Thanks. That's a great resource, but it won't do what I want to do. Firstly, it seems that the password on that screen if for permission to modify the document. I'm only looking to prevent unauthorized viewing. Secondly, the 3rd party document is often already password protected by its creator.

Yes, I very well may be over thinking this, but I tried duplicating and moving it, but the text distorts slightly, which can be mostly remedied by rotating it on the x-axis, although the light is still off. And the shadows and reflections are not visible - this is pic1... In pic2, I used "rotate 3d object" with the green and red arrows, instead of just sliding it up the y-axis using the coordinates in the scene tab. Using the green and red arrows to move the text preserved the reflections but the shadows now aren't visible. It was also hard to align the text perfectly in scenario 2. Thanks for the help

How can I add new lumetri looks to Premiere Pro 2014?

I just downloaded some great new Lumetri looks, created for SpeedGrade, which I'm currently not using [much].
Since Premiere Pro now comes with a default set of Lumetri looks in the Effects panel, how would I go about importing these new effects for use in Premiere Pro?
I did find the /Documents/Adobe/Lumetri folder, but it doesn't have the actual Looks in it--just a user settings XML file. I searched for the names of the presets but didn't find them.
I also tried to add a New Preset or Custom Bin, but then couldn't figure out how/what to import.
Anyway, I'd love to be able to use these looks, right in Premiere Pro. Any advice?

If you choose export "movie" that is all AVI ....go lower to what you see here and you get lots of options...make sure video panel is active or the choices will be greyed out

I thought that with the latest updates to Pages that there would be 1:1 parity between the MacOS X and iOS versions of Pages. However, I am unable to figure out how to add video to Pages in iOS as I can easily do in Pages for MacOS X (just drag & drop). What is the secret to including video into a Pages for iOS document? Or is this just not possible? I don't see how audio can be added either. It seems to be Photos only from the + icon.

The video should be in your camera roll, tap the +, then the music note and choose your video.

I have a master copy full of work created on pages that i have worked on for the past two years. However, the other day i made a pages document separate from the master copy as it had to be marked on its own. Now that it has been marked and corrected i need to add it back to my master copy. As they are both pages documents is there anyway of doing this?

In Pages '09 copy and paste the Thumbnails.
In Pages 5 you will just have to copy and paste the content and fix up the layout in the new document.

We just switched to an iMac and am using iWorks '09 as the primary editor. One issue we've noted on Pages is the following. We have multiple folders of .doc files that we moved to the iMac and left in their original subfolders. We can open the imported documents fine in Pages but when we try to save them Pages tries to place them in the default Documents folder. We want them to be saved back to the original file folder they came from. What is the setting in Pages to make this happen automatically?

You choose the folder you want to save to. Pages will go there the next times until you tell Pages to save somewhere else. N.B. the setting isn't linked to the documents.
There is a app called Default folder. Find it on Internet and see if that meets your needs.

I got a mac pro and have updated to mountain lion, i use the mac cal to synchronize to mac cal on iphone 4s and vise versa, I got birthdays on my cal but would like to add anniversaries to it as well how do i add them so i dont forget important dates and also in my icloud i have 3 colours for different entries e.g. green for holiday , blue for home and green for work, so how do i add another colour for something else for a different entries called "events" and add anniversaries like birthdays. Ta Juss p.s i also have a problem with birthdays they all duplicated.....

Go to "File" and create a new calendar, name it "Events" or whatever you like and pick a color. Then, go to the date you want the anniversary on and create an all-day event naming it however you like. Under repeat, choose to have it repeat every year and select never for when it should end. You will now have a calendar of anniversaries and other events. Just make sure to select repeat every year and never end on each item you want in that calendar.
