position (200, 420), then button2 at position (100, 480), etc. Is there a straight forward way to do this?

No. As noted both ways are separate.
Originally the MAS would recognize Apple software installed by the 'old' way - I have iWork installed and it was recognized - but - that ability was removed after several monts. What you buy as physical and as digital are separate.

How to: Open a project that was archived on a DVD....It just won't work!

I've only tried to archive 2 projects and both seemed to save properly and I thought I'd be able to simply insert the DVDs at a later time, click and there would be my full project. Unfortuntately, both times that I've tried this I've gotten the same pop up that says:
This project could not be opened because the disk is full, the folder is locked or the folder persmission are incorrect.
If the project is on CD- ROM, network server or locked disk, then copy it to your hard drive before opening it.
If the project is already on your hard disk, then the disk may be completely full, or you may not have permission to modify the folder. Correct the problem and try again.
I guess my problem is that I don't understand what I'm being told to do or just aren't doing it right.

you're right: dragging the whole icon in Finder into some folder just generates a socalled "alias" (=the icon has an arrow...).. this is just a "link" to the disk.. .when ejected, the link runs into empty...
you should, in Finder:
* open your "Movies" Folder
* insert data-dvd
* click on DVD's icon AND...
* hold the alt-key on your keyboard => mouse cursor changes into a little, green +symbol
* drag dvd into Movies Folder...
that needs some time => NOW the dvd's content gets copied to your harddrive..

How do you add non-Garage band instruments (orchestral instruments) into a Logic Pro (8) project so that you can hear those insrtruments' sounds on playback? I've tried to understand and follow the Logic Pro 8 User Manual, but the process comes off as so complex and the writing so technical that it does not help but only confuses.
To be precise - I want to add instruments (orchestral) that are not offered in the current Garage band menu which is offered in the Mixer's channel strip menus for Logic Pro 8. To be clear, the instruments that are offered are Bass / Drum Kits / Guitars / Mallets / Organs / Pianos and Keyboards / Synth Basics / Synth Leads / Synth Pads. Most of these that I've tried seem to work and give their characteristic sound when placed in a particular channel and playback is clicked.
However - there is one orchestra instrument offered in the standard Logic Pro 8 Mixer channel menu and it's the item labelled "Performance - 000 flute 1 or 001 flute 1." And it is this instrument that presents a problem. When I click on it and choose it from the menu and enter it as the instrument of choice for a specfic channel / track in my Logic Pro project arrangement, when playing back the music for the overall piece this particular track, the flute, does not playback and produce the notes (Midi events) in the track in the sound of the flute. Instead, nothing comes out at all. I can't imagine why this does not work. Any ideas, anyone? Again, when choosing this instrument for a track and clicking the playback no flute sound is forthcoming. Why not? I have not tried them all, but when most of the other various types of keyboards, such as an electric piano or an organ, are chosen for a track the playback successfully renders the sound of these instruments. Why then does playback not produce the sound of the flute when it has clearly been chosen to play and sound the Midi events given it?
Anyway, the overall, larger issue for me is the inability I have to choose and get non-Garageband instruments (largely orchestral) to play the Midi events given on various tracks. If my guess is correct then technically, orchestral instruments not offered in the standard Logic Pro 8 Garageband Mixer channel menu are referred to as external Midi sampled instruments - still, IMHO the process is not clearly spelled out in the User Manual. The simple step by step process whereby a non-Garage band instrument, say an orchestral instrument, is placed in a channel replete with Midi event (notes) waiting to be played should be easy, logical and given in a simple to follow format, but is not.
What with all the talk of routes, busses, auxillary channels, GM devices, GM mixers, audio bins, libraries and audio files this Logic Pro User is confused to the max. Can someone please help me and, in simple English, describe the step by step process whereby presumably external sampled orchestral instruments can be successfully employed, in any given Logic Pro arrangement project, to render their characteristic sounds upon playback?
On my two Macs, one a laptop and one a much larger Mac, I have any number of the GSO (Garritan Symphony Orceshtra) and Vienna Symphony Orchestra instrument library samples - and yet - I've yet to figure out how to actually get them INTO a Logic Pro project of any kind! To put this as a question, even as a humble request, how can I make good use of these orchestral sample libraries in a Logic Pro project? Can someone steer my to a clear resolution of this issue. David, you understand that this is professional software and is not necessarily meant to be easy but is in fact designed to give the professional user as many choices as possible, that's why it's in the Pro Apps section. You WILL need to learn about buses, GM Devices, Audio Bins, Libraries...etc..etc if you intend to use Logic.
That said, you are looking in the wrong place in the channel strip.
May I offer you advice?

I encourage you to read the whole document as it will clear up many things... even though it's a Logic 9 document.

Frank gave you the exact answer to your question.
However, I would like to ask if you are indeed asking the right question. Do you really want different libraries? The implications are that you have to "switch" libraries to see what's in the others, and so that your searches don't work across all of your pictures? If so, then you asked the right question. If not, you may be more interested in relocating your masters to multiple hard drives so your library gets smaller, instead of breaking up the library.
