How do I add a sepia-like filter to my drawings?

I've managed to convert my drawing to grayscale, but I was hoping there was a way to change the base color. For example, instead of Gray or Black being the base color for the grayscale, I was hoping I could have shades of Blue instead. It would be very similar to Sepia, except in Blue (or any other color). Does anyone know if this is possible and how I could accomplish this? Thanks in advance!

The above methods absolutely work.
This method allows you to actually assign new colors to artwork if needed.
With CS4 or CS5, select all and choose Edit > Edit Colors > Recolor Artwork.
First set the Colors drop down to 1
and in the "New" menu, choose Lightness - dark to light
Now click the preferences option and UNCHECK all the "Preserve" options and the Combine Tints option.
Now double-click on teh color indicator under "New" next to the grayscale indicator for the artwork. Pick your base color and click OK in the color picker.
Then click OK in the Recolor Artwork dialog and you should have a monotone image based on the color of your choice.
Note: This will not recolor raster images.

That was helpful, but I'm still having problems.
I've plonked a Facebook logo on the page.
BUT I can't seem to give it a hyperlink to my Facebook page.
When I select the logo and then use the tool bars or the box thingy. It won't allow me to paste in the URL.
It looks a bit ugly having a Facebook logo and the text of the URL beside it.
Is there a way of making the Facebook logo have a hyperlink to its URL so you just click on the logo and it takes you to the facebook page.

Show us the part of your code that actually does the output. If it's a Transformer, you'll need to put in the code that I posted in this forum twice just last week. The effects tab contains special filters and smart objects, so you can’t simply add a jpeg. You need an image, an XML file and a thumbnail. It’s probably easier to keep your artwork in a separate folder and then when you want to add a background to an open image click File à Place
Then navigate to your background and click Place. That will automatically open as a smart object on a separate layer and you can easily scale it to size or use blend modes/opacity, without loss of quality.

There are some third party application that can be use liked MathType Equation or MathMatic Personal that have the characters you need
Some fonts have alpha, beta and other characters and can be searched for in the Special character palette in the Edit menu.

How do you add a Facebook "like" button to a Fluid Grid layout?

There are two snippets of javascript from Facebook you're supposed to paste into two different places. Something about the Dreamweaver fluid grid makes it work differently, though, and I can't figure out what it is. I am having this same problem, but iTunes is messing up my artwork even more.
I bought some albums from iTunes in the last days. They show with their proper artwork in iTunes 12.0.1.26 on MacOS 10.9.5.
As as well organized German :-) I am used to change artist and album artist into "Lastname, Firstname" to get the right sorting. Doing this with this iTunes version lets the artwork disappear. Trying to add it manually fails as described in the original message.
Hoping for a quick bugfix. I won't buy any more music from iTunes as long as changing anything in the properties of the information tab creates this hassle for me.

The iPad is a device. Dropbox, Copy, and Pages are Apps not devices.
To send files to other Apps you use the Open in option from the Action menu of the source App.
for instance if you wanted to send a file from Mail to say Dropbox You would Tap and hold on the file icon in the Email and then tap on"Open in name of app" of your choice.
AirDrop only works to send files to other devices like other iPads, or iPones or iPods. It does not send files to other Apps like Drop Box.
In most Apps the action menu can be accessed through the icon that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it.

How do you add a word with ampersand to a dictionary in InDesign?

I added "M&A" to the User Dictionary in InDesign, but it did not seem to recognize this word. Instead, it highlighted the character "M". I suspect this must be to do with the ampersand. How do I add a word like this so that spell check ignores them?

I would suggest instead that you mark it with "[No Language]" - that should prevent spellcheck just as well, without needing to fiddle with custom dictionaries. (Which I honestly don't know how to do - we do all of our linguistic QA outside of InDesign, so I've never used a custom dictionary, otherwise I'd tell you how.)
