I have an old g5 tower connected to an airport extreme that is connected to a cable modem (time Warner). I need to add an additional g5 tower in there somehow. Not sure how to do this. Tcp/ip settings?

Purchase a router.
Purchase another Ethernet adapter, and turn on Internet Sharing over Ethernet.
Purchase a WiFi card, and turn on Internet Sharing over Ethernet.

Best way for the first set up is to connect the Express via LAN cable to a computer.
Then enter the setup of the express and choose "Join a existing network"
After the setup is done, remove cable and you will see the Express in the Airport Utility

For the moment there isn't a way for us end-users to control what is "matched" or "uploaded." That is purely a result of Apple's server-side algorithms.
To re-add multiple songs at once simply highlight all the songs you want to re-add, then right-click (or Control+click) the list and choose "add to iCloud."

How can I make my computer only recognize my network and not that of one of my neighbors? This is for when I am at home, and everytime the computer goes to sleep it essentially loses the connection, only to pick up my neighbors network when it is awaken.

You can make your network the preferred network.
 > System Preferences... > Network > Advanced... > Drag your preferred network name to the top of the list.

How do I add a computer when the ip and dns address do not match?

I am using ARD to connect to a few computers at a remote site. The site has a Static IP, as well as each machine on the local network. One of the machines works fine (a Mac Mini running ARD 3.6), but that was set up a while ago, and any other machines (running ARD 3.6.2) I try to add will not work.
Basically, I want to add a machine with an IP address of the location (ex. 50.50.120.181), and the DNS name of the computer on the local network (ex. 192-168-1-21.lightspeed.stlsmo.sbcglobal.net). This is how the Mac Mini is set up and works. However, every time I try to change the DNS name, it changes the IP address to match (192.168.1.21). Since I'm connecting remotely, that doesn't work. If I try to change back the IP address, it just reverts it right back.
How do I get ARD to stick with the IP address I tell it to??

Open System Preferences
Click on Accounts
Click on the padlock and enter password
Click on login options
There you should see an option to disable "automatic login". You should also notice some other options there that you may or may not want. They should be pretty self explanatory.
The Security panel has an option to require password after sleep or the screen saver is invoked if you need it.

We purchased the ARD 3.0 for our networked Macs and so far it's been working fine. But we also have a remote user we'd like to add. This person is using a cable modem to connect to our VPN now but is moving and may have to use dial-up for a while.
So, how do I add them to this list? Get their IP address? What if the IP address changes?

But you should forget about supporting this user if they have a dialup connection, as it is far to slow to do 95% of ARDs tasks...especially control and observe.
